It’s definitely easier when you’re young, though I guess it really depends on the circumstances... when you're just starting out and hunting for a job, someone might hire you just because you have a certain look. But once you hit 50? You don't necessarily need to be a model for one person, even if you might still be for someone else... it's a tough subject to wrap your head around.
If I can be so bold... it feels like we’ve actually become a much smarter nation over the last decade or so...🤣 It seems to me that we weren't exactly the brightest bunch before; back then, if you wanted to order a vegetarian meal, you basically had to hunt someone down with a candle just to get noticed...😬 It’s a lot like how everyone suddenly turned to God back in the nineties🤣 ...everyone falls into those tired clichés, but those who don't are rare—and those are the ones I love (edo m.)
I’m really curious if anyone here has actually used herbal remedies to manage or even cure a serious chronic condition. For minor stuff, I’ve definitely seen herbs make a difference—though, honestly, I can't tell if it was just a placebo effect or the real deal. I’d love to hear your personal stories and experiences.
Ego said:I can't say I'm surprised... these days, being a vegetarian feels more like an intellectual status symbol that people flaunt to look smart, rather than something based on actual logic.
That’s just plain nonsense, kind of like when people claim liberals are somehow more intelligent than conservatives... imagine being a liberal who also happens to be a vegetarian 🤣
Alex asks: How do you handle those moments that just knock the wind out of you?
Honestly, when life hits you hard, the real question isn't about the setback itself—it's about how much power you're giving that situation to control you...
It’s also about how much weight you give to someone else's opinion when they try to tear you down...
Sometimes, what we call "struggling" is really just plain old laziness and a lack of drive.🙂
I’ve been wondering—is screaming your lungs out at a big game actually bad for you, or is it basically just intense vocal training for building a stronger voice?
I’m honestly at my wit's end here. I feel like I’m hitting a wall. I managed to track down contact info for a few reliable bands, but of course, they’re all fully booked for September. Since my fiancé works at sea, he’ll be gone for two months around then, so we don't have any flexibility to push it to another month. If anyone has any leads or advice, I would seriously appreciate the help—I’m starting to panic. I should be getting a number from a band out in Los Angeles later today, so we'll see what their rates look like. tatatatira
I have the exact same hair issues... I recently started using this fruit-based hair balm, and after about five or six uses, my hair feels so much stronger and I’ve noticed way less shedding. You should definitely try to find a balm that works for your specific hair type—I really think it could make a difference for you! 🙂
If she cuts her body fat percentage any lower, she’s going to be skin and bones. She honestly has an incredible physique—she plays volleyball and hits the gym regularly... That's why she asked me to hunt around the internet for some advice for her.
Hey everyone! I've been seeing Dr. Car for about three months now, and honestly, I am loving the results. Since I'm moving down to Los Angeles soon, I was wondering if there are any similar specialists in the area? I really want to keep this treatment going, so if anyone has any recommendations or info, I’d be super grateful!
Help!!! I desperately need some recommendations. I haven’t been able to book a band for my wedding in San Diego yet. I’m having such a hard time tracking down contact info, and honestly, I have no idea which groups are actually any good. I would be so incredibly grateful if someone could point me in the right direction!🙏 🙏🙏
