hiddencyclist12 said:This thread reminds me of getting a failing grade in school and just acting out because you're convinced the teacher has a grudge against you.🤣🤣🤣

Alex Miller3 said:Heyyy! And apparently, I got a ban just for giving you props, I didn't even notice until now...🤣

Look... nobody handed you out bans like that over the last decade because, well, you weren't throwing insults and calling people names nearly as much as you have these past few months. And where did you even get the idea that we've always talked about Gossip like this?
Every single one of your posts is prickly, rude, and insulting... and no, being "charming" or having that typical snarky attitude isn't an excuse for everything here.
If you really want to maintain that reputation for using such specific, bratty slang, then you’ve gotta deal with the consequences that come with it.
As for splitting up debates... yeah, I totally get why that gets under your skin, probably because you don't bother joining any other threads besides the Gossip ones. But honestly? That's just on you...

There's a grain of truth in there, I suppose.🕺

But regarding the moderation:

Justin Foster45 is probably the most chill moderator we've ever had on John Doe; they actually have a sense of humor and can laugh along with our cynical jokes, while still chipping in with their own 🤷

I honestly doubt they targeted you on purpose. It’s more likely someone just flagged your post, leaving them with no choice but to step in 🤷

casualhound42 said:The animation is top-tier—the voice acting is spot on, too. It’s actually engaging, unlike those dry, lifeless readings you see in most basic cartoons...
The visuals are great. I honestly don't get these trolls claiming the animation is bad—have they even seen our pride and joy, the "Enchanted Forest"??? 🤮

Oh, give me a break. You're really trying to compare the animation in Little Red Riding Hood (2005) to the Enchanted Forest (1986)? 🙄

There's a twenty-year gap between them. image

Jeremy Kim57 said:The third installment really ties everything together—I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing where they go next 🙂 I have to admit, I’ve become quite a fan of the PA series. The first one was great, the second felt a little slow for my taste, but the third was solid. Is there any way we can get a fourth installment sooner? 😲

Since you're such a huge fan, maybe you could walk me through how the trilogy actually connects? I’ve completely lost the thread of what happened in the first two movies. 😁

I’m a little lost on how that ending actually worked.

SPOILER

Was the grandma actually a witch or something at the end? And who is Tobey, and what’s his deal with everything else going on?

I watched the first two movies in the series, but honestly, I don't remember them much at all. How exactly are these films connected? 🤔

Grace Perez37 said:I should probably clarify things... I did finish inside... She WAS a virgin... though we didn't even really have full intercourse... nothing substantial happened... I'm not sure if anything actually came out of me, because honestly, I didn't feel much of anything... and she was supposed to get her period two days later, but unfortunately, it hasn't come yet...

Is it possible she's pregnant???? :/

Sorry to bother everyone, I'm just freaking out a bit...

Of course it's possible. Her being a virgin doesn't change the biological reality here. 🤦
Just go grab a pregnancy test and then you'll actually have an answer. In the future, please don't play games like this—use protection. ☕

At my office, the second I hear someone gossiping about personal business—whether on Slack or with a coworker—I check out. I don't care about other people's private drama; who’s sleeping with whom or why doesn't interest me. Still, eventually, I find out who slept with whom and when the wedding is. It's unavoidable. Information finds its way to me regardless, usually through rumors about colleagues I barely know by name.

... And he doesn't even realize his girlfriend is expecting? Give me a break. His girl is pregnant and he's in the dark? Fine, maybe. It's possible to hide a pregnancy, it happens. But for him not to know that his—get this—his girlfriend, someone he was intimate with and cared for, is getting married? No way, Jose. You can hide a baby, but you can't hide one of the biggest social milestones involving your partner. This is a massive plot hole. Either that, or these missing scenes are being saved for the Director's cut DVD release.

She isn't his girlfriend, she's his ex. 😬So there's no reason for him to know she's pregnant, because she's just a woman who moved on after he left her. She started a new life, found someone else, found out she was pregnant by her ex, and simply decided to keep it quiet and present the child to her new partner. In fact, the movie explicitly mentions that only she and the detective knew about the baby.

The part about the wedding, though... that's a fair point. He really could have found out about that. 😬

You could have just picked a top five, honestly. Four feels like a pretty strange number to land on...

goldenotter46 said:I don't really get what all the fuss is about. To me, the movie wasn't scary at all...

It’s actually pretty simple—everyone here grew up watching it, and naturally, we were all terrified out of our wits.😬 It just doesn't hit the same way when you watch it through adult eyes; you missed out on that core childhood lesson. You really have to see it when you're five or six years old to get the full effect...

Fast forward fifteen years, and honestly? That elevator sequence still holds up as one of the most terrifying things I’ve ever witnessed. 😱

Man, I swear, at this rate, I’ll be long gone before I get the chance to sit down and revisit that nightmare again. 😬

I’ve got it recorded, so I’m going to sit down and watch it tomorrow. Honestly, it’s a solid movie. Really great 😁

They could honestly just bump them up to 100x100. It’s not like it’s some massive undertaking, but man, it would make a world of difference.

casualotter21 said:I have no clue where they grabbed it online, but that map shows up right at the start of the movie.

First off, I'm a woman... 👋

Secondly, the image isn't from some website. I actually recorded the film myself and put this together just to end these silly arguments about Slovetziu versus Canada. 😉

granitefalcon2 said:It wasn't actually about Austria at all. In the scene where they were pointing out the location on the map, that territory was actually sitting inside Ukraine (or maybe Romania, I can't quite recall), while Austria and the US were shown right where they belong...

Here’s the screenshot, so you guys can see for yourselves that it wasn't Austria.

Joshua Kelly8 said:It wasn't Canada, it was Slovetzia or something like that—basically a made-up place they plopped right on the border of Romania and Bulgaria, so there's no way it could be Canada.

Exactly. I mean, where did anyone get the idea it was Canada from? It’s just a similar sounding name. The country in the movie isn't even anywhere near Austria, and it doesn't share anything in common with it. Plus, it was never actually translated as Canada.🙄

Anonymous said:this movie is a total disaster... just endless clichés...

And don't even get me started on those tired tropes from "The Nanny": the kids, her voice, the hair, the outfits, the mom, the age gap, the marriage...

😕 Her voice?! Give me a break. Imagine if the actress had the exact same voice she used in the sitcom. How dare she?! What kind of voice were you expecting? Should she just change it from show to show, or movie to movie, just so you don't associate her with, say, "The Nanny" anymore?! It’s her actual voice, man. 😳

The movie was actually filmed at the same time as the fifth season of "The Nanny." That explains why the hair is the same. Why change that, too, if that's just how she looked back then? 🙄
