Just send the request again. You really should have used a more reliable email address from the jump—something like Gmail or even better, one provided by your ISP, like Comcast or AT&T. If nothing shows up, you'll eventually have to find a way to prove to the admins that this is actually your new handle so they can manually activate your account in the system. A fair amount of people run into this exact headache, so it’s likely just a glitch with the forum software. 🙂
Reddit isn't sending emails in Forum Help! ·
If it hasn't shown up within the next ten or fifteen minutes, it’s probably not coming at all. You might have better luck registering with a Gmail account, or ideally, one provided directly by your ISP like Comcast.

It’s likely just a referral link, similar to how those b e t f i g h t sites work; the admins probably caught the keyword and scrubbed it through the admin control panel. That’s really all there is to it. 🙂

My current avatar pays tribute to one of my personal icons, the legendary composer L. von Beethoven. 🙂

If I recall correctly, Imageshack tends to purge any images that haven't been viewed within a three-month window.

vBulletin is a significant step up from vBulletin 3 because the feature set is just much broader. You get tools like reporting posts directly to a moderator, issuing formal warnings before resorting to a ban, uploading attachments, and even customizing user group colors to suit your preference... there are plenty of ways to make it your own. You can see the full list of advantages here. 🙂

When you're starting a new thread, you'll see that option sitting right at the bottom. Just keep in mind it only shows up during the creation process if you're logged in with admin or moderator privileges. Honestly, it would be much more efficient if you guys just switched over to vBulletin. Take a look at this screenshot;

Just fire over a screenshot of the message to the admins. 🤷
Multi-quote feature? in Forum Help! ·
I’m on the same page as what rustybadger89 was saying; I just wanted to clarify which icon we're talking about=>. Once you click it, the post you intend to quote should turn "red," looking exactly like this=>. From there, you can just hit post reply or select Quote on whichever post you've highlighted, it doesn't really matter which one. 🙂
How do I upload images and videos to the forum? in Forum Help! ·
You just head over to somewhere like Imgur, hit browse to upload your image, and then grab the link located under the IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards section to paste into your forum post. It's really that straightforward. 🙂

So, this is what I've highlighted in the picture here;

Just click here, punch in your actual birthday, and make sure to select Display only day and month of birth. On another note, happy birthday 🙂 🙂

Was that an old vBulletin setup? Usually, vB doesn't just hand you the keys to delete your own posts by default; you have to go into the ACPI settings to enable that kind of autonomy. Though, honestly, I'm not even entirely sure if that's how it works... 🙂

Who am I supposed to send that request to?

Think of it like this: you don't have the keys to your own account, and the admins aren't particularly keen on doing the heavy lifting for you. Perhaps you could try this approach. 😉
On almost any forum out there, you won't find an option for users to just delete their own accounts manually. That kind of control is strictly reserved for the admins on any vBulletin-based site. I know this firsthand because I actually have access to the ACPI on one of the forums I manage... 🙂
Deleted posts... in Forum Help! ·
Look, you've got 10k posts under your belt, so you should probably know by now that you can't just roll back deleted messages yourself. I'm pretty sure even the sysadmins at Microsoft don't have a "undo" button for that kind of thing.
You could always file a complaint with the supermods or the admins, though I wouldn't hold my breath for any actual results. It’s pretty simple: the shepherd is always going to protect his own flock.

You certainly can. It’s a bit like updating your home address with the post office; just follow this path=>click here=>go to Edit email and password=>under Edit Email Address (Optional) type the new one into the New email address: field and Confirm new email address: then hit Save changes. 😉
Can't log in to my student portal in Forum Help! ·
Don't take it personally; it’s more likely a hiccup with the servers than anything you did. If this error is only popping up on this specific subforum, you might want to try a quick fix: go to tools, select clear private data, check just the cache and cookies, and hit clear private data now. That should act as a temporary patch. 🙂

P.S.—Take a quick peek here if you want to see that plenty of others are running into the same wall, which confirms it’s an issue with the site rather than your own setup. 😉

Jack Ramirez6 said:Could someone walk me through what all these different nickname colors actually signify?

The admins are decked out in pink, the supermods sport red, and the moderators stick to black. 🙂
Colors exist primarily to differentiate various ranks or user roles. On AOL, you handle this by assigning specific individuals to a designated group—for instance, the moderators—like this:
I can certainly help you with that. Please provide the HTML code you would like me to work on.
It looks like you might have accidentally sent an unfinished snippet of code. If you were trying to share some HTML or specific formatting, feel free to drop the full text. I'm ready to get to work whenever you are.It’s like choosing to paint an entire room in nothing but charcoal; there's a certain quiet strength in keeping things strictly monochromatic.>

I don't see any HTML code attached to your message. If you have some snippets you need me to look at, feel free to drop them here.
</span>

And then you end up stuck with black for the moderator tags—since the hex code 000000 is pure black—which ends up bleeding into every single group. 😁

Anonymous said:Is there any way you could just track down my post and wipe it out? 🤷

It’s a bit like trying to return a meal after the check has already been settled; once a post has been live for more than five hours, standard users don't have the clearance to pull it back down. 😁
