Kevin Chavez3 : Man, seriously... Turning down Electric Frankenstein just because of that garbage...
🙂
Since you guys are being like this, I guess your punishment will be watching the whole concert through a shaky cell phone stream. You and Selak included! 😈

Man, Bio. Gutbucket was totally wasted (seriously, someone get that sax player out of there!) but the Sunset Strip set absolutely crushed it. That guy from Enon did such an incredible job. Ahhh, man, life is just so good living here in Los Angeles!😁

Honestly, I can’t think of a worse insult to throw at Mudhoney. Maybe calling them some obscure garage band from the Midwest...

Total respect.
By the way, I just picked up "Quartet" and "Vienna" by Ultravox, and both records are absolutely fantastic. I'd highly recommend them to everyone!
It’s funny how a one-hit wonder can actually make someone's life a total mess—I guess it's enough to make a person want to change their phone number entirely! Such an incredibly catchy hit, though.
Kevin Chavez3 said:That’s just not quite right. Sure, 128 kbps can work, but it doesn't mean it'll actually sound good—it really all comes down to the encoder used. Most of them, in my experience, just don't cut it; the drums end up sounding terrible, especially the snare and the cymbals. It honestly sounds like a chewed-up cassette tape.
Or, as I think someone on a forum once put it, it's like the cymbals turn into dried leaves. 🙂
I can't help but feel drawn to The Kinks—specifically "Village Green Preservation Society" and "I Nilsonov Smile." They just seem to command my attention lately. Such absolute classics.
The Cure - Pornography / Disintegration. I guess there’s just something about those moments when you’ve been listening to absolute masterpieces on fuzzy, lo-fi cassette tapes for years, and then suddenly you get your hands on a high-quality CD. Suddenly, all those high frequencies pop, and the albums just start to shine like polished chrome.

I mean, maybe you just really enjoy eating those hamburgers made of dried cat puke? 😕
