No, we just noticed it today when he took it off. Anyway, I'll make sure we check in with the doctor to see if it's an issue. Thanks!
Rachel Brooks63 said:Look, my advice? He needs to actually listen to his doctors. If he doesn't want to spend the rest of his youth in a wheelchair, he really needs to follow their lead.
And as for you suggesting he just forget about the calcium supplements—if those pills were some kind of magic cure, they wouldn't be telling him not to carry anything heavy that irritates the area for four weeks.🙂
Regarding the discomfort he's feeling, he has massive bursitis in his hips, so I totally get why he can't deal with constant pressure 24/7...
I'm fully aware that supplements aren't a cure-all... I guess I just held onto this little bit of hope that it might help speed up the healing process.😢
Look, there are plenty of pills out there, but they aren't going to work on someone who's stubborn, refuses to see the facts, and is basically wired for self-destruction.
And yeah, therapy exists, too—he just isn't willing to put in the work. 👎
Honestly, if I give him a little bit of tough love, he might actually listen... 😍
I can't bring myself to give up on him, even though it’s absolutely draining my mental health. I just know he'll thank me for sticking by him one day.
So, if you have any advice... I’d really appreciate it... 😳
A young guy I know was in a car accident about a week ago. He ended up with a fractured vertebra—I think it was somewhere around T12 in his thoracic spine. The doctors gave him this brace that he has to wear around his torso for four weeks.
The problem is, the brace is giving him terrible chafing and skin irritation right on his hips. No matter how much he adjusts it, it either pinches him or feels too loose... honestly, he feels way better without it, but he’s required to wear it.
To make matters worse, he’s incredibly stubborn. He keeps taking it off and insisting he isn't going to deal with this thing for a full month.
I wanted to ask: are there any specific supplements, like high-dose calcium or something similar, that can help speed up bone healing? Or maybe some low-impact exercises he could do that won't put too much stress on his spine?
I'd really appreciate any advice you guys might have...
I’m planning on baking all the desserts for my sister's wedding myself, but I realized I'm missing some essential baking gear. Does anyone know a good shop where I can pick up decorating supplies—like cookie cutters and piping bags—in Miami? Please let me know the name of the store and the address! I actually live in Germany, but I’ll be vacationing in Miami this summer, so I’m hoping to get everything sorted while I'm there. Thanks a million!

You’re honestly just a total moron and a piece of trash for attacking someone who hasn't even said a word to you. Why don't you say that crap to my face instead of hiding behind a screen, you absolute clown?
What "stupid things" am I talking about? They're only stupid to you because you're an idiot who doesn't get it. You're busy bashing some random girl from the middle of nowhere, so of course you can't wrap your head around my posts. Just because I mentioned I haven't had a girlfriend doesn't give you the right to insult me, dammit.
And stop telling me how to live my life or who I hang out with, you low-IQ loser.
I'm not going to kill myself—if anything, I'll be busy taking down idiots like you.
stormymaker24 said:Hmm, I wouldn't say the issue is just the weed we have here. It just hit me—I had the exact same experience back when I was in Amsterdam, and I hadn't even touched any alcohol. The quality wasn't bad at all, nowhere near bad. But the next day? I felt like Snow White, the seven dwarfs, and every other forest creature were staging a riot inside my skull. On the bright side, though, the paintings at the Van Gogh Museum were absolutely incredible. 🤣 I don't think anyone can hand you a magic hangover cure. Either try mixing things up to find what works for you, or maybe just take a break from smoking altogether. One more thing—I'm not sure how much you smoke, but once you've been doing it long enough, your body stops treating it like an intruder, and the hangovers might just vanish. And hey, stop yelling at your doctor; the guy is just looking out for you.😉
I don't think the stuff is bad; it just has nasty side effects. I've been smoking for a long, long time. My pattern is totally random—three days on, five off; eight days on, three off; fifteen days on, one off. There’s no rhyme or reason to it. I just smoke when I feel like it, and I've been doing this for 20 years now. Does anyone actually know if the hangovers stop once you quit? Personally, I don't consider this an addiction, even if everyone on the internet claims everything is an addiction. I'm not looking for condescending answers.😁 🙏 👍
stormymaker24 said:Well... I mean, obviously... just try not to smoke? 😬 I don't know, I've never really done it unless I was mixing it with drinks. 😎 Back then, I’d usually fix myself a really hearty breakfast the next morning—maybe some cocoa or hot chocolate. Basically, something sweet, warm, and heavy. Good luck to you! 😬
It's not that I want to quit smoking, it's that this morning hangover is killing me. Honestly, I think the weed we get around here is low-quality, and that's why I'm dealing with these side effects. And since I only smoke on the weekends... well, who can wait that long?
If I smoke late at night, waking up the next morning is a total struggle. How can I avoid that heavy morning hangover and fatigue? I really need to feel sharp and energized when I show up to work.

(I am)(I am not)=0 😬
Translation: I'm a sinner, man. Exactly! I'm not a sinner. Exactly! I'm both a sinner and not a sinner. Exactly! I'm neither a sinner nor not a sinner. Exactly!
Maybe that quadripolar Eastern female Yin logic is just better than the Western male Yang bipolar style of saying "it either is or it isn't." It's got more dimensions, so it's probably better, right? 😍 Think of it this way in a Christian sense: (Satan)(God)=the exact same thing=0
People in the East never mistook nonsense for logic. The West actually understands fuzzy logic, which isn't just black and white—it's an entire spectrum of states in between.
The problem starts when someone tries to pass off their own confusion as "logic."
Go learn some actual BASIC or another programming language; coding logic will force you to finally straighten out that messy mind of yours.
dustyowl29 said:If you're training with weights, that's pretty intense work. Weightlifters often deal with hemorrhoids because of all that heavy straining... You should really see a specialist for a checkup; any kind of rectal bleeding can be a sign of an underlying issue...
Everything's fine today. I ended up just getting a scratch from some grain product—I don't think it was Hemače, I just scraped myself... If this keeps up, I'll go... but today went smoothly and I checked everything out in detail... 😁 👍
I’ll be honest, I used to laugh at this thread and even poked fun at people dealing with this issue, but after reading all 15 pages of this incredible discussion—even if some parts aren't exactly pleasant—I totally get it now.
To cut a long story short, I went to the bathroom last night and felt this sharp, cutting sensation, almost like something jagged was slicing through me. It felt like something sharp was scraping against my lining. I panicked immediately, checked everything down there, and saw a few large drops of blood on the stool. I went into full alarm mode, calling my mom and everything... but after doing my own "medical exam" using a mirror and other little gadgets, 😁 I realized there aren't any external hemorrhoids or anything visible on the outside. Sure, when I irritate the area by straining or relaxing, the color looks a bit darker, but that seems normal for that kind of muscle tissue. Everything looks fine when I inspect myself in the mirror...
Now, two things are really weighing on my mind:
- Is it possible I just "scratched" myself with food? I'm an athlete, so I eat a ton of high-fiber stuff like oats, granola, millet, etc., and maybe that caused temporary bleeding. - But here’s the big one: I had more bleeding this morning, and that same stinging sensation returned in the exact same spot where it feels like a tiny scratch...
I cleaned up well and applied some calendula ointment, but honestly, I’m scared stiff right now. I spend a lot of time sitting because I have to study, and on top of that, I’ve been training hard with weights... looking in the mirror, nothing seems suspicious, so maybe it really is just that little scratch reopening...
I’m currently loading up on magnesium supplements and eating kiwis to make sure everything stays soft tomorrow. The tricky part is that I eat 7 or 8 meals a day (and the food is top-tier, if I do say so myself), so I’m hitting the bathroom twice a day. Now I'm just terrified that I'll see blood again... ughhhhhhh.😕 👎 😲
Hmm, if you're asking me, it’s a bit of a headache... Is there anyone here kind enough to do that for me? I'll post an animation for you guys tomorrow. Thanks!
Once you catch the herpes virus, it’s essentially a lifelong roommate. It never actually leaves your system; instead, it just hangs out in a dormant state, lying low until it decides to flare up and cause those annoying blisters again.
Sandra Campbell9 said:Does anyone here actually bother with lactobacilli, bifidobacteria, and those other little microbes? If you do, I’m curious—are you getting them through yogurt, or are you more of a capsule person? I’ve noticed there is such an overwhelming amount of these products flooding the shelves lately, though they always seem a bit overpriced when you consider how quickly you go through them... it feels like a constant drain on the wallet. I suppose one might wonder if just sticking to standard probiotics would be sufficient enough, or if that's just wishful thinking.
Dealing with "sluggish digestion" is usually why people turn to those specialized yogurts or start supplementing with bacteria to help things move along... Honestly, I'm not sure if you really need anything beyond what you can get in a standard yogurt, unless you're feeling like your system is seriously off (like dealing with irregular or hard stools, for instance)....
By the way, check out Breaktime for more tips on healthy living!
The title pretty much says it all, but I'm stuck: I have this animation for my avatar, but the file size is just too chunky (it's sitting at over 15 KB). Any tips on how to shrink it down?
I still haven't grabbed a beer with unknown or gotten my DVD. Honestly, I'm going to be slammed for the next few weeks—between graduation prep and college applications, my schedule is a total mess. Just take me off the list for now so I don't hold everyone else up while things are moving slow... 🙂
So, let's have unknown send that DVD over to Harold Wright54...
