it's just ridiculous 🙂
I mean, how can I not be pissed when you're out here flirting? 😉 😉

What’s he gonna do, write me a ticket?
I was thinking more along the lines of elementary school training—but hey, whatever☕
Besides, I can't even find a single word with an apostrophe in it😁
Fair enough. I guess I was one of those geniuses who skipped grades, so maybe I skipped that part too? 😉
Signs don't have apostrophes, Thomas Miller80! Have you ever even seen an apostrophe on a sign?

You can't charge someone with speeding without actual evidence...
Just wrote it down? How is he gonna cite him if there isn't an official report? That guy's a total joke.

The saga continues. My coworker went to check today to see if any actual charges had been filed yet. So far? Absolutely nothing in the system. All we can find is some speeding ticket from back in October that’s just sitting there waiting for a judge—I only even looked up how to file an appeal just to see what the process was like. If nothing has popped up since last Friday, I doubt anything ever will. Seriously though, what the hell is even happening?😲
Not sure if this is the right spot for this, but I didn't want to risk starting a whole new thread.
Long story short. On Friday, I had a run-in with a total jerk cop.
Basically, I was driving out of Chicago toward a smaller town, and near the TVIm facility, I decided to pass two cars right where the line was broken. One of them happened to be a cop car. There was also another car behind me before I made the move. Since it was 5:30 PM and pitch black out, I wasn't even paying attention to what kind of cars they were. Who actually looks at brands when they aren't expecting something to go wrong?
Anyway, I pass them and keep going, picking up a little speed—nothing crazy. Suddenly, near the turnoff, there’s a patrol car behind me. I pull over, and this cop hops out and starts claiming I passed three cars on a solid line. His explanation was totally nonsensical; he wasn't even using legal terms, just getting all worked up and repeating that I "need to fix my driving." My friend was in the car with me, just sitting there looking pale. Basically, he grabbed my license and registration and walked back to his cruiser (he didn't even tell me to wait). After a while, he comes back, hands me my papers, turns around, and heads back to his car without saying a word. When I asked him to explain what violation I actually committed or what the fine would be, he just told me everything would come in the mail. He didn't give me anything to sign or anything. Honestly, the whole thing felt super shady.
I know for a fact the part about the number of cars is a lie (I can count to three, thanks), but I'm not 100% sure about the solid line. There's a solid line about a couple hundred yards further down by the Octanova gas station.
I'm definitely planning to fight this, and my friend offered to go to court with me to back up my story. Everything he said was completely irrational, and she's certain it wasn't a solid line and that I definitely didn't pass two cars.

There might be some truth to that! From what I've seen with certain girls, it's like they actually do swell up a bit once they start getting active.
He's such a loser that even viruses won't touch him 😬

Man, you just don't know how to have fun.
Remember when they almost sent me into surgery because they mistook my severe gastritis for appendicitis? Thank God a smarter surgeon showed up for the shift, gave me some Pepto, and sent me straight home.
It’s like once you actually start staring at that big intelligence test, your brain just completely shuts down.
Now they really ought to throw another one our way to see if we’re still this clueless 🙂 🙂
This FOX test is absolute garbage. First off, it tests vocabulary using obscure words that nobody actually uses—I was sitting there wondering how on earth I'm supposed to know if "whirlygig" means brave or something else.
And that general knowledge section at the end totally bombed. Since when does knowing where the Olympics are held have anything to do with your IQ? Makes zero sense.
The way they set up their website is just stupid, too. The timer starts the second the instructions pop up, so most people don't even get a chance to actually read what they're supposed to do. I've taken plenty of different intelligence tests before, and they always give you a proper walkthrough with examples before the clock starts ticking. Honestly, this test has nothing to do with actual IQ.
Also, puzzles should be part of an intelligence test—I did something similar once where I had to identify the surface of a 3D geometric shape. But even those fail here because, again, there's no explanation of the task.
Anyway, I got a 101-109 on FOX, but on every other test I've ever taken, my score hasn't dropped below 130-150.
