R. I. P. Glenn Ford... in Movies ·
Glenn Ford, a true cinematic icon and the quintessential Hollywood tough guy, passed away yesterday in L.A. at age 90 following a fatal stroke. For me, he’ll always be defined by those classic Westerns rather than his more recent work. Let's use this thread to honor one of the final legends of the Wild West... 🙏

Venom is slated for the third installment, while this is for the fourth. 🙄 Besides, what's wrong with Carnage?...😁

Pair this with an episode of The Grand Budapest Hotel and you'll finally see what I mean about those sunsets... 😈

I didn't even notice the mole, honestly... But Jodie Foster wasn't just playing a part in a wheelchair. 😬 Besides, Jodie actually uses garter belts... 😁

And that is exactly why streaming services are winning. 😁

Getting some air, stretching the legs, maybe hitting the restroom...

Has anyone actually seen Killer? 😬There's a compelling scene involving a sniper who can't move an inch, thanks to nature calling and an empty bottle... 😁

The membership fee is $17 per month for each subforum.

If you're interested, just let me know and I'll send over the routing number for the transfer 😬

Let's throw in some heavy fines too; anyone who gets banned should have to pay $33 if they want back in. 😁 We set up a thread for the rules and we'll be millionaires by next year... 😁

Anthony Davis6 said:Good luck finding enough people for a poll. They stopped printing quality Spider-Man comics ages ago. The last thing that actually came out regularly and was worth reading was "The Almanac"... man, those were the days...

Yeah, it’s been a long time... 😢 That’s why I went through the trouble of including links for every single villain, just to make things easier...

The worst part is they always decide to take a break at the exact wrong moment, right when things are finally getting good. 😠

I’ve always had a soft spot for the villains in superhero stories: Abomination, The Gremlin, Doc Sampson, Skeleton, Venom, Abomination. It isn't just their pure malice or their drive to tear down this broken world; it’s the sheer creativity behind them. Powers like Morbius's vampirism, the physical presence of Venom, or the grit of Tombstone...

Since I have some time on my hands, I decided to indulge a bit of an obsession with Spider-Man's rogues' gallery. There are hundreds of them, so I won't list every single one, but here are the heavy hitters. Let me know which villain you'd actually want to see show up in a new Spider-Man film.

1.Beetle
2.Boomerang
3.Cardiac
4.Carnage
5.Carrion
6.Chameleon
7.Chance
8.Demogoblin
9.Electro
10.Hammerhead
11.Hobgoblin
12.Hydro-Man
13.Jackal
14.Lizard
15.Morbius
16.Mysterio
17.Puma
18.Rhino
19.Scorpion
20.Shocker
21.Tombstone
22.Vermin 23.
23.Vulture

nimblecrane20 said:this is the only musical I could actually stomach (it’s a great film; that Chicago garbage doesn't even come close)
but regarding Escape Room—do you really think that lesbian Foster actress is better than Cate Blanchett???

I think so... 🙂

At least there's a silver lining: she broke her leg during filming, which saved us from having to see her in Escape Room... 😁
Radio City Music Hall in Movies ·
It’s a decent musical, but there are certainly better ones out there. I’m not even a fan of Leonardo DiCaprio, not even in Star Wars. And the soundtrack just doesn't hit the mark for me—it lacks the impact of the music during the Yakuza massacre in Kill Bill or that opening sequence in Full Throttle. 😁
Roger Ebert's health is declining in Movies ·
So, we’re actually discussing movies and acting here, rather than obsessing over famous critics. I didn't lose any sleep when Mel Gibson had his issues, or when Charles Bronson passed away from lung cancer... and so on. But this critic? Never heard of him. 🙄

northernscout9 said:I'm not sure if anyone else noticed that the famous American critic Roger Ebert has been in the hospital for quite some time. He had to undergo emergency surgery for a tumor and his recovery has been slow. In the meantime, the Chicago Sun-Times has already cycled through three different critics to fill his spot—it seems he’s stuck...

And who cares? 🤔 I think you've seriously misread the room on this topic...
