I have a sweet tooth and usually polish off one 100-gram chocolate bar every day. A bar like that can pack up to about 50 grams of sugar. Isn't that pushing it?

Cut back. If you're dealing with an addiction, at least switch to dark chocolate. For instance, a 70% cocoa bar has 33g of carbs, with 28g being sugar.

A 92% cocoa bar has 13g of carbs, with only 7g of sugar.

I went through something similar with low potassium levels, but things leveled out once I started treatment.

I'm wondering if getting vaccinated against smallpox actually provides any protection against Herpes Zoster.

I had a booster shot recently, but based on the external symptoms, it looks like neither one actually "took."

If I recall correctly, a family member has to authorize the autopsy or explicitly opt out, but who really knows what goes down behind closed doors.

Look, we can opt out of organ donation if we want, which basically means we don't want our organs to stay "alive" and functioning inside someone else after we're gone.
But what about the autopsy? They’re still going to make incisions and remove everything anyway—sometimes they don't even put it all back.

It's pretty unlikely we're all heading into the ground completely intact. ☕
