It’s an inside job by Management. 🙂 I know because I’ve been in on the plan from the start. Just keep it between us, alright? 😉

😛

Just pulling your leg a little there. 😁

Yeah, those vocal harmonies (whether they have backing tracks or are strictly a-cappella) are truly something else. 🙂

Sophia Wells72 said:What do you even mean by a "natural death"? Is it just reaching ninety or maybe a hundred when your body finally decides to call it quits because the organs are worn out from years of wear and tear—if we want to get all clinical about it? Usually, when we hear someone passed away, the first thing we ask is what happened and how.

Man, don't start getting all philosophical on me now, for crying out loud. 🙂

Personally, if I had to go, I’d want to drift off to the sound of some classic American bluegrass harmonies. [IMAGE REMOVED]

Could someone point me toward the senior staff members I can contact regarding moderators who aren't following the signature rules? I haven't posted here in about six months, yet I just received a warning today regarding my signature—issued by a moderator who, frankly, seems to be violating the exact same policy. To make matters more interesting, I pointed out about ten other moderators whose signatures include links to sites like YouTube or Pandora.

The reasoning behind my warning was that links are strictly limited to internal sites like Reddit, CNN, or local news blogs, yet the moderators themselves seem to ignore this rule constantly. It feels a bit cynical to penalize regular users while the staff gets to operate under a different set of standards.

Links to YouTube, Pandora, and Myspace are perfectly fine...
However, linking to other forums, news portals, or using referral links is prohibited...
For a full list of what isn't allowed, check here.
You can also find the directory for Moderators and Admins here.

Best regards. 🙂

Why not?

OT: Honestly, there are quite a few, maybe James Blunt - Back to Bedlam.... 🤷Just something to ponder.

Check the subforum description😠—it's all there!

Even if you held the gavel, the most you could really give him is a yellow card warning; after all, the guy just spoke up to ask an urgent question, and we should probably exercise a little common sense, shouldn't we? 🙂

@author: Start a thread over here using the same question you posted in this one. 👍

That’s right, images aren't an option for signatures here. If I were the OP, I’d suggest checking the 'Signature Permissions' on every subreddit you visit to see what the rules allow. These settings are ultimately handled by the forum administrator. On Reddit, the current setup shows Allow Image BB Code No and Can Upload Images for Signature No, which basically means you can't include any pictures in your signature.

Allow Basic BB Code Yes
Allow Color BB Code Yes
Allow Size BB Code Yes
Allow Font BB Code Yes
Allow Alignment BB Code Yes
Allow List BB Code Yes
Allow Link BB Code Yes
Allow HTML No

Allow Image BB Code No
Allow Code BB Code No
Allow PHP BB Code No
Allow HTML BB Code No
Allow Quote BB Code No
Allow Smilies No
Can Upload Images for Signature No
Can Upload Animated GIF for Signature No

Best. 🙂

A moderator is basically what happens when an Admin and a regular user have a kid. Something like that. ☺

Here is the reasoning. 🤣

Please, don't hesitate to ask again. 🙂

Just hit Ctrl+0 (that's zero, not the letter O) on your keyboard

😉

In Google Chrome: View->Text size->Normal

Is that better now?

Could you please run that by me one more time? 👍

You can handle this in Google Chrome by following these steps:
Go to Tools -> Options -> Content, then look just to the right of Load images automatically. Click on Exemptions, and once that window pops up, simply select Remove all sites.

That should do the trick,

Best, 😉

But what's the point of all this?😁

🤣
I haven't the slightest clue; I've just encountered this page for the first time. 😁

Does this pop up whenever someone lands on the first page of this thread?
Klikich 😕
That's quite a lovely picture 😬

Maybe try clearing your cookies and cache...

briskbison41 said:''Heklerspray is currently having a makeover, and will be back soon''... what's that supposed to mean?😁

Probably this. 😎

wiredhound32 said:Does anyone know how I can upload an image I grabbed from the web and then trace over it to create something new?
edit
test run:
http://img23.imageshack.us/content.p...pg&via=mupload

It’s pretty straightforward—just grab the snippet of code labeled Thumbnail for forums and paste it right into your post. It’ll show up as a small preview, which isn't really an issue since clicking it will just pop open a new tab with the full-sized version of the image.

Best, 🙂

?

It’s possible the photo was taken down, or maybe your browser just didn't load it quite right.

Amy Walker4 said:What does it mean when someone is listed as a "Patient" under their username, and the location says "n/a"? Does that mean the user was deleted? Also, what does "n/a" stand for?

Seeing "Patient" usually suggests the account was wiped out, perhaps due to a system glitch or because it was a dormant registration—like someone signing up just to spam and then never posting again. Most American forums, much like this one, allow admins to scrub a user's profile while keeping their old comments intact.

As for "n/a", it simply means "not applicable" or unknown.

Best, 🙂

rapidrider3 said:I just thought of a quick question.

How do you get two small images to sit side-by-side? Stacking them vertically is easy enough, but I’m trying to figure out how to place one to the left and one to the right.

I want them visible at the same time without scrolling. Is there some trick to the pasting process, or is it something else entirely?

If there is a specific way to do it, how does it work?🙏

You basically just drop the code for the second image immediately after the first one's code on the same line, maybe adding a little space between them if you want. 😉

For example:
