Go ahead, keep arguing over who landed more punches or who walked away with more stitches. Or better yet, debate whether the atmosphere is better at a handball game in Washington, D.C. or Miami.
The leadership from all nine groups just held a press conference here in Washington, D.C., and anyone with half a brain knows we’re heading straight into a massive mess. Lower the temperature and stop wasting energy on this nonsense. We all have serious work to do, and there's no shortage of good ideas if we actually focus...
I first got hooked on Linkin Park back in seventh grade, then I moved through Limp Bizkit, Paramore, and Evanescence before diving deep into Nightwish, HIM, Disturbed, Children of Bodom, SOAD, and all that good stuff...
Alright everyone, heads up: there’s a press conference scheduled for Monday at 11:45 AM hosted by the National Fan Association. It’s going to be held at the Brussels hall inside the European House, located right over at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Pretty much every major American fan club has signed on to send their representatives. We're showing up as a united front with one single mission.
To honor this effort—and to finally put an end to all those childish arguments online—I’m asking that you lock down all threads except for this one for the next week starting Monday morning.
Steven Reed said:@Arthur Ramirez12, of course you can cancel. But I’d suggest running the math one more time to see if it's actually worth it 🤷—you've got your checking account sitting at Chase, which pulls in $1.75 monthly, every single check $1.75, the statements they mail to your house $1.75, and so on...
@Henry Adams58, they're looking into the status. Though, honestly, there's no need to deal with a physical branch 🤷—a modern digital assistant handles your checking, foreign exchange, savings, and money market accounts, plus five free digital transactions, all for just $6.75 🤷
Thanks for the info I'll look around and see if I can find a better deal
Nah, it’s not that, but I did put up a listing to sell something in one of my posts, and now someone is hitting me up asking for details, but I can't even reply... that's the issue. Otherwise, I don't really have any interest in chatting with anyone 😁
redmarlin3 said:Just click on their username. You should see four different tabs pop up, and one of them ought to be "Send private message to [username]." If that option isn't showing up, it just means they've gone into their settings and turned off private messages.
I tried doing that, and I even tried hitting reply directly, but I keep getting this error
... has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.
If you are trying to send this message to multiple recipients, remove ... from the recipient list and send the message again.
Maybe an Admin could let the user know? I can DM you the username privately—I could probably just drop it here too, but I don't want to put anyone on blast.😉
Nope, I can actually see they’re online right now, but I can't even send them a DM. There's no email listed to reach out to, and I don't want to look rude by just staying silent 😁
I’ve run into a bit of a snag. I got a DM from someone, but when I try to reply, I keep getting an error saying they've opted out of receiving private messages... does anyone know how I can get a hold of them?

I’m getting my HPV test results back this Tuesday, and honestly, I’m spiraling a bit. What am I even supposed to do if it comes back positive?! It feels like an incurable thing, and since it can be passed even with condoms—because warts can hide right at the base—it's such a massive deal for women's health. Am I seriously expected to just give up sex for the rest of my life or something? I can't wrap my head around passing this on to my girlfriend, especially knowing how much it increases the risk of cervical cancer and all that. I genuinely don't get what the expectation is here; apparently, 80% of sexually active people have it, yet everyone seems to be hooking up without a shred of guilt. If anyone actually knows what the protocol is or how to handle this, please help me out. I'm totally lost.

Give her some credit; she graduated from a top-tier teaching college in Oklahoma City, worked her way up to Vice President, and now The Administration has her tackling the biggest issue facing the nation. 😁
...it’s definitely *The Shining*... I mean, sure, I watched it ages ago back when I was just a kid (which probably explains why I still have those sleepless nights), but I truly believe it hits every single beat a great horror movie needs...
...and you can't ignore the fact that the first film actually took home two Oscars, which says everything you need to know...
I recently opened a checking account and signed up for one of those fancy digital payment assistants for $6.75 . So, I was wondering—is there a way to cancel that assistant if I don't want to keep paying the $6.75 monthly fee? Honestly, all I really need is a basic checking account where my paycheck lands, nothing else.
James Bishop62 said:The same thing happened to me just yesterday. Look, I get that mods don't necessarily *have* to explain themselves, but it would be nice if there was actually a rule requiring them to do so. That way, we'd know why a post got nuked and wouldn't keep making the same mistakes over and over.
Are you speaking from experience there? I'm wondering how many mistakes you could have possibly made with only two posts under your belt?!
Where would the moderators even find the time to explain every single deleted post? They've already got enough on their plates. A few posts being up or down doesn't really change much.
rustycrane5 said:I think it's just the one I mentioned; all my other posts in that Threads are still sitting there.
Dude, they only deleted one post. No need to panic unless you actually wrote some massive essay that was a thousand characters long.

That’s true... his sperm could have easily leaked out during the entire session...
I think you guys have been watching way too many movies. 🤷 Is listening to this stuff even healthy? Personally, nothing beats putting on Bach's suite in B minor, or maybe Mozart's violin and flute concerto, but hey, that's my field of expertise, so I can't exactly be objective.
😲 Who knows, maybe I’m just a closeted psychopath myself. 🤣
