Just wanted to mention that all these reviews and critiques are actually what prompted me to sign up for this forum!
Basically, the staff over at LensCrafters are absolutely useless! It’s my first time getting glasses, and honestly, I really didn't want to drop a small fortune on something when I wasn't even sure how I'd feel about them. So, I walk into the LensCrafters in downtown Chicago, and they show me frames in the display case that are $1200, $980, $333, basically nothing under $167! When I asked if they had anything cheaper—maybe some budget brands or something—the clerk told me they don't carry any discount lines?! (Excuse me? I am standing inside a LensCrafters!!!). After a lot of pushing and being visibly annoyed, she finally managed to dig out two pairs of house-brand frames from the very bottom drawer, which, by the way, cost about $200-$100, and claimed that was "as good as it gets." It was the exact same ridiculous story at the LensCrafters over in the shopping district.
Later that same day, I stumbled upon Look-Look Optics on Main Street, just to see what kind of selection they had. I told the woman there (who, unlike those people at LensCrafters, was actually polite and helpful) that I was visually challenged and broke. She actually laughed—unlike the previous crew—and pointed out a selection of frames that were 50% off if you get your lenses made there (and the lenses here are way cheaper than at LensCrafters). So, I picked out some "cool" frames right away and ordered lenses with an anti-scratch coating and an anti-reflective layer for computer use. The whole thing ended up costing me $183.
There you go. Maybe this counts as an advertisement (though that wasn't my intention), but it seriously gets under my skin when retail workers and service industry folks just refuse to do their jobs. As soon as they see you aren't about to drop two grand, they start tapping their fingers and rolling their eyes.
Anyway, I refuse to accept that walking into a store and getting a simple "hello" has become a luxury, or that I have to fight tooth and nail just to get a discount or a budget-friendly option!
Consider this a message to everyone reading these forums: I’ll keep posting this until these business owners realize that every single person who walks through their door is a potential "mystery shopper." All those TV ads and massive billboards in the world won't stop a bad review from a friend or advice found on a forum from sticking in someone's head.
Can someone help me make sense of these lab results? My red blood cell count is showing 3-5 when the reference range says it should be 0, and my white blood cell count is at 5-10, while it's supposed to be between 1 and 2. Thanks!
Look, man, if I were you, I’d start by just doing a clean install of Windows... once you’ve got that sorted out, grab Norton and get it installed... then you should be golden. Honestly, I highly doubt your CPU is being constantly maxed out. And whatever you do, don't go cluttering up your system with a bunch of random stuff like Kaspersky, Ashampoo, or who knows what else... most of them aren't even worth the trouble. Plus, keep in mind that when it comes to firewalls, hardware protection is actually the best way to go, so there's really no point in stuffing your PC with unnecessary software.
I’m 15 and I haven't been sexually active. For years now, I've dealt with some kind of yeast infection or something similar, but I never really worried about it since it just felt like a constant thing. Yesterday, though, I totally panicked because I noticed one larger sore sitting right in the middle of the irritation, and it hurts like crazy if I touch it. I honestly don't know if this is just part of the infection or something else entirely—it looks almost like a blister, or something similar, and when I touch some of them, there's this white discharge coming out. I'm really scared because it doesn't look good at all. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
I’ve been lurking on this forum for quite a while now, so I figured it was finally time to jump in and share my take on Healed and people like him—basically, those who profit from the misfortune of others. It’s honestly bold how shameless he is, even going so far as to bring the Lord into his rhetoric. It’s pretty clear he has no fear of God; if he were actually a believer, he’d know exactly what kind of reckoning awaits someone spreading such lies and delusions. 👎

You've got a point there
so I think I'll just tell the servers to ditch the floral decor entirely (which means no scattered petals either...)
If I decorate my cake with flower petals or little rosebuds scattered on top—are guests going to try to pick them off with their forks? Or will the servers... or 😕 😕 😁

Here in the States, it's covered under certain insurance tiers, so if you have a prescription, it costs just about $0.25 per 2 oz tetra pak. Just make sure the doctor specifically notes on the prescription that it's being used based on a specialist's recommendation. The retail price without a prescription for that same size is $13. You're supposed to drink two packs a day. My wife has been taking it for months now and hasn't dealt with any nasty side effects from it at all. You can find more details over at http://www.prosure.ws/en/index.html Best,
Thanks! I'll check with some local pharmacies to see if they have it in stock.
My aunt just finished her course of Temodar yesterday, along with some other medications. Honestly, she’s been hit really hard by it—she’s lost so much weight and can barely even stand up. Her appetite is basically nonexistent right now. Does anyone have recommendations for dietary supplements that might help her regain some strength? She’s already taking Noni, Biogen, and CoQ10, and she tries to eat fruits and veggies, but she just can't touch meat. I’m feeling a bit lost here because I know certain things, like Vitamin B, shouldn't be taken alongside Biogen. If you guys know anything that might help—please help me out..
Ugh, I honestly can’t believe how many clueless, mindless people are out there who have absolutely no grasp on things that are clearly bad for you—just pure, unadulterated nonsense. It’s honestly pathetic how ignorant some people can be. Hey, hello everyone. Look, don't take this the wrong way, and I know I'm probably going to catch a ban for posting this, but I haven't been active on this forum much lately anyway, so whatever.

Once everything had mostly healed and the scabs finally fell off, these little fatty lumps showed up, and it took forever for them to clear out. Now, everything has healed up nicely and I’m pretty much back to normal 🙂
Aside from having hands hard enough to punch through a wall 😬 (just kidding, obviously)
How long did it take for those lumps to go away? Did you put any cream on it? Did you end up seeing a doctor? I hit a wall once too, but I just ended up with scabs; my fingers didn't hurt as much—I could move them fine, they were just tender to the touch. How long did it take for your lumps to heal up?
coastalmarlin84 said:I think the discoloration finally cleared up recently—it’s been almost 11 months now—and all I've got left are these white scars. My finger joints still feel pretty tight, too, and I've noticed the bones themselves seem to have thickened out... I guess they're still healing, hopefully.😁
Did you also deal with a hematoma from the impact, or was it something else?
