Oh, please... what are you even talking about, Henry Cox78? 😬

The way I see it, we’re all still just spinning our wheels and working ourselves into the ground for nothing... 😁

Since even the super-mod has weighed in, I’d really appreciate it if we could just lock this thread—unless, of course, the admins or other mods have something else to throw into the ring. We need to shut this down because the debate that got killed in the original thread is already starting to migrate over here.

...not only is she laughing, but she's actually... must television opening sequel...

...there are at least two reasons:

The series finale aired yesterday, and we’re already seeing reruns today; therefore, the show is far too fresh to consider the topic closed...

Either NBC or Discovery will most likely rerun the series. Does that mean we’ll finally be allowed to open a new discussion thread? Interest is bound to be massive. If the answer is yes—and it almost certainly is—then the current restriction is completely senseless and hits the very heart of the problem...

Regarding the reasoning: both the users and the moderators create the topic. Therefore, it reflects both parties equally...

Oh, really? Is that so? 😕

Regarding the reasoning behind this: both the users and the moderators create the tema. It’s a mirror reflecting both sides equally.

Regarding the explanation—look, over the last two weeks, users have submitted more than 50 reports on this specific thread. And that doesn't even account for the posts that weren't reported at all, but were instead moderated manually or after the fact. If you ask me, this whole situation is a perfect reflection of the topic itself.

The only thing actually proven on this tema is that none of you know how to have a constructive conversation. At least not when it comes to this series. Credit where credit is due to the exceptions, of course, but they are such a tiny minority that it’s practically criminal.

The show is over. Honestly, if we hadn't been hit with a sudden flood of twelve new posts this morning on a thread that’s already stretched over three pages, it might have actually stayed alive for a bit longer. But now? It's officially closed.

It’s a sad, sad story... and honestly, I totally get where you're coming from. The thread stays open regardless. 😁

Usually, when a show wraps up but the thread stays live, it’s because the series was a massive hit and the community, for lack of a better term, earned the right to keep the conversation going. This particular topic doesn't meet either of those criteria.

And look, we aren't going to sit here and tolerate another thousand pages of people insulting, trolling, whining, reporting posts, or picking fights with Ezel and whoever else in a thread dedicated to a show that's already over.
I lost my thread in the psychology sub. in Feedback & Suggestions ·
It’s my bad that I didn't shoot you a PM yet; I fully intended to, I just haven't found the breathing room. As for the topic at hand—honestly, if I had any say in the matter, I’d move it elsewhere in a heartbeat. It definitely doesn't belong in Psychology. Every single one of these professions acts incredibly arrogant, constantly playing God and... I don't even know, Stella. 🤷

Carl Jackson85 said:So, here’s the deal with Lexus: it’s officially indicated for treating depression, OCD, or PTSD. They even use it to manage OCD in kids starting at age six. Just to be clear, though—these aren't sleeping pills or some quick sedative to take the edge off. The pitch is that Lexus can help you feel better and tackle the anxiety that often hitches a ride with depression... and that’s basically the official line from the pharmaceutical companies making them. As for the side effects? Most of what they list is pretty much the same stuff you see with any other antidepressant. I’m not going to bore you by listing them all here because, honestly, most of it feels trivial. Besides, let's be real: you’re never going to read about the *actual* nasty side effects in the official pamphlet. From a purely business standpoint, the manufacturers wouldn't find it profitable to explain those using plain English. Bottom line? If you want my two cents, stay as far away from those pills as you possibly can. They aren't going to "cure" anything. And whether they actually make an existing condition worse? Well, that's a whole different conversation. Look, I’ll be blunt: I fall into that group of people who have spent a hell of a lot of time dealing with psychotropic drugs and seeing firsthand how they work—or how they backfire. So, if anyone actually wants to dig into the reality of a specific medication or a diagnosis, feel free to reach out. Cheers.

Thanks... my mom tried telling me it was just ADHD, but honestly, I feel like I got run over by a Humvee. I still haven't quite come to my senses (9 hours and 99 coffees later... 🤔 )

Guys, what exactly is Lexus? I have this nagging feeling that I made a massive mistake when I accidentally swallowed one of them this morning... :i see dead people:

It looks just like my regular pills, so I didn't think twice before taking it, but my aunt pulled that e-reader out of the box and now she isn't even answering my texts to tell me what on earth it's actually for...
Why was my thread deleted in Psychology? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
First off, my bad—I completely missed this thread, otherwise I would've jumped in sooner.

Regarding the subject at hand: over in the psychology subforum, you started a discussion claiming that mental illnesses are just "social constructs." Do you honestly not see why that’s such a massive problem?

Morgan Watson6 said:I’m lodging a formal complaint against the moderator, ambermason16!
I want the topic "can marijuana control someone's life" to be properly promoted so we can look at the facts objectively.
Every single thing I write gets deleted under the guise of "trolling" or whatever, when it’s blindingly obvious the only reason is because we disagree. Apparently, the moderator thinks they have the right to wipe my posts just because I hold a different opinion.
Furthermore, there's something else glaringly obvious here: it's highly likely the moderator personally knows this user maher18, because not a single one of their posts has been touched so far. Meanwhile, everything of mine gets scrubbed—including the post where I laid out actual facts and arguments to counter the endless nonsense maher18 spews while pretending to be a medical expert (a psychiatrist...). This person keeps dropping inaccurate claims that are frankly beyond belief. Like that ridiculous claim that no dealer would ever want weed decriminalized because they'd actually have to pay taxes.
If you're going to jump into a conversation acting like an expert when you clearly don't know the first thing about the subject, you should at least do your homework.
That’s why I had to step in and explain what decriminalization actually means, and then today, clarify why a dealer wouldn't suddenly start paying taxes if weed were legalized (using a very vivid analogy), because I honestly cannot wrap my head around how one person—who I assume is over 30 given they claim to be a medical pro, specifically a psychiatrist treating "kids with brain holes," as they put it—can be so incredibly dense. To avoid being rude, I'll just say it's the reality of the situation. They're posting absolute garbage, and I certainly didn't write those things publicly when I was fifteen. It's embarrassing.
So, my question and my grievance is this: why does the moderator, ambermason16, feel entitled to delete hard facts every time I present them, instead of deleting
the blatant lies and stupidity posted by maher18, which are based entirely on a complete lack of knowledge regarding this topic??????
All I am asking for is a truly objective look at the matter.
Thanks.

Well, I guess I'll just complain about high heating bills then!

...And I already answered your PM regarding why your off-topic rambling and trolling got wiped. I won't even bother commenting on the rest of your post; it speaks for itself.

And yes, you're hijacking the thread. Again.

Ugh... now I’m feeling guilty.. :nje:

silentridge3, you’re a smart kid (and I’m not being patronizing, I truly mean it)... you know how to hit where it hurts, you’re articulate when you actually care—you hit the nail right on the head. Because of that, you are more than welcome here at the Television Network. You’ve even started several threads that were successful enough that none of the mods had to touch them..

Your only real issue is that you seriously need to chill out! It isn't true that every single thread you start is going to get shut down unless there's an actual, objective reason for it. If you have an idea for a "serious topic" (that's just my way of simplifying things), who's stopping you from posting it? I'll take the liberty of speaking for my colleagues when I say it won't be closed as long as it follows the rules of the Forum and its subforums.

What you simply cannot do is:
- Trash the entire Television Network population just because the topics they pick aren't to your taste or because you think their posts are stupid.
- Claim that this whole Television Network consists of nothing but mindless emojis and whining... besides being insulting to the members, it's unfair to the seven or eight of us working like dogs to make this subforum better and clear out all the "garbage"
- And this nonsense about seasons..

You can't demand that the entire subforum bends to your will. Especially not in the way you're trying to do. What you *can* do is contribute constructively to bring the place closer to what you want it to be.

Guga, you were the one doing all the talking... we were just doing our jobs by responding... while everyone else just sat there ignoring it. Honestly, lucky them.

lots of people following this series treat it like "seasons"

At this point, I am genuinely ready to open my wallet... just so we can finally put an end to this whole "season" scam once and for all.

I could sit here and argue, try to negotiate, or explain how repeatedly insulting and belittling every single person on these TV forums is completely unacceptable in any context, but it would just bounce off you like hitting a brick wall. So, I’ll stick to this:

No, seriously—I will give you the money... just please, stop. 🙂

I’ll gladly consider walking away from this thread if you can actually explain one thing to me... what on earth are you even rambling about? 😬

Oh, great... so this is the part where you expect me to sit here and slog through your latest long-winded ranting and raving session?

Everything has already been laid out for you. To be more precise: everything regarding your own behavior and your posts has been explained—with one minor exception. That "cardboarding principle" we talk about is largely dictated by the software settings. Basically, when I hand you a card for trolling, it usually means I could have gone even harder if I wanted to. It’s like choosing whether to hit someone with a sledgehammer or a mallet; most of the time, instead of giving you a heavy 100-point penalty for relentlessly hunting for arguments, I might just give you a 35. Or maybe you were just trolling. 😁.

As for everyone else and their posts... that’s none of my business. :

Nicole Turner35 said:(....)And now I’m just going to go for it. 😁 (Hopefully I don't get a warning for trolling since I just posted this—is it off-topic?)

Bottom line: if I drop this, you're looking at a penalty of over 100 points and a three-day timeout. Should I actually pull the trigger, or have we already wasted enough energy stirring up drama on this thread?
BPD Psychology PDF Resources in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I’ll jump in here too. Even though vividorca9 and Lisa Hernandez3 have already laid everything out—honestly, they did a better job than I ever could. So, here it is:

1. People only get banned when their posts actually cross a line.

Nicole Turner35 said:Okay, so now Harry has been banned. And who does that actually help? 🤷
Look, I am an involved party here; I deal with BPD.

So, let's just draw some parallels... since everyone wants to act like a saint on this thread...
Yeah, sure, I feel for what Julian Assange went through (he's only just started writing his account, just a tiny bit), but that is absolutely no excuse to turn a blind eye to what he's doing here.

That bolded text is a massive insult to anyone's intelligence.
I pulled this one sentence from a recent post, but the same tired argument has been dragged through here for ages. From what I can see on Reddit, it’s been going on for years.
Anyone who has even glanced at this topic on this forum can see that NOT all these women have BPD. To say otherwise isn't just a generalization; it’s a slap in the face to every woman out there married to some jerk who beats her. Or beats her kids.

Basically, you walk up to a woman lying in the ER with broken ribs, a smashed nose, and a black eye, and tell her: "It's your fault because you probably have BPD.".

That kind of garbage claim that "violence against women doesn't exist" has been left standing here without any consequences. And it's not the first time someone has typed it. It honestly makes me sick. I'm far from being a feminist—you could probably call me a total chauvinist—but it is unbelievable that this stuff is allowed to pass here.

I mean, just go ahead and pet a woman when you feel like it; she's obviously a BPD sufferer the moment you even feel the urge to hit her, right? Apparently, her mere existence is enough to justify attacking her.

Good grief. 🤦 🤦 🤦>

EDIT: Under all of Harry's bans, the reason given is always "trolling."
But is it not trolling to type out how BPD women are exclusively to blame for domestic violence, and how "violence against women doesn't exist"??
Give me a break...
Lisa Hernandez3 has, at least, moderated this thread fairly.

btw. just a heads up: every single post after this warning is getting a strike.

3. Other people's strikes and bans aren't your concern.
