My head is absolutely throbbing; it feels like my entire DNA is vibrating at a quantum level. Honestly, you’re better off listening to Govana or Satriania. Even Zele holds more weight than that overrated violinist. 😁 I wouldn't go for Elizabeth Jackson. Honestly, I'm getting pretty disillusioned with these online romances. 🧐
If you check out the cancer treatment thread over in the Alternative Medicine section—which was recently locked—you’ll see he was actually the one who started pointing fingers. He claimed we were responsible for his neighbor's death just because she read this forum and naively trusted us instead of getting life-saving chemo. His post came first, so he's the one who initiated the accusations. He’s claiming her diet followed our recommendations, which isn't even true; he later admitted she was mostly eating milk, fish, and grains. It's nothing but slander.
That topic has been circling for years. There wasn't a single starting point; it just goes in loops.
I highly doubt he meant that literally. It was probably just a figure of speech or a comparison, but people in the alternative medicine crowd tend to drift into fantasy quite often. 👍 Anyway, I'm not about to go digging through those pseudo-scientific ramblings just to fact-check him right now. 🤷

Look, I'm not suggesting her moderation is biased because of that. That's a stretch.
Besides, half the admin team is practically family anyway—not that there's blatant favoritism going on with the ŽuD crew or that whole Anderlonov clan, but I think people are overthinking it.
And so what? No one picks their relatives, and the forum is open to everyone. 👍
You can't be a moderator if you aren't sane. Anyone posting on the fringe subreddits clearly isn't sane. Outside moderators will bail on that local crew in no time.
I guess the only thing left is some barefoot pilgrimage to Fatima or something—staring at the sun, I don't know.😳
Andrew Wells58 said:But if we all start using adblockers because certain ads make this place basically unusable, how is the site actually going to make money?
That’s really an issue for whoever is choosing the ads. Maybe they aren't even tracking impressions, but just paying based on raw traffic—I don't know and I don't really care. The sheer volume of ads passed the point of being reasonable a long time ago. At this stage, any "ethical" concerns about the forum's financial sustainability feel a bit moot when the user experience is already trashed.🤷
Maybe that post should stay up, maybe not. I don't have the full context and it doesn't really affect me.
But this appeal shouldn't be granted. Even if the post was flagged, it hasn't even been 24 hours yet. According to the rules here, you can only file an appeal regarding a lack of moderator action after waiting a full 24 hours following the initial report. You report it, wait a day to see if anyone steps in, and only then can you complain about inaction.
Given your post count and how long you've been registered, I'd assume you know how this works.🤔
You’re missing the point. I’ve seen people go through the exact same thing after just a few trips—just like a friend of mine who hit the same state during a kundalini process after years of meditating twelve hours a day and fasting more than eating.
You're overstating the impact of self-induced or innate neurochemical imbalances.
Claiming this is all cult influence is a classic tactic, but it doesn't hold up. These same experiences and "revelations" are found among everyone in the spiritual scene, whether they stayed in a sect or left them behind. The only difference is that some people apply critical thinking, while others just refuse to grow up and stay stuck in a fantasy world.
I mean, does it not speak for itself? Either the guy is useless or he’s lost his mind.
The ego always needs some kind of validation. If you can't actually accomplish anything useful, you tell yourself you're important just because you have a certain "vibe" or whatever.😁
You’re dreaming of a mountain getaway funded by some wealthy husband, but the guy has three other girlfriends and is just relieved to be hiding out in the middle of nowhere somewhere.

Then again, any religion could be called a sect once it gets big enough to outgrow the label. [Though "cult" might be more accurate depending on how you look at it]
So yeah, calling them sects is pretty much unavoidable.
