How likely is it that these pills are triggering panic attacks?
I’ve got finals coming up, but these meds have me feeling totally numb... I honestly feel like I won't be able to get any studying done at all. ... I just caught myself having this sudden, massive racing heartbeat, and I'm pretty sure it was a full-on panic attack... It feels like someone is literally choking me with a Pilates ball. No matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to breathe my way out of this crisis.
How do I fix this? I'm stuck in this endless loop again.🙂
I'm feeling a little better now because I managed to chill out and actually start hitting the books... I'm getting a bit of my confidence back and the feeling is starting to lift slightly.
Please, if anyone has some advice, I'd really appreciate it.
So I just checked my records—it says F32.2 🙂 (even though the first diagnosis they gave me was actually F23.3...) so things are looking a little weird right now 😁 but whatever, it is what it is
Yeah, I totally get that you’ve probably had a much harder time when it comes to the depression side of things.
@lupus_est: It's worth it! Also—if you ever find yourself hanging out in Chicago, hit me up!

And honestly, how is it that this isn't viewed as a flaw in the world, but rather as some sort of personal failing on your part—that you’re expected to actually put in effort for a friend? What exactly are we supposed to call it when you go looking for her help? You know as well as I do that relying on chemicals isn't some kind of silver bullet. It’s never been the answer, and it certainly isn't going to be now.
How'd you even come to that conclusion? Honestly, I have zero clue who even penned that post, and frankly, I couldn't care less. ...because I'm just a selfish, full-of-myself, narcissistic, egocentric piece of work. 😍

The real issue is that we’re being forced into these social circles we didn't even ask to be part of. Look, we don't even need to be friends if we aren't on the same page—period.

Who am I even supposed to be asking for help here? Like, who is this girl anyway?

Look, let’s just be real here—depression isn't some mood swing or a lack of willpower; it's a legitimate medical condition that needs actual treatment, like antidepressants, to get managed. Honestly, you guys who have no clue what's actually coming—just start crying now. 😁
So I finally swung by the psychiatrist's office today:
- Zoloft - Xanax - Solian
Man, I’m seriously wondering how much this stuff is gonna wreck my liver, but honestly? It feels freaking incredible!! I'm so high right now I can't even put it into words 😁 I'm basically gonna be getting "hammered" on this crap every single day—strictly following the prescription, obviously!

I suppose there are still people like that out there somewhere
it really boils down to this: "don't act like that."
"don't ask me questions like that"
"don't do this... you can't... no..."
it's basically the same vibe for your entire life.
that was my huge epiphany yesterday, 100%—nobody ever actually taught me HOW to do things... they just spent all their time telling me what I wasn't allowed to do... what was unacceptable and whatnot...
so now I'm just playing the part of a houseplant.... acting all polite and stuff...
Look, just imagine you’ve got a driving instructor who only tells you what *not* to do and refuses to give you any actual correct info.
So, you sit down in the car and he tells you to start the engine, right? - You’re like, "Wait, how?" but he just won't tell you. Then you try to mess with the AC vent... - and boom, he hits you with a slap. After a million tries, you finally figure out where the key goes... you go to turn it, and he slaps you again.
How on earth are you supposed to know you need to shift into neutral or hit the clutch if it's already in gear?
....and actually getting the damn car moving? I mean, you'd be totally screwed trying to figure that out on your own.
Or knowing that you have to press the clutch when you're shifting gears....
There is zero chance you’d ever wrap your head around it unless someone actually sat you down and explained it!
Look, I’m all for abortion rights, but I honestly wouldn't want to ever be in a spot where I'm forcing myself—or anyone else—into that kind of decision.
Yesterday, while I was feeling totally high, it finally clicked.
It felt like everyone was just constantly breathing down my neck, telling me stuff like, "Don't do that"
"Don't touch this," or "Don't go there"
"That's just not how you act in public"
and all that noise...
But honestly? Nobody actually sat me down and showed me what the right way to behave even looks like... I don't even know how to put it into words. .... And because of that, I've just been stuck in this total funk—I'm feeling super low, I can't even look people in the eye, I'm just frozen up constantly, and I can't find any way to chill out. Even when I'm out by myself, I'm just physically tense. I can't relax for anything.
The bottom line is—I feel like I have no clue how to react to basically 99% of what happens in life.

So, did you actually pull that off, or did the whole thing just fail to achieve its true purpose? And what happened, did they shut down the local Starbucks so you couldn't make it to coffee?
and p.s. you're pretty cute 🙂 😍 👍
My answer is basically what I said before: yeah, I got the attention... but it was the depressing kind that just ends up weighing you down even more.

Nah, I don't have winter tires on and my car is too low to the ground to handle any snow.

Maybe, but—honestly, looking in the mirror yesterday I just felt totally disgusted with myself and that was the breaking point, I just snapped! That’s why I cut myself,
but my old man stopped me. It wasn't like I called 911 or anything... he just offered me some Xanax to try and calm me down...
