Nica, you think anything's actually gonna come of this?

Reading matters; your vocabulary, your way with words, all of that can be mastered through books.
We have to encourage kids to actually read; as an American English teacher, I’d lose my mind if I found out a student didn't read the assigned book and just copied some summary from the internet.
Timothy Mitchell2 said:Everyone forgets it’s actually about learning how to live, right? Real stories, morals, those messy dilemmas... I always think back to the bravery in Hero Pavlov’s street or Raskolnikov’s internal struggles... it’s way more than just checking a box for American literature classes. 🤗

We really ought to be shifting our focus toward those economic shifts... ☕

I guess I really don't see how that held me back later on in school or just life in general. 😁
Peter Ruiz2 said:Honestly, I’d rather sit through a longplay of old games on YouTube than watch any of these movies. You can absolutely translate a game's story and atmosphere into a movie or a limited series format, but instead, they opted for mindless shooting sprees—you know, those Milla Jovovich flicks—and we ended up with this mess.
There might actually be a reason why the movie looks so cheap and amateurish. It turns out the production house is the same one behind the Milla Jovovich movies: Constantin Film. My theory? Production companies occasionally churn out a movie "on the fly" just to keep their rights from expiring. The last Resident Evil film came out back in 2016, so it's totally possible they rushed this one out just to secure the rights for a better reboot. If that’s the case, maybe the production quality will improve next time, but I highly doubt we'll get actual storytelling, decent acting, or atmosphere. We'll probably just get more senseless gunfights.
I read somewhere that Capcom regrets selling the rights to Constantin Film, which goes all the way back to 1998.

It's not like you can just get it lifted easily. Larry Walker24 (hey 🙂) actually asked to have his partial ban dropped for a few days just so he could post about the Eurovision Song Contest, but the guy wouldn't budge. 😵
rustydrifter10 doesn't get too involved in this stuff, though I bet she doesn't agree with some of those partial bans either.

It's not like you guys can permanently ban me from the psychology board, no matter what I do... So why can't these partial bans just be lifted? Seriously, what kind of rules are these? Get it together.
