You mean the administrators. 🙂 It’s like trying to fix a broken sink by calling the landlord when the pipes themselves are clearly burst; if everyone else can get through the front door and she's stuck outside, the issue isn't with the house, it's with her key.
Double-check that nothing got scrambled on your end. Just make sure you're entering the right username and password. I'm not entirely certain if it'll work, but maybe try logging in by clicking that link in the activation email once more; you should be able to get through that way.

Is that so? I had no idea. Managing a community on a platform like Reddit can be quite useful; you have the option to issue a warning before jumping straight to a ban, and there are even plugins for things like "yellow cards" where a warning actually displays visually to the user. One of the quirks of using certain older message boards is that links tend to open in the same window, so I ended up installing a script just to force everything into a new tab. I’ve also added a quick reply mod and even swapped out the layout to make the interface look more like an old-school vBulletin site... things like that. Sorry for drifting off-topic. 😁

I honestly don't think you'd want that kind of headache, especially with a woman's perspective on things. I used to run the show as the CEO of an old vBulletin forum back when the license was still active, and I currently manage my own phpBB3 site, so from my experience, I'd suggest aiming for the top spot rather than settling for a Moderator role.🙂
Registered users will see the correct time on the forum, but guests are seeing a mismatch because Daylight Savings was toggled on instead of off in the Admin Panel.
That’s not really an option for you. A standard user doesn't have the clearance to wipe their own threads; those privileges are strictly reserved for moderators, supermods, and administrators. Your best bet is probably just sending a quick request to the moderator of that specific subforum to see if they can clear it out for you. 🙂
It might be worth reaching out to one of the site administrators directly. Just shoot someone a private message explaining the situation and providing some way to verify that tomasini76 is indeed your original handle; they should be able to sort this out for you.
It’s pretty straightforward: just fire up Adobe Photoshop and load the photo you want to work with. Head over to the resizing options, type in your new dimensions—say, 640 pixels for both height and width—and hit okay. Once that's done, go ahead and save the file to your hard drive as a .gif, .png, or .jpg.
From there, you’ll head over here, hit browse to select the resized image, and click upload. After the upload finishes, just grab the link found under the BBCode section and paste that directly into your forum post. 🙂

That's exactly what it is. The Administrator panel has an option to wipe a user's account while leaving their old comments intact, much like how certain social media platforms handle deactivated profiles. Whether someone left by choice or was removed for other reasons is anyone's guess.
If you’re already registered on Reddit—meaning it might be a bit late to be scrolling through this thread—you are entitled to request a single username change. This needs to be purely cosmetic, essentially just a minor adjustment. The admins can strip out numbers, dashes, or special characters, or perhaps slightly tweak the casing if that’s what you’re after. If you want to go that route, please direct those requests solely to Amnesty International.

If you look at the image below, specifically where the arrow points inside the circle, you'll find the total post count; clicking that number will pull up a list showing exactly which users posted and their individual counts. 🙂

Yeah, that’s a possibility. I actually thought the same thing a few times, but I held back from posting because I didn't want to look like I had no idea what I was talking about. 🙈 , but you're right; it’s entirely plausible for a platform this massive with this many users to run into those kinds of hiccups. 🙂

Ah, I see, you're talking about the blog settings! I'm afraid I can't be much help there, much as I'd like to, since I don't actually run a blog myself. Hopefully, one of the bloggers around here will chime in and help you troubleshoot that issue.
