Bad Boys said:No way. Dynamo Kyiv and Shakhtar are leagues above any club from the Peruvian League. Plus, the league itself is much stronger because you have Dnipro and Metalurg in the mix. Honestly, nimblemarlin17, this table is completely nonsensical; it's obvious from an aerial view. Whoever put this together clearly doesn't understand statistics. Statistics can be a TERRIBLE thing to deal with. My sister once took an exam on the subject and failed it twice—it was a total disaster! It's a whole science in itself.
Well, everything is subjective. There's really no need to get worked up about it.
To quote one of my old professors: statistics is like a woman in a bikini; you see everything except for what actually matters. 😬

I don't usually tune into the late games for several reasons. I’m typically commuting to Orlando around that time, so I don't make it back until the second half starts. Plus, once the game wraps up, I'm usually catching the highlights on ESPN, so I prefer watching them 🙏 🙂
Michael Carter6 said:Honestly, FIVE was such a cult classic show. I truly cannot wrap my head around why they thought replacing it with some mediocre clone called Five + was a good idea.
I agree. Five + doesn't even come close to the original FIVE. Personally, I preferred the entire concept of the original show, and even the title felt much more impactful. With a game scheduled this Sunday, that’s plenty of football for one day—especially since there’s usually something playing on the other network anyway, allowing us to catch two matches in a single day.

But have you ever wondered what people ate back in the day? Meat used to be a Sunday-only luxury, while milk and dairy products—like cream or cheese—were likely staples every other day.
How would you rate my game? I might be a bit slow on the draw and my technique isn't exactly textbook, but I make up for it with my positioning—it’s like my passes have eyes of their own😁. I see myself playing as a defensive midfielder.
Oh, and I should mention, I'm pretty solid in the air.

Secondly—the jokes are tasteless and cheap, slightly less funny, but still funny.
Thirdly—the jokes are tasteless and cheap... honestly, what jokes? I barely managed a chuckle about two times during the entire movie.👎
That is essentially how I would put it as well.
One of the few decent jokes is the one involving the KKK, but the rest are just weak and poorly executed.
Great topic👍, though it probably belongs in a different section.
I remember watching that documentary about the Kamikaze pilots. I can't quite recall if the man in question actually survived or if he simply wasn't selected for a mission, but during his interview, he was visibly moved to tears. He felt he hadn't been given the chance to die with the same level of Honor as the other pilots. There was no coercion involved; they truly chose that path for themselves.
Wait, hold on. I’m getting a bit lost now 😕. Is this kind of snacking actually good for you, or is it just bad news? And what exactly are these diseases 😕 we're talking about?
I get those little electric shocks too, though it only seems to happen when I touch the faucet. I’ve actually learned how to deal with it, so it doesn't really bother me anymore.
Now, I think I'll head back and read through that old thread.
Madwoman said:Oh, wonderful. Now if someone else could just chime in with, "Well, they once severed my right hand and blood was spraying everywhere... this isn't actually that bad, don't be scared," then I might finally be able to go to sleep in peace.
My right hand wasn't severed, but I did see something similar in an old movie. I was browsing through some old discs, just taking it easy, when I stumbled upon a scene where they had a guy tied up and started cutting his arm. It was revolting! I tried to click the 'X' to shut it off, but I couldn't click fast enough. Disgusting.
I wouldn't say I have phobias, but I certainly don't enjoy watching graphic injuries unfold. And as for dogs? It isn't a phobia, either; I simply don't care for them.
It was a rather disappointing film. Did anyone else notice that scene involving the tanks firing on the stairs? There wasn't even any damage to the steps. 👎

'Asterix in Britain' is far superior to 'Asterix the Gaul meets Cleopatra.'
Does anyone happen to know when 'Britain' was released? I believe 'Cleopatra' came out around '65.
Tomorrow, I plan to watch 'Against Caesar'... Though, if I'm being honest, my top choice remains 'Asterix's 12 Tasks,' which unfortunately won't be aired. 😢
I second that. 👍
Personally, I find the Asterix and Obelix cartoons much better than the movies. What about all of you?
