Those unsettling sounds during the famous scene where the shower curtain is pulled aside were actually created by slowing down the audio of a cat being pulled out of a basket.
Was it just me, or was that scene incredibly bizarre—where the guy somehow punches a hole through a windshield with a golf ball and knocks the passenger unconscious, if not dead?
To me, it felt a bit forced. I actually went out to the driving range to see if such a thing is even physically plausible; the shots broke through, sure, but they were traveling at a significantly higher velocity than what this character managed to achieve in the movie. Plus, they were hit from a much shorter distance and at a far more "realistic" angle than our protagonist's shot.
To wedding story remains my absolute favorite. We see weddings depicted on screen so frequently, yet they are almost always incredibly tedious and predictable 👎
While my most vivid memory of him comes from The Godfather, he was at his absolute wildest in Breakaway. It’s a film that doesn't get nearly enough credit. But in that role, Brando was given total creative freedom to improvise, and he certainly knew how to exploit that opportunity.
