They clearly didn't read the fine print before signing up.

I mean, honestly, what sane person would do this without a paycheck? 😁

🤣

Then again, we all get paid in "exposure"... wait, is this the Prime Minister's thread? No, nope, my mistake... 🙂

Alright, alright... don't get your blood pressure up just yet. My bad. 🙂 And look, you have a point, to some extent. 🙂

But seriously, those two topics have been dragged out and repeated dozens of times now. They've basically become a running joke at this point. 😁

There's always this nagging question hanging in the air:

1. Are the admins snooping through users' private messages? For the record: NO.
2. Do the moderators get paid? Again, NO! (Or do they? 🤣)

Okay, I won't completely dismiss the second one... strictly as a concept for the future... 🤣

But think about it. Why on earth would admins—who clearly struggle to decide if they'd rather manage the site, answer user questions, moderate, super-moderate, live their actual lives, or even just breathe—spend hours reading what Mary and Stephanie are gossiping about regarding their outfits for the next forum meetup? 😁 Sure, reporting an indecent post or an offensive comment from the Prime Minister is a thing. But that only happens when a user voluntarily reports something... it doesn't mean we're digging through everyone's private inboxes.

If anyone tried to give me the option to go rooting through people's business—as in, if such a feature even existed—I’d tell them to go straight to hell. I mean it. Out of all the junk I have to read every single day, the last thing I need is the private chats of strangers that I don't care about (the conversations, not necessarily the people... okay, sometimes both 😁).

So, just chill... nobody is reading your DMs.

Seriously, if someone actually wants to end it all, they should go find something tall and jump onto something hard instead of trying to stage some grand, dramatic final scene right here on this forum.
And honestly, anyone who feels the need to act like this—well, they really ought to have a little disclaimer in their signature note stating that they are, by their own design, nothing more than a pompous fool.

They’ve gone straight to hell. It has nothing to do with how we grew up. Aside from the occasional outlier—the kind that actually makes me feel a little guilty for laughing... but whatever—there are just 212 different flavors of garbage sitting underneath the old

Modern "parody" has basically devolved into taking ten scenes from ten different blockbusters and just distorting them until they look grotesque. Sometimes they even pull it off, but it’s always the same damn formula. Parody shouldn't just be about mocking other movies... it shouldn't start with that, and it certainly shouldn't end there. It's like a game of telephone—one guy did it once, and now every amateur hack is running right behind him.

George Murphy3, also known as Titus2, or whatever number of guest workers we had before he was nuked—which is why we're even talking about this—aka those guys living in the diaspora. And that’s after months of putting up with his constant, annoying little jokes🤦 about those Canadian women🙄 scattered all over the diaspora
.
hollowtrucker77 said:Can we get something concrete?
Like that stuff about the Canadians, or some other link/example?

Of course not. My clone and I are busy scrubbing every single trace of our carefully planned Sundays so nobody realizes our entire purpose in life is just picking fights with people like George Murphy3 and making their lives miserable... ☕

Well... on top of everything Emily Kim67 mentioned, I honestly can't believe someone gets away with such blatant, disgusting insults without being slapped down... 🤷
Everything can change. If you actually want it to. I know, sounds like a cheap motivational cliché, right? But it’s the truth. Sure, sometimes it feels impossible. It feels like hitting a brick wall. When you’re an adult, it’s even more of a nightmare because you're already set in your ways, but it can be done. Now, let’s be real: some core traits are permanent. Your fundamental nature—who you are at your very soul—that doesn't budge. But everything else? All those habits, behaviors, and patterns shaped by life or broken by bad circumstances? That can all be overhauled. Sometimes, you just have to do it because there isn't any other way out.

Look, I’m not trying to step on Sash's toes here, but my suggestion—and I’ve included the links below—is to just shoot a private message to the moderators managing that PDF. Let them decide if it needs to be scrubbed or if it’s already been quoted five hundred times and we should just settle on a deal with you. 🙂

A little nugget of wisdom for you: watch what you type... because you can't always take it back. It’s not that the Reddit staff doesn't want to help, it’s simply that... they can't. 🙂

Look, placidfox55, I hate to be the one to blow a fuse, but here's the thing:

THANKSGIVING
placidfox55 said:Alright, what are the plans??? 🙂 🙂 🙂

..but honestly, this shouldn't be its own standalone thread. What is actually in this intro post that would somehow insult the USA topic or—in my opinion—just doesn't belong in the main chat? With all due respect to the holiday, what else is there to say besides 🙂 and who stuffed their turkey or whose house everyone gathered at? That’s it.

If we follow that logic, in three weeks we'll be seeing:

CHRISTMAS - DENMARK!
Alright! What's the plan? 🙂

CHRISTMAS - ENGLAND!
Alright! What's the plan? 🙂

CHRISTMAS - UZBEKISTAN!
Alright! What's the plan? 🙂

Why can't everyone just stick to the chat topic instead of being a bunch of busybodies celebrating each other's holidays? 🤷

In my experience, you shouldn't be touching any psychotropic medication—unless it’s some useless little nothing like Normabal—without a psychiatrist signing off on it. You can't just have some random GP or a local family doctor scribbling prescriptions for heavy-duty stuff. It's ridiculous. 😁)

If you think you’re actually going to score some Xanax from a dealer—and I mean the absolute bare minimum dosage that would make a saint weep—you’re dreaming. You might as well stop hoping altogether while you wait for the inevitable end.
I honestly can't decide if I want them to see the light or just keep stumbling in the dark... maybe I actually enjoy watching them fail. 🤔

Robert Collins2 said:Velafax is basically their latest big push, though I honestly call it 'horse tranquilizer' because man, that stuff hits hard—I really think it might do the trick for you. 😁 But seriously, how are you even holding up with that much benz in your system? Do you ever get that creeping fear that you’re just swapping one addiction for another? Trust me, I know firsthand how brutal that mental dependency gets. I used to be a total wreck—shaking, panicking, feeling like my brain was actually melting if I wasn't on at least half a pill. I honestly owe my psychiatrist big time for being so firm with me when she had to step in; since then, every single time we've tapered my dose, it's been a massive uphill battle, but hey, I'm still standing.

I have to agree.

Seriously, how does anyone even function on that much benzos? It’s mind-boggling.

Look, you have to account for the tolerance that builds up over twenty years. It’s a real thing. For example: if Peri is having one of his hysterical meltdowns, he probably just needs one dose of Valium to calm down. Me? I’d need five doses plus whatever else happens to be lying around—roach killer, liquid soap, maybe even a poisoned dart if I could find one. And then there's the result: Peri would be skipping around like a manic kid celebrating Manitu, while I’d just head home, still absolutely livid. It’s pathetic, but that’s the reality. The body learns. And my body is more stubborn than a street pole and tougher than Xena, so I suppose that counts for something. 😬

Do you ever worry that your old addiction is just going to swap places with this one? I know firsthand just how brutal that psychological dependency on medication can be. I’ve been there—shaking, consumed by anxiety, feeling like I was losing my mind if I didn't have half a pill in my system. It felt like a constant, looming threat. Honestly, I owe a massive debt to my psychiatrist; she gave me the firm push I needed when it mattered most. Since then, every single dose reduction has been a battle, but a winning one.

Not even close. Compared to anything else out there, this is absolute garbage. It’s like comparing a gourmet steak to a lukewarm cup of chamomile tea. 🙂

Full disclaimer upfront: I’m not a fan of pills. It isn’t even about the fear of getting hooked; it’s just that I hate throwing money down the drain. But then you hit those days where your doctor basically gives you an ultimatum: "Either take the medication, or get used to scratching your back in a padded room." So, fine. I take them. I grind through it for a month or two, and then? Everything goes right back to how it was. Mostly.

Michael Reed45 said:I actually wanted to ask you—how was it for you when you first started FedEx? 🙂

Wait, do you take the normal dose on day 15? Or are you already on the higher 2mg ones? 😁

The Law 😁

Hold on, are you taking 15mg on the 15th? Or are you dealing with those higher doses, like the 2mg ones? 😁

No way, I take three 10mg pills... okay, fine, sometimes I take a little more... 😬

but never more than 10

And let me be clear: I only take them during treatment periods. I don't just pop pills for fun—at least not these. It’s not like I'm doing this 365 days a year. I only take them when absolutely necessary, like a side dish to my main meal. A month or two, and then I stop entirely.
