Nicole Martin14 said:Look, I don't know the exact reason he pulled out, but I am 100% certain it wasn't because he was scared of Wilder. He knows Wilder is going to eat him alive.☕

Oh, come on, stop playing with me. If anyone is a clown or a circus act here, it’s Wilder. We’ve seen how much trash he talked and how tough he acted before other fights. Now? He’s clearly not feeling it anymore because he knows he got played.

Exactly—he learned his lesson and is just saving up his energy for the fight that your guy—let me repeat myself—canceled...

Nicole Martin14 said:Why was Wilder the first one to break eye contact during the face-off? That’s a dead giveaway of who’s dominant. When two guys are staring each other down, the one who looks away first is basically handing over the win. For example, whenever a guy tries to stare me down, I never blink or look away until he's the one who breaks.

Fury deals with bipolar disorder, which makes him a pretty complex guy. He can spiral into that deep depression he went through back in 2016. But there's another side to it too; it can act like a drug and throw you into pure euphoria. People with anxiety need a goal and a laser focus, otherwise, they start drifting. Fury explained it exactly like that.

Check out this video (subtitles are available if you need them):

🤦

Honestly, who wouldn't walk away after six minutes of that...

That’s a dead giveaway of who’s in charge. When two guys are staring each other down, the second one to blink or look away is basically admitting the other guy is the alpha.

DW stayed calm—cold as ice—while Fury was over there fidgeting, standing on his tiptoes just trying to look taller... and what happened? the whole match got scrapped. Total embarrassment—kind of like that first fight where he tripped twice...

Nicole Martin14 said:Are you aware that in a situation like this, you could end up catching a comedian on stage? You call him "imaginary," but the guy was basically clowning through the entire press conference.🤣

All we saw was an insecure Wilder who completely shut down. He couldn't even listen or speak. Honestly, I don't know why he even showed up.☕

He was totally messing around the whole time—but once he actually "watched" what he saw, he just couldn't handle it. I’m not even kidding. That's why later on, in some of those shows, he started acting like such a total fraud just to mask the fear... but in the end, he cracked and called off the fight.

All we saw was a shaky Wilder—he basically checked out and couldn't even listen or speak. Honestly, I don't know why he even showed up...☕

Man, he doesn't have time for that nonsense—DW was strictly focused on the game you just missed...

Nicole Martin14 said:So what? They're all my friends! Sure, they talk nonsense sometimes, but it's fine by me. Honestly, I don't even remember the last time I had a real argument with Zabogijem.🤔

I'm not going to report anyone—that's just not how I roll. I prefer to handle things face-to-face.☕

This image is 600x434—so yeah, by the rules, it counts.

What’s so stupid about it? I "read" him just fine. It’s pretty clear from looking at this that Fury was left behind after that whole "encounter" with DW... honestly.

I’m praying to God the fight actually happens. For real.

Nicole Martin14 said:Dude, just face facts—it's over with Wilder. His era is done, and he's never going to see a belt again.😉

That fight against Fury is gonna be the last one of his career.

He's just trying to hang on by a thread...😁

panther-1989 said:It drives me absolutely crazy when someone claims to follow boxing but can't see the massive gap in quality between Fury and Wilder. Seriously—you’re just manufacturing a fake rivalry that isn't even there. Fury is three levels above him...😉

Three levels up? Man, if that isn't trolling, I have no idea what is... seriously. How old are you anyway?

I just can't stand it when people start talking trash about Furyu. It hits a little too close to home for me... I'm pretty sensitive about that stuff.☕

And also you were just talking trash about DW—nothing at all...

Nicole Martin14 said:The only thing you’re actually waiting for is Wilder retiring and then watching Fury vs Joshua or Usyk fight to unify all the belts.

Nah, Fury’ll probably just retire first once he's had enough to drink and blow his mind on drugs...

Nathan Murphy said:I grew up watching him, alongside classics like Conan the Barbarian, The Terminator, and Predator, plus those smaller action flicks from the 80s. If you throw in True Lie and Taken, you get the full picture. I’m a fan of Arnie, but honestly, he isn't the best actor.

Richard Wilson4 As specified by:
Sly is an incredible actor, especially in the original Rocky Balboa, the first Rambo, Fist, and most notably in Copeland.

This is actually the first time I've heard someone call Sly an excellent actor. It’s funny because on another thread, there was this big debate about Brad Pitt. One group was insisting he’s top-tier, while my group was arguing that while he's good, he isn't quite "excellent" yet. Now, it looks like I might have to concede and start accepting Sly as an elite actor too. 😵 Let’s be realistic here: the guy is a mediocre actor who just happens to have an occasional standout performance. I recently rewatched *Copeland*, and honestly, that was one of the few times he actually nailed it. Sure, that role was better than his previous work, but that’s exactly the trap people fall into. They know he lacks any real dramatic range, yet the moment he finally delivers a decent performance, they suddenly start acting like he’s some legendary dramatic powerhouse.

By any standard, Sylvester Stallone isn't an elite actor. To earn that title, you need a consistent track record of stellar performances, and he just doesn't have that. People love Rocky Balboa because it’s a story about hope, and let’s be honest—any movie that provides that kind of inspiration is going to find an audience. He hit the jackpot with his timing, sure, but if you look at Rocky objectively, it’s a decent enough film that somehow exploded into a massive phenomenon. As for Sly himself, his acting in that role is just middle-of-the-road. I don't see a single standout moment where you could point and say, "Now, there is a masterclass in acting."

While Rambo is my favorite of his films, that crying and screaming at the end is just proof of how weak his acting actually is. Look, I grew up watching these guys and I love all their movies, but by any real standard, they aren't exactly "great" actors. In my book, they’re pretty mediocre—Sly might be a bit better, though that's debatable—but generally speaking, they're just actors who occasionally stumble into a decent role. That doesn't mean I don't respect what they achieved, especially when it comes to Arnie. To me, Arnie is a much bigger inspiration to young people than someone like Jack Nicholson, Robert De Niro, or Al Pacino, specifically because of how he fought his way up to become the biggest action icon of the 80s. He was a total anomaly, and you have to hand it to him for that.

🤦

Man, this one was a total facepalm...

It follows some cold, mysterious guy who lands a job at a firm moving hundreds of millions of dollars every single week in Los Angeles. Then his son gets killed—so naturally, he goes on a revenge spree.

DIRECTOR: Guy Ritchie
CAST: Jason Statham, Holt McCallany, Josh Hartnett

Wait, isn't it actually the other way around? He loses his son first, then gets the job...

frozenheron7 said:Honestly, this movie hit the spot for me. It was exactly what I needed right now. 🙂

I think the main reason it worked so well was that I went in with zero expectations, especially since Guy Ritchie was at the helm.
But here’s the thing—it doesn't actually feel like your typical Guy Ritchie flick, which honestly caught me off guard in the best way possible.
Sure, there are a few plot points that are pretty much staring you in the face—like, come on, we all know who the "inside guy" is—but that didn't ruin the experience for me one bit.

The bottom line:
It's a solid action thriller that doesn't try too hard to be something it isn't.

I see some people out there expecting something along the lines of Bernardo Bertolucci or Ingmar Bergman... well, good luck with that while you're busy watching movies starring Jason Statham.

I actually had no clue until that scene where he’s alone with Stethem in the van right before the heist...
