So, what’s actually going on with you? Did you accidentally swallow something weird or something?
You running a fever too?
Struggling to sleep? Any tips? in Health ·
Timothy Ruiz3 said:What exactly is that tea and those pills supposed to accomplish?

Man, just shut up and drink the tea already, unless you want the doctor to skip the mild stuff and prescribe you one of those heavy-duty prescriptions instead😁...
Honestly, I don't think you're going to find any real guidance on here when it comes to an F-22 diagnosis. If you're feeling like your current treatment isn't hitting the mark, just go talk to your specialist—the one actually managing your care. I really believe they know their stuff and can figure out the right path, whether that means tweaking your dosage, switching up your medication entirely, or maybe even just sitting down for a good long talk about how you're feeling... just give them a fair shot.
Rabies scare: Animal bite! in Health ·
Everyone just loses their cool and starts snapping... unless they play it smart and get those shots right away after some rabid beast decides to take a bite out of them.
I honestly can't tell who’s being the idiot here, but if we keep heading down this road, someone's definitely gonna get banned from the forum...☕...
Strep throat symptoms and treatment? in Health ·
Man, seriously though... like, how are you actually feeling? Do you have a fever, or did you get your blood work back yet to check your white cell count and CRP levels?

I can't help but feel like you’d start feeling a whole lot better pretty quickly if you just stopped leaning so hard on all those meds, especially when it comes to antibiotics.
Leg Swelling & Pain: Any advice? in Health ·
Honestly, those heparin creams and gels are pretty much useless, unless you count the fact that you get a nice little massage out of applying them, which I guess we all kind of enjoy... As far as whether that heparin actually does anything on the surface or deep down—🙂
Anyone here cured of hepatitis C? in Health ·
driftingpanther42 said:Is that really all we're getting on this topic? Seriously? We’ve got threads covering colonoscopies, shady business, and STDs, but absolutely nothing about hepatitis... honestly, it's driving me nuts. It feels like the only people dealing with this are just random junkies off the street. Who am I even supposed to turn to for actual advice here? Alex White36, where'd you disappear to?

So why aren't you sharing anything about hepatitis? You’ve barely said a word in this whole thread besides that one quote above.
Come on, write something—tell us about what you went through, how the treatment was, any side effects... I bet there are plenty of people here who could actually give you some pointers if you opened up a bit.🙂

They definitely aren't doing anything for the health of the T-1000.😍
Oncology question in Health ·
Honestly, you should’ve been getting all those forecasts and deep dives into what you're dealing with way back on the surgical floor, during the pre-op prep, and definitely during those follow-up checkups after the surgery. Believe me, there’s really no reason to go out and pay some private specialist just to get basic information you should have already had.
It blows my mind that nobody actually sat me down to explain if they just did a simple colon resection or if they had to clear out some kind of metastatic growth along the way. There is a massive difference between "it stayed localized" and "it spread," and I deserved to know which one it was.
I mean, sometimes people just want a little more than the dry, clinical jargon or those clipped, rushed sentences doctors tend to throw at patients when they're in a hurry. Like, come on man, you expect a bit more—something more thorough... especially since the prognosis and the procedure details were probably mentioned at some point anyway, but never clearly enough.
Oncology question in Health ·
Could you maybe clear this up a bit: "they sent him over to MD Anderson Cancer Center for radiation and chemo, but they haven't called him back in months"...Does that mean he actually had an appointment there if they "sent him," and what did they tell him during the visit? Then again, why would they bother calling if he hasn't responded or if they don't have his info on file?

Just a heads-up, there’s really no such thing as a private oncologist. To be more specific, things like radiation and chemo are handled in hospitals, not private clinics, so there’s honestly zero point in paying someone privately for that kind of stuff.
I’d say just stick to whatever the surgeon advises. Basically, follow whatever is written in those surgical follow-up reports. It should say something like, "status is X... follow-up in X weeks with an ultrasound/CT/colonoscopy/tumor marker test..." If that's the case, you shouldn't be sitting around waiting for a phone call; you just go ahead and schedule the tests they asked for and show up to the check-up. Don't forget that the patient is still under the surgeon's care! An ultrasound or CT scan is going to be way more important to the surgeon than the oncologist anyway. The oncologist mostly looks at what the surgeon noted in their report along with blood work like CBC, white cell counts, platelets, and liver enzymes... and then they build the treatment plan based on all that.

Three months isn't actually that long of a stretch, and I don't think he's missed the window for oncology treatment. Especially if nothing was found to have spread during the pre-op or intra-op stages. Of course, since we don't know the specifics, it’s a bit silly to be totally certain about anything.
From what I can gather here, I don't see any reason to panic.
So, when you say "arm and leg," are you feeling that sensation just on one side of your body? Like, is it specifically your left leg and right arm working together, or what?

Honestly, I don't think those salt levels have anything to do with what you're going through.
Wrist pain - Carpal tunnel symptoms? in Health ·
So, what's actually causing all this pain?
It’s honestly pretty tough to call anything when you're looking at just one single lab result. What I can tell you is that you'll probably need to dig a little deeper with some follow-up testing to figure out what's actually driving those high bilirubin levels. Maybe an abdominal ultrasound or a quick check-in with an internist at the Mayo Clinic or something... just to be safe. Fingers crossed for you!
Neurologist recommendations? in Health ·
I’m not actually from Cleveland so I can't say for sure, but honestly, why would you even bother paying out of pocket when you could just head over to the Mayo Clinic and find a top-tier specialist there? It kind of goes without saying in general—if you want that private, premium experience, you're probably going to have to cough up the cash. It doesn't mean anything, really. Honestly, I think things could be doing even better than they are right now.

Nah, that's just not how it works.
Taking the plunge... in Health ·
Summer break always seems to bring these nasty spinal injuries, leaving people dealing with paralysis or quadriplegia out of nowhere... It’s always "someone else" getting hurt, you know? Nobody ever stops to think about how one reckless jump can literally change your entire life forever.
I've seen some really heartbreaking stuff personally... it's almost always young people who end up losing all feeling from the waist down. Just a total nightmare. Please, stay safe out there when you're jumping around—it is definitely not a game!
Elon Musk in Health ·
Honestly, I’m not quite sure what a "normal" reaction looks like here... you might want to check back with the lab that ran the test to see what that number actually means for you—like, if it’s just a minor blip or something you really need to watch out for.
Just a heads-up, though, the real kicker with allergies is usually that endogenous histamine released when allergens hit your antibodies, but you can definitely ingest histamine through food and trigger a reaction that way too. Now, Elon Musk works as an ACE inhibitor and antihypertensive, so there isn't any actual histamine in it, but since it's made of proteins, those can still set off an allergic response. Generally speaking, you probably shouldn't be giving Elon Musk to anyone who's prone to anaphylaxis anyway.
I figure you should be totally fine eating fruits, veggies, and grains, but you definitely want to be careful with meat and processed meats where histamine levels can get high as the proteins break down.
Still, I don't think there's any need to freak out. Between sticking to a specific diet and maybe using some antihistamines, life goes on just fine...

stormyheron20 said:Look, Scott Allen10, it shouldn't be that hard to figure out. Listen, honey, you're the moderator here, so you definitely know more than I do. I was just trying to ask something on behalf of someone else—I wasn't breaking any forum rules—but if you don't like it, you're the boss, so go ahead and decide. You can lock the thread since I found my answer anyway; I never intended to pick a fight with a cynical moderator, I just wanted to ask a harmless question. Thanks for your precious time, Scott Allen10.

No worries at all, ma'am! I'm just really glad you finally got the answer you were looking for.
I honestly have no idea why you got so worked up over nothing... I only asked you to clarify what was going on because that way you’d actually get helpful answers or info from people. How are doctors supposed to help you if you won't even say what the issue is? And I'm still totally confused about how asking that would somehow blow your anonymity... I'm just looking out for you...😵...paranoia isn't great for anyone...

Next time you want to ask something privately, maybe just try calling one of those medical hotlines where actual doctors are waiting to help you out...

@enoi3
Why the ban? We didn't do anything wrong... peace!...🙂

Yeah, you’ve definitely got a point there. But honestly, everyone would know exactly who you are right away if you show up using a handle like stormyheron20 just to ask about some specific condition or treatment without even having to name names... It’s pretty obvious that whenever stormyheron20 asks something, any hope of staying anonymous goes straight out the window. Just saying!

Look, cynicism aside, just try asking a coherent question for once... maybe then someone might actually reach out via DM once they realize what's actually going on.
