Requesting a partial ban doesn't guarantee you can undo it later. I remember explaining this exact point to you during your own request...
The moderators for politics and history have decided not to restore access, and you accepted that possibility when you first asked for the partial ban.

The President has been suspended for two months (starting Feb 26, 2018) because we can't set specific end dates right now. Just reach out on February 1st to get it cleared...

I don't believe shortening the point duration is technically feasible. An administrator will reach out to you soon. If there are technical ways to make it work—and if my opinion carries any weight since you addressed me directly—I certainly wouldn't be opposed to shortening them...

Please refrain from posting here without being logged in. We’ve issued plenty of warnings, but moving forward, we will be strictly enforcing this rule. Whatever the issue may be, please use the report button or message the moderators directly first... wait for our response, and only then come back to this thread. I want to make it clear that bypassing these steps is considered an abuse of this document and will result in penalties.

Historical debates can only happen here if presenting certain claims results in sanctions. Otherwise, those topics belong in the Politics or History sections; this section isn't intended for them, so please move those discussions to the appropriate subforums. If you've gotten a different impression based on John Wayne's recent appeal, that was an exception because making that specific claim had triggered sanctions, and the appeal was specifically about allowing such writing without penalty.
The moderators participate in forum discussions just like everyone else. If taking a side is permitted for all participants, it's permitted for them too, regardless of which side they take, provided they follow the rules of this section.

You can request a three-day ban. In fact, anyone is entitled to request a temporary suspension for any duration up to two years, regardless of their reasons—whether they feel they deserve a timeout, just need a break, or something else entirely. I’ll handle your request that way...

Please provide links for everything you’re complaining about. You have a twenty-four-hour window to voice concerns after reporting a problematic entry. Currently, the only link provided leads to a post from earlier this morning.
