Lisa Richardson8 said:So, you know everything?

Not exactly. I tried calling 988. Apparently, the woman on duty has been working for 14 hours straight—or so they told me at the local clinic—but so far, nobody's picking up the phone. 😢
Anyway, as soon as I hear anything else, I'll let you guys know.

I managed to get my hands on them. If anyone needs them—I can send them over.😉

Or could you at least give me the business hours so I have an idea of when I can head over there?

Do you happen to have her number? 😍
Hey everyone, seriously, don't mess around with WD-40... that stuff strips everything away, including all the good grease in your bike's moving parts like the derailleurs, hubs, pedals, and so on. There are specific degreasers made just for this, but honestly, the best move is to let your bike dry out in a warm room for an hour or so, then apply a bit of high-quality dry lube (you can find it at any local bike shop) to the chain. If you just got caught in some rain, most modern bikes don't even need much maintenance besides the chain. It’s only when you get completely soaked by seawater on a beach somewhere that things start getting complicated... 👍

Meanwhile, I could basically sleep 24 hours a day, as long as I get a quick thirty-minute break every 6 or 7 hours...

I'll go first: 6'1"/185lbs
The old-timers say those are basically perfect numbers, though I can tell my gut is hanging a little low 😬
If you check out , there’s this "Gut-O-Meter" tool that tells me I've definitely got a bit of a beer belly 🙂
Your turn!

Though honestly, even the Opatija festival is pretty great. 😁

If you do, then that sense of connection still exists (for you, and for me too, obviously).
And if it exists in your eyes, then it’s real enough.

But honestly, I feel like this conversation is just going in circles.

Karen Sanchez19 knows exactly what I meant. 😉

What good is having connections if you don't have any actual friends or if you're totally emotionally checked out from people? lol Sophia, that's a pretty weak analogy. 😬

Is communication "going nowhere" just because I pointed out you were wrong? Since when does that happen? 🤣
Is that how they taught you things back home—to just shut down the second someone challenges your little doctrine?

Mano threatened Karen Sanchez19 because she totally disrespected Swamidji's name. Mano is a huge fan of everything that gentleman stands for.

But what exactly is this membrane dividing? What’s on one side versus the other?

Hey there, electricdrifter68! 😉

You hit the nail on the head. What membrane? There isn't one. 😉

Sophia Jones61 said:Do you remember that story where a group of guys drove a bus straight into an HK ashram just to mess with them, and then things actually got real?
They absolutely wrecked them—the bus, everything—and apparently, some small guns even started popping out from under the beds. 😁

Man, I'm out. 👋

Catch you all after my tour on Wednesday.

If you're brave enough to swing by Umag, let me know. 😁

Aaaah, so you're heading off to lectures and stuff... aren't you staying in Umag?

I guess I better start working up the nerve :shakingwithfear: 😁

That’s what happens when you try too hard to be politically correct, "nice," and cultured all at once... 😁

Take a page out of Anandamargia's book—arm yourselves so nobody dares to mess with you. 😈 🤣

Edward Green said:Well, hold on—you mentioned you're seeing a private doctor. That means you'll still need your insurance for things like prescriptions or referrals if you ever need them, I assume.

There HAS to be a gynecologist out there with an opening somewhere.

Yeah, you're totally right.

Anyway, I'll ask around.

I thought this forum would be great for finding private specialists, so I figured I’d get some solid info on public healthcare too. Plus, I wanted to know about enrollment deadlines and what happens if you aren't officially covered.

Thanks for all the help, everyone! 🙂

I just called her... she said her doctor moved away from the suburbs and now neither of them has a gynecologist they can rely on. 😢

But, she suggested calling the City General Hospital because they used to have really great doctors there...

So, yeah. 🙂

I saw Dr. Kos over there once. I know it’s always been a total nightmare with the crowds and long wait times. That’s why my old doctor was such a lifesaver.
A friend of mine goes to Dr. Dropulić (I think that's the name), but she isn't exactly thrilled with the service.
I really need someone gentle. I have some serious trauma when it comes to gynecologists. 😢

Jose Miller3 said:Look, here's the deal:

Right now, you're getting answers to the exact same question in two different places. We have that main thread over in the Women's Corner specifically so women can share their personal experiences; it’s really well-visited and full of great info.

You didn't get a reply ten hours after posting because the answer to your question has already been given at least ten times in that thread—which means you just missed it while reading.

Since we've agreed that discussions about gynecologists and recommendations should happen over there, I'm going to merge this thread with that one. If you want, you can head over there and find all the answers to your questions.

Also, please don't start new threads for doctor recommendations in the Health section, as they'll just be deleted. Thanks.

I actually did read the thread; that's how I ended up finding my private OB-GYN, which I mentioned in my post right here:

I use both private and insurance-based gynecologists. My private doctor is Dr. Darko Husar (recommended by other forum members), and I'm extremely happy with him.

Regarding the Health section, I deleted that specific part of my post because it wasn't relevant, but it stays here, right above the part you moved from Health.

All I noticed was that I got way more replies in the Health section almost immediately, whereas nothing happened here... though, obviously, the replies have been moved here now.

As for the recommendation request, I removed that in the new thread. I also rephrased the question to fit the Health section guidelines before you even sent this warning, so your sudden outburst feels pretty ridiculous.

Anyway, seeing how you reacted, I guess it's probably better that you moved my thread here. I'd rather have no answers at all than deal with an attitude like yours.

Sorry if I wasn't making any sense earlier, I was just really hoping someone might have an answer. Thanks! 🙂

Edward Green said:Doesn't look like much of a deep thought to me.

Well, maybe Jose Miller3 can send you back to the Women's Corner. 😁

I posted almost the exact same thing earlier over in the Women's Corner and didn't get a single response. I brought the topic here specifically mentioning that I hadn't heard anything back there—and then—Jose Miller3 just moves my thread back to the Women's Corner. I honestly don't get it. Did she even read what I wrote? After that, I tweaked the content to make it clearer, and now suddenly I'm being accused of being provocative.😁

I’m not about to go see some Dr. Frankenstein just because he happens to be the only one with an open slot on his calendar. 🙂
