What really gets me, though, is that the person who started this thread hasn't actually contributed anything meaningful about love in response to all these posts. And then, they have the nerve to wonder if there isn't anyone "intellectual" around to lend a hand—and then they expect us to forgive them for it... It’s pretty bold to keep acting surprised that there aren't more discussions on love.🙂

I’ve noticed plenty of threads about getting laser eye surgery to fix nearsightedness, but I can't seem to find anything specifically for farsightedness. I was wondering if anyone here has gone through laser surgery for a positive prescription (+)? Did you have a good experience, or is this type of procedure even an option for farsighted people? Just for context, my prescription is around +9.5 in one eye and +10.50 in the other, plus I think I have an astigmatism of about 4.🙏

Without ultras, football is garbage... but hooligans are degenerates. I'm not even talking about the guys who get into scuffles (if you can even call them that), but the ones who go out of their way to destroy things just because they feel like it. That's not a necessity!

I need some help here. My 5-year-old son has had a tight foreskin since birth—he can't retract it at all. Our pediatrician referred us to a surgeon for a procedure under general anesthesia. This kid has already been through one major surgery (unrelated to this), and honestly, I can't bear the thought of putting him through another hospital stay. Up until now, he hasn't had any issues urinating, other than a little "ballooning" effect, and he hasn't dealt with infections. However, over the last month, I've noticed some slight bloody spotting on his underwear, though we did a urine test and everything came back normal. I’ve been searching everywhere to see if anyone has done this procedure without using full general anesthesia, but it seems like that's not really an option. Can anyone offer some advice or recommend a specialist in the Miami area who has experience with this? It feels like as soon as you take a child to a surgeon, their default answer is just going to be "let's operate." From what I've read online, this kind of radical surgical approach seems much more common here than it is in the West. If anyone has gone through something similar, please let me know.By

I’m not entirely sure if this is the right sub for this specific issue, but it felt like the closest match to what I’m going through right now.

So, here’s the situation... I’ve been divorced for a few years now. I have two kids. After the split, I moved us to a different city, and the kids started at a new school there.

My oldest has adjusted beautifully and seems really happy. My youngest, however, is struggling.
I’m guessing they’re acting out because of general frustration, but lately, things have taken a turn for the worse. Here is the most recent thing that happened:

I opened my monthly phone bill and nearly had a heart attack. Looking at the statement from $0.67, I saw a massive charge for $0.53 calls to premium-rate numbers—basically those adult entertainment hotlines.

Since I didn't make those calls, and my oldest didn't either, that left my youngest (who is only 10) as the only option.
I sat them down for a serious talk, and they actually confessed!!!
In total shock, I tried to tactfully figure out what kind of conversations they were even having, but...
It was like talking to a brick wall!!!
Of course, the first thing I did was call the service provider to block all those numbers immediately!!!

I have been absolutely eating myself alive over this; it’s actually caused me some physical health issues from the stress!!!

I finally reached the point where I went to my doctor to get a referral for a therapist because I am completely at a loss. Does anyone have any experience with this or any advice to offer???
Please, I’m asking for serious responses only because I am really hurting right now!!
