Thanks so much, guys, for being so thoughtful and looking out for everyone else! Honestly, there are way easier ways to get this done, and I feel like I’m just making things harder on myself for no reason at all 👍
You could go with something like Adobe Premiere Elements or maybe just stick to a basic editor you find online, though those free versions can be a total drag sometimes! And honestly, there's definitely a bit of a learning curve involved if you actually want to make something look decent.
I was messing around with my study habits back in college, which meant I ended up taking two years to finish my freshman year and three years for my sophomore year.
Usually, the students who drag their feet through university end up passing everything on the first try—first year, second year, third year—because everyone keeps telling them the third year is the hardest, and the fourth is a nightmare if you even make it that far.
At the start of my junior year, I sat down and mapped out a precise schedule for every single exam. Honestly? At no point did I even consider the possibility of failing. I left the most brutal exam for the very last session, leaving myself a mere eight days to cram the entire curriculum.
I was absolutely convinced that I could just summon every single thing I had ever read right when I needed it.
While studying, I had this uncanny ability to pinpoint exactly what mattered and ignore all the useless filler. Why waste energy on things that don't count?
And wouldn't you know it? It worked perfectly. I breezed through my junior year on the first attempt.
I used all sorts of visualization techniques too, but I really don't feel like getting into all that right now.😉
During one single semester, I managed to breeze through four exams without getting a single grade lower than a B! I truly never doubted for a second that I would pass them all, though I have to admit, I never quite managed to replicate that kind of streak again 🙂
Thomas Miller10 said:Success isn't caused by decisions alone; it's the byproduct of solid choices, desire, and a positive mindset. But those aren't the root cause. If there isn't extreme motivation, hard work, and a genuine hunger to follow through when you make a valid decision, then the decision itself is useless. Maybe the goals are too big, too demanding, or even impossible (like finding a million dollars on the sidewalk tomorrow)... maybe things just won't happen because of some higher power, or maybe it's just not your turn to get those Nike sneakers, but someone else's... if you catch my drift. Maybe your purpose in life isn't being a bank executive or being fit and ripped... whatever you try, you might never hit that specific mark. But even then, you'll be rich in experience. You'll learn from your mistakes, discover new perspectives, and always know that you tried, that you gave it your all... and that makes you worthy. Besides, maybe that choice wasn't actually right for you, or maybe the timing was off, or perhaps something even better is waiting down the road... you just have to recognize it. And you don't necessarily have to sacrifice one thing to get another... you can have it all, within reasonable limits and your own capabilities. You say you were more decisive as a child? Not really. It's just that back then, decisions weren't based on what to wear for my Barbie doll, or whether I should sit next to Ana or Iva at lunch...
Oh, absolutely not—when I was a kid, I was making perfectly SOUND decisions, but now it feels like I'm just constantly making TERRIBLE ones or setting goals that are totally out of reach. Such a wonderful post!

Every single day, you tell yourself what you want while looking in the mirror. Setting a deadline and knowing exactly what you're after is vital. Repeat it constantly. They say once you do, your subconscious starts working on the solution itself.
Have you ever actually tried doing this in real life?
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve heard people claim that achieving anything in life—whether you’re aiming to drop some weight, kick the smoking habit, or climb the corporate ladder to become the CEO of a major firm like JPMorgan Chase—is strictly a matter of willpower and making a choice.
Honestly, it used to sound incredibly naive to me, but as I get older, I find myself nodding along because it feels more true every single day! I’m curious, what’s your take on all this?
It really feels like if we didn't succeed at something, it's just because we never truly committed to the decision in the first place, which basically means we never actually gave it our all. If you had made a real, firm decision, wouldn't you have fully embraced the challenge and actually followed through?
The reason I'm even bringing this up is that I’ve been reflecting on how much more decisive I was when I was a kid, and looking back, those results were so much better! Now, I feel like I'm entering a phase where I realize so much of my life depends entirely on whether or not I simply decide to make it happen.
I am just so tired of all the constant complaining—you know, the "I can't do this" or "I can't stick to my diet" excuses... honestly, you can do anything! It all just comes down to whether you're willing to sacrifice one thing to gain another, right?
There’s this older gentleman working part-time over at Los Angeles who is just such a nervous wreck, and honestly, he seems like he's constantly looking for any excuse to get rid of everyone as quickly as possible! I really wouldn't recommend dealing with him.
People who find themselves targeted by workplace bullying aren't just random picks at all! In my experience, they are actually either the most sensitive souls or the absolute strongest links in the entire chain.

So, how do women who seem totally confident and self-assured end up in situations where they're being abused by their husbands at home? I actually remember sitting in my therapist's office once and seeing this woman who was a total knockout—just incredibly stunning and overtly feminine in everything from her style to her presence—but she’d never been in a relationship because she felt like she was constantly repelling men; it turns out she had suffered abuse during her childhood, so even though she looked "approachable," people actually perceived her as closed off, and I really believe men can sense that underlying energy no matter what, if that makes any sense at all!
Do you think there was actually a way for her to heal from that? Like, if she looks great and seems accessible on the surface, is there a way to stop attracting guys based on those old traumas?
I honestly feel like you’ve already found the answer deep down inside yourself! It really comes down to what you're putting out into the universe—if you aren't feeling confident in your own skin, you might just end up attracting those types of energy vampires who love to take advantage of others. On the flip side, if you swing too far in the other direction, you'll probably just find people looking for a caretaker to clean up after them, which isn't exactly ideal either because, let's be honest, finding a truly balanced, well-adjusted person is actually the hardest part of the whole game. 🙂 😘
It’s actually quite possible for spotting to happen because of a little hormonal imbalance, even if you're staying consistent with your birth control pills! Or, it could be related to something like PCOS too. There are probably plenty of other reasons behind it, so please don't panic—it doesn't necessarily mean anything scary is going on!
I totally get where you're coming from, because it feels like they’re just drawn to that specific energy we put out there, you know, our overall vibe and attitude.
A predator isn't going to pick a fight in a dark Chicago alleyway with a woman who’s walking with purpose and total confidence. They’re always going to target someone who looks uncertain, someone who’s walking tense and constantly glancing over their shoulder.
Now, sure, you could argue that those types of people are attracted to insecurity. But I’d say it’s more like insecure women actually attract predators. It really just depends on how you look at it, but either way, we're dealing with the exact same issue!
I’ve honestly found myself asking that exact same question more often than I care to admit lately!
It isn't really that people just latch onto us, but rather that we’re the ones actively choosing who we want to hang out with, build friendships with, and let into our inner circles.
If you feel like you're constantly tripping over the same hurdles, it’s probably because that one specific lesson hasn't quite clicked yet. You really have to sit down and figure out WHAT THAT LESSON IS, master it, stop gravitating toward the same old personalities, and start looking for a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CROWD... because I promise you, those new types of people aren't hanging out in the same social bubbles you've been stuck in until now...
I can't tell if I'm just totally overcomplicating things here, though!
It’s definitely a little concerning if you're dealing with a bunch of broken capillaries because those contact lenses just won't sit right on your eyes! It might seem like nothing more than some minor irritation now, but honestly, letting it go could lead to some real trouble down the road.
I see there's already been some chatter about Dr. Tešić—well, specifically about her sister! Honestly, I think the sister is a total airhead. Anyway, quick question: if my appointment is set for 6 PM, does that mean I should actually show up at 4 PM, or can I just roll in at 6 and wait until 8? Any help would be amazing!
What’s her vibe like as a doctor? Is she stingy when it comes to ordering lab work? Besides the Pope, I definitely need a few more tests done, so I'm wondering if she'll just order them or if I'll have to practically beg her for them! How does she feel about referrals for hormone panels?
darkmaker said:Regarding the OBGYN situation, I actually signed up with Dr. Danke Mirić-Tešanić and got to meet the famous Nurse Marina... she was honestly such a sweetheart! I told her I wanted to register since I haven't had a regular gynecologist before, and she was all like, "Of course!" She handed me the intake forms, pointed me toward Social Security, and mentioned I wouldn't be seen until late February. I felt bad and told her I'd already finished everything with Dr. Mazalin, so she just said I could swing by tomorrow for my referrals and prescriptions... I guess she was just having one of those lovely days!
Hey, you are literally reading my mind! Do you happen to know where that new doctor came from? Apparently, she’s super young too... since Marija Gregov isn't practicing there anymore, I just automatically jumped over to Tešanić's office. Believe it or not, I actually managed to snag an appointment for early January! The nurse was incredibly kind on the phone as well, so I'm thinking it might be the same lady.
Has anyone actually met the doctor yet? Also, what are the vibes like at that student health clinic regarding the OBGYN services? The whole reason I signed up there is because I figured it would be way easier to get lab orders and everything handled right on-site... I won't have to drive all over town just to get bloodwork done and stuff like that... or am I totally off base?
