🙂 Mmmmm, sounds promising...

Thanks. 🙂
wearycyclist4 said:You take some paper—something larger than a standard poster... you roll up the poster, then roll the paper right over it, securing the whole mess with two or three rubber bands (not hair ties, mind you 🙂), depending on how massive it is... those bands are just there to keep the thing from unrolling. Then, at the top and bottom, you just tuck the edges of the paper slightly inward...

I get what you're saying, really, but the whole setup is incredibly flimsy—you're nowhere near getting that cardboard-like rigidity we need.
Go ahead then—try shipping that via an airplane halfway across the world... I dare you. 😁

I have a certain weakness for angry women wielding a spatula... 😁

Listen, you probably want to send some posters to someone—that’s why you started this thread, I assume... So, where on earth did you pick those up? 😁

I haven't actually purchased anything yet—but yes, I definitely want to start sending...

So, what exactly have you never done—browsing through those endless aisles of various bookstores...? 😕

I caught the latest stuff at the Target over in downtown—the top floor—and also checked out the selection at the Soho boutique inside the Importanne Center...

just grab some paper, wrap the poster up, and then use rubber bands...
I used to work in a gallery, and that’s how we used to ship posters all across the States 😎

Paper?
Rubber bands?
🤔
nimblemarlin17 said:Where can I pick up some posters around here? You know, the big ones—music, movies, whatever...

If you're looking for posters, just start your own thread, alright? 🙂
wearycyclist4 said:Man... just roll up the poster, grab some tape, fix the bottom, and—voila! 😬

By all means—take that beautifully rolled-up poster you’ve tucked inside another poster, ship it off to the middle of nowhere, Alaska, and then ask the local post office if it arrived in "perfect condition." I'm sure they'll love that... 🙄
So 🙂>

I found some in the stationery aisle at Staples—but they’re all plastic, you know, the kind meant for architectural blueprints and stuff like that...

What I'm actually looking for is something lightweight—something more like cardboard...😁>

🙂>
Much appreciated 😳
So, is this actually available for purchase?

Even at the main post office—the one over on Broadway where they sent me looking for bookstores—the staff there just stare at me blankly... and honestly, the local bookshops aren't being any more helpful... 🙄

I seriously need this—does anyone know which shops actually carry it? Pleeaaaase... 🙂
tanja88 said:Hey everyone,
I'm struggling with my sinuses—currently dealing with a cold and a nose that just won't stop running. I've been reading up on Oregacyn and how effective it supposedly is for sinus issues and respiratory health. I was wondering if anyone here has actually tried it... what kind of results should I realistically expect?

confused:

I feel like I've been dealing with colds my entire life—constant runny nose, and sinus issues are just part of my daily reality.

I have no clue about the exact dosage required, but a single bottle with 30 tablets runs about $83 so, if you're looking to start some kind of regimen, be my guest 😁

I went through an entire bottle of those tablets myself—nothing. Absolutely nothing happened.
The only thing you can truly expect is an overwhelming scent of oregano that makes it almost impossible to swallow...

Alex Scott22 said:He took his own life under a train. My punk mentor from back in The Principality—also the older brother of my absolute best friend and my cousin through marriage. I suppose this is a chance to finally mention him by name... though, the fact that it was The Switcher Train... how surreal...

R.I.P.

Domagoj Dragojević 1971 - 1993...

Wrong Way—so is that supposed to be some kind of new music venue?
I actually thought they decided to name the pizza parlor that used to occupy that space... 😁

Another thing—a member of the band took his life by jumping under a train, and the band itself is called The Switcher, and they play at a venue right next to the tracks... 😵

I am looking for fellow sufferers.

Alright then—it's all of us against one, or one for all, I suppose!

If anyone else is dealing with this monthly cycle every single day—and you have zero interest in listening to what some doctor at the Mayo Clinic has to say, preferring instead to find people to commiserate with over our shared misfortune—then please, feel free to chime in here and suffer alongside the topic starter... 👍

So, what did he actually tell you regarding your low blood pressure?

"Can't be bothered"... 😕 😕

Seriously, kid—get your act together... 😛

What you’re describing is something I dealt with quite a bit myself—mostly back when I was in school—and the culprit was almost always low blood pressure.

It didn't happen every single day, of course, but there were certainly those moments where everything just went dark and I’d end up on the floor...😁

A lack of sleep, skipping meals, poor circulation... any one of those things can set it off.

Go see a doctor.😉
Could I be lactose intolerant? in Health ·
I used to drink milk quite often, but it always left me feeling terrible—honestly, it felt as though I had swallowed a literal brick.
After years of dealing with that particular misery, I simply cut milk out of my diet entirely.
I’m not much for yogurt or similar products either—though I might occasionally indulge in a fruit one—but when it comes to cheese, I can eat it without any issues whatsoever.

Have you considered actually seeing a doctor?

Look, we aren't exactly qualified to provide a medical prognosis regarding your mental state over here...😁

To sleep with or without a pillow? in Health ·
For a few years now, I’ve actually been sleeping without any pillow at all—mostly because my various pillows have been doing nothing but causing me pain.

I mean, it’s not exactly painless, but when you’re choosing between two evils, you pick the lesser of them...😁
(And no, I don't exercise, which is obviously my mistake)

A few months back, I finally moved out of my parents' place, and since then, my boyfriend has been using this super thin, soft pillow of his—it’s almost unnoticeable, really—so that’s what I find myself sleeping on most nights lately.😍
This thread would actually be useful if we just renamed it: The Fear of Phone Calls 😁

I can already picture > spotting a telephone in a shop window and just turning tail and running the other way... 🤣
