I’m about to start commuting about 8 miles to work by bike hopefully it’ll take me around an hour my ride is an Avalanche 3.0—just a single wide tire setup 😁
honestly, I’m a little worried about sweating through my clothes 😁 or having a tire blow out halfway there 😁
anyone got any tips for actually pedaling? I’ve mostly just spent my time driving or staring at screens... haven't really done any purposeful cycling before
oh please 😁 you’re really going to try and tell me 😁 what’s on my mind I watched both of them—and I was talking about the second one when I said it was actually decent and that was back before I even knew if they were the ones behind it or not you know, when you're watching something without any preconceived notions getting in the way... sure, you can definitely tell it's a budget production, especially with how the audio turns out... but honestly, it wasn't half bad
It felt like the theater was packed with nothing but feminists and their boyfriends 😁 so yeah, I’d say the movie is definitely neoliberal 😁 at least, if you ask me
good movie it’s all about how persecution starts when people take religious texts way too literally basically the blueprint for the Middle Ages and a prototype for the next thousand years of darkness—all because of a few hotheaded fanatics
that said, the film serves as an excellent foundation for feminists and anyone else looking to critique the Church though there is a bit too much judging going on, and those pretentious messages at the end targeting Cyril and the Church feel a little much
still, it’s worth a watch just to wrap your head around what life was actually like back then...
I only ever saw the original, and honestly, back when it came out, it was pretty shocking I watched something somewhat similar in a Korean flick once Last night I caught Bedevilled—it’s about this woman getting revenge on everyone on the island for all those years of abuse😁 though things get weird when she snaps and starts talking to the sun😁 and getting messages
I’ve finally sat down and worked my way through some of the absolute heavyweights—you know, those essential classics everyone keeps talking about. I honestly don't have the time—or even the desire—to deal with anyone else.
