It’s such a shame Mazepin messed up Vettel’s race. We missed out on seeing how he was actually holding up. His teammate really did him dirty.

Haas and Williams are absolutely stuck at the bottom of the pack. It doesn't look like Alfa Romeo or Alpine have made any massive strides forward either. As for Aston Martin, I'm still not entirely convinced since Esteban Ocon is putting up decent times, but Sebastian Vettel is clearly still struggling to find his rhythm. He spends more time fighting the car than actually driving it.

I honestly can't keep up with all these rule changes anymore.

Why are they all so much slower this time around? I was just looking back at the 2020 Preseason Testing times where Lewis Hamilton clocked a 1:29.033, but now everyone is stuck in the 1:31 range, even with plenty of drivers already out on soft tires

The field is incredibly tight 🙏. It’s crazy how compressed everything is
—from the leaders all the way down to Fernando Alonso in 14th, there's only a 0.9-second gap.

I’m not going to get ahead of myself just yet—we really need to see how this thing holds up during the actual race—but man, that car looks glued to the track. Daniel Ricciardo still seems like he hasn't quite found his rhythm with the machine; it feels like he'll need a bit more time to fully dial it in. On the other hand, Lando Norris was absolutely killing it.

The commentators were all over it during the session, mentioning how much Sebastian Vettel is struggling with his car and that he just doesn't look particularly sharp out there right now.

McLaren looks solid, but Max Verstappen is absolutely flying on this track.

Nicholas Walker40 said:Man, all that hating isn't going to hurt my feelings one bit.

It’s pretty obvious you're just dodging my point since you completely skipped over my last post without saying a word about it.

Edit: Anyway, getting back to the race—I’ve got this gut feeling that the B-team at Red Bull isn't going to be quite as sharp as they were last season. They've already let the main squad down a couple of times through Pierre Gasly, and I honestly think a penalty is going to catch up with them sooner or later.😁

Look, I think it’s pretty obvious why I can’t stand Fernando Alonso. It's common knowledge at this point. So, are you actually going to hold your ground, or are you just going to whine about it every single time?

Nicholas Walker40 said:Sure, you’re real lucky when some guy in his 40s comes back after a two-year break and absolutely crushes the grid.

Years go by, but the hate stays eternal.

I see the excuse for failure is already lined up—if things don't work out, just blame it on him being old. 🤣

I honestly think it would be incredibly satisfying to see McLaren play nice and help Fernando Alonso out on track, especially after all the trash he talked about them during his time with the team.

Lando's usually all about the jokes and the memes, so it would be hilarious if he just blew past him and tossed a quick "GP2 engine" comment over the radio on his way by.🤣

If they can pull even a little bit of improvement together, the battle for third place on the grid is going to be absolutely wild. You’ll have the usual powerhouse leading the pack by a mile, and Red Bull will definitely have their moments where they dominate, but that midfield? It’s going to be stacked. With Sebastian Vettel joining a new team, Fernando Alonso making his comeback, and if Ferrari actually steps up their game to stay in the hunt for third, things are going to get incredibly intense.

That’s exactly what I’m looking forward to next season. We already know the big shots will stroll to the title, with Red Bull popping up here and there to grab a win, but having Vettel at Aston Martin, Alonso back in a cockpit, Daniel Ricciardo over at McLaren, and a better Ferrari... man, the fight for the podium is going to be a blast. 👋

So, if Ferrari was basically "punished" regarding their fuel flow last season, does that mean we might actually see them step up their game this year?

That’s a pretty spot-on summary of your contributions to this subforum, especially since 90% of them are just low-effort junk posts about why Vettel had another bad drive.

Alright, I got the results back. It’s negative. 🙄

Alex Roberts4 said:But seriously, why even tell the doctor? No, I’m actually asking. If we followed that logic, everyone would be getting tested constantly because people are sneezing everywhere. Here’s a different take for you: A coworker's husband just tested positive. At home, nobody was contacted or told to isolate, even though at least four people were in close contact with him—working side-by-side, sitting together, all that. Luckily, my husband hadn't seen that guy in at least a week. It really feels like they've loosened up the rules on contact tracing...
Did they ask you any follow-up questions?

Because my throat is absolutely killing me. It's been stinging and making it hard to swallow for a few days now. Even Angel and some tea didn't do the trick, so I headed in feeling pretty optimistic.

They asked a ton of questions. Where I work, how long my throat has been hurting, if I have any other symptoms, my medical history, if I'm on any meds, if I've traveled out of town recently, and a bunch of other stuff. It was all over the phone—just a crew sitting in a little office wearing headsets, waiting to call you and walk through everything.

So, I head to my doctor because my throat is killing me, and she immediately goes into full drill sergeant mode. She sends me straight over to the local Mayo Clinic for testing, and now I’m stuck in self-isolation for the next two days while I wait on the results from the swab I got tonight. Everything else looks fine, though—oxygen levels are good, they did scans on my heart and lungs, checked my blood pressure, temperature... everything is totally normal.

Wait, so you sneeze once, tell your primary care physician about it, and suddenly you're being sent off for testing? This is going to sting my wallet since I can't make it into work for the next couple of days.
The Story of Fire Saga in Movies ·
A good friend told me I had to check this out. Honestly, I was expecting your typical Ford movie, but man, was I pleasantly surprised. The soundtrack is incredible, especially "Reykjavik." 🙏

I’m telling you, if this hadn't been at the very top of the actual Grammy Awards, it would still be better than 90% of the garbage countries send over there every single year. 🙏
KLCCLK, why do you have to troll everything? in Banned Users Corner ·
You’re handing out bans like candy, man. It’s always you, and it’s always the trolling.

So now I get slapped with a ban for that post about that guy taking his own life. What exactly was wrong with what I said? That kid clearly wasn't in a good headspace to begin with, yet everyone is pushing this narrative that he did it because of COVID and the lockdowns just to stir up more panic. That part was just a trigger—if it hadn't been that, it would have been something else. In a few days, some person is going to swoop in with an article claiming the guy had a history of mental health issues and various diagnoses, but I’m the one who stays banned.

I still remember that ban you tossed my way back at the start of the pandemic in February. I mentioned how Italians and Spaniards were likely to get hit hardest because they’re statistically high-risk groups, citing a study on handwashing hygiene after using the restroom where their rates were under 80%. You called that trolling too, even though it was just a statistical fact.

Now you’ve completely ruined my sports weekend. I can’t even talk about Formula 1 after waiting months for the season to start, let alone comment on the football games.

Thanks a lot!

Edit: You’re like Arnold in terminator when he pulls out the minigun, just slicing through people with bans exactly like that scene where he opens fire on the police from the building. :s

Does anyone even know if there's a better singer out there in the States?

Just please don't start with the Severina talk, for real... I mean, look at her forehead, little Alexander could practically grab a marker and start doodling all over it.

Look, I hear you, but honestly? Not really..it's a struggle.

Rozga is just all bones. Nives isn't much to look at either, Jurcevicka is way too masculine, Tina Katanic could pass if you squint, and Severina is a total butterface. Seriously... the whole lot of them are as flat as a cardboard cutout..
