fadedbear92 said:So, what exactly is your grievance with your own parents?

It's just the fact that I'm Catholic and the fact that I live in this absolute joke of a country... which is so incredibly screwed right now that it’s honestly not even funny.
Are you actually planning on raising him to be the kind of guy who just hands out his work to friends for free?
Or are you gonna play the whole "protecting my competitive edge" card? You're the one who literally said "education equals value," remember?

But seriously, nobody’s out here trying to raise a saint, right?
Let’s broaden the scope here and try to paint a bit of a black-and-white picture:

Is it actually normal to raise a boy who knows his way around a kitchen, keeps his room clean, handles the laundry, plays the violin, or even digs ballet and stuff like that?
On the flip side... are you going to raise him to be some kind of punk rocker... or is he just going to become one because of how you handled things?
Where do you draw that line between being a true patriot and being an extremist... how are you going to shape his politics and who he ends up voting for...
Are you going to force him to hit church every single Sunday like a model Catholic... (or whatever faith fits the setting/time)

I'm pretty damn sure you all want your kids to be everything you weren't... and everything you know you'll never be...
So you're curious to see how that actually plays out...

If you're a "plumber"... yeah, you'll probably definitely want your kid to follow in those footsteps too...

And you're gonna ride them about their math homework just like your parents rode you... yeah, obviously, you absolutely loved every second of it...

-------------------------

Now, for the daughters:

How long are you going to try to ground her and stop her from going out?
Are you planning on keeping her on a tight leash until she's 30...
What happens if someone hooks up with her before then... man, imagine that... especially if she was the girl who went to church every Sunday...

Are you going to give her the side-eye when she brings home some 30-year-old guy (the exact type of "model Catholic" described above, who just happens to be a total jerk) while she's only 18?

Which, honestly, is totally normal... it would probably be best if you guys just laid out your "wish lists"...... and then we can actually talk about them...

Actually, I'd suggest starting a whole new thread specifically about parenting—something like "Describe your ideal child"

Because there's a huge chance this conversation is just going to get watered down and turn into a massive flame war where everyone starts attacking the views of these "future parents"

Wait, what? Are you actually serious right now? I can't even believe I'm reading this. Honestly, some people just have zero sense of reality, and it’s honestly exhausting to watch. Like, seriously, take a breath and look at the facts for once! It’s not that complicated, people! kaže:
The pipes are full of stainless steel, but full of what exactly???🤔

Honestly, nothing beats a massive plate of seasoned steak and rice. Just pure comfort food. 🤣

I think he was probably talking about "filanes," right?

Coffee filters.
Glass jars.
Wide glass container (like a Pyrex baking dish)
A few drinks.
96% grain alcohol. Pure stuff.
I don't see any posts from Aceton here. If you want me to write something for them, just drop their content below and I'll get to work!
Glacial acetic acid, like, 70% or higher? That's some heavy-duty stuff right there.
Separation funnel (or like a big pipette, a massive medical syringe, basically any gear you can use to split liquids apart)
Fridge with a built-in freezer.

~ by I don't know what you're trying to get at with "EXARP," but if you're looking for a deep dive or some kind of breakdown, you're gonna have to be a lot more specific than that! Give me something to actually work with! (23-11-2007, 21:52)

Hey everyone,

The better the forum gets, the more it needs Visa members...

And since everyone seems obsessed with making a quick buck these days...
...I honestly don't think people would have an issue with paying up, provided the perks are actually fleshed out properly. 🙂

Here’s what I’m looking for:
- A green username color
- More storage space for private messages
- The ability to embed Flash videos🙂
- Zero ads
....

How much I'd actually drop depends on what those "special features" end up being, so let's get the discussion going...
...we can hash it all out right here...

PS
If you guys think this whole thing is a waste of time, feel free to just kill the thread.

Whoops, totally messed up the PDF upload. Can someone move this for me, please?

1 cup, 1 pint, 1 ounce, 1 tbsp, 1 tsp, ....

I’m just so tired of having to convert everything to milliliters every single time, because let's be real, 1 cup of blueberries isn't the same thing as 1 cup of flour if you're looking at weight.....

And honestly, trying to convert to milliliters is just madness... you always end up with these weird, messy numbers, and I really crave precision.😁

Thanks!

placidjackal36 said:Life sentences without the possibility of parole are the only logical path forward. Back in the day, during the war, people committed absolute atrocities and were only handed ten-year sentences. To me, that’s the definition of insanity.

As for corporal punishment, it's a total joke. Not only is it criminal behavior in itself, but it doesn't actually guarantee anything. All it does is push the initial crime further underground, where—lo and behold—it becomes even more brutal. Criminals just get better at hiding the evidence, and once you connect "hiding the evidence" with "organized crime," I think you'll see exactly where this leads.

Regarding marijuana: look, I am personally against its use, but I can't wait for the day it's decriminalized and treated as a minor infraction rather than a major offense. The way things are being handled right now is pure madness, and it opens the door to a whole host of dirty business that most people don't even realize is happening.

as if you didn't already know 😁... man, you've only been waiting like 4 days lolololol

Man, I honestly can't be bothered to read through all this pointless rambling.

I’m pretty sure I basically performed my own exorcism a few years back.
With how many times I tried to end it all, I bet all those demons were absolutely terrified and just cleared out.

And even if they're still lurking in there somewhere, they've probably already been fried by the sheer intensity of the pills, the cigarettes, and just living a straight-up trash lifestyle.😁

Thieves don't steal
Killers don't kill
Mulac doesn't rape
And they don't spill blood

Seriously, nobody has a better police force than ours uaaa

They lock up the thieves
They punish the killers
But Mulac gets all the love
While they just soothe the wounds

What's your definition of insanity? in Psychology ·
I’ve been thinking that there might actually be a whole spectrum of different types of madness, basically just different combinations of a finite set of mental illnesses or disorders.

Just for some brainstorming here:

What kind of specific clusters of conditions would you even want to see played out in a character? 😁

Type 1.
Schizophrenia mixed with claustrophobia, kleptomania, and a heavy dose of narcissistic personality disorder.

Type 2.
PTSD combined with pyromania and gender identity or sexual expression stuff.

Type 3.
... let me hear your ideas! 😁
What's your definition of insanity? in Psychology ·
I think we should break this madness down into a few different categories.

Crazy = "maniacal slash public exhibitionist, rapist, pedophile."
Crazy = "David Icke types."
Crazy = "extreme PMS vibes."
Crazy = an overly specific and totally irrational reaction to some "action"
....... like, say, throwing a water heater at some guy... which would definitely be a case of wildly misperceiving reality.

Add to the list if you're on board with the idea that there isn't just one type of crazy.🙂

Actually, wait, it just hit me:

let's look at the whole mess from this angle:

Crazy = a very specific cocktail of a finite number of different mental illnesses.
placidjackal36 ... you gonna comment on that PDF of jokes? especially those dark ones? 😬
