We ended up going with the MVP Pro Whey in cookie flavor after all. The Dymatize stuff didn't come in a large enough tub, so we spent forever comparing options before finally pulling the trigger on the MVP. 😢
I’d actually give those Dymatize ones a shot, especially if they have a strong vanilla scent. 😍
Honestly, most of this stuff is just way too sweet for me 😳, particularly when you mix it with milk, two scoops of glucose, and some honey. It becomes an absolute sugar bomb.

By the way, I'm heading out tomorrow to pick up some Daymatize protein. I want to see if they actually live up to the hype.😁
My boyfriend and I are heading over to the Tratinski office this Monday to pick them up ourselves. 😍
I’ve seen the ad pop up a few times now, and there it is again at the top of the forum... Do you guys remember Pinball? 😢
I’m guessing it’s absolutely devastating? I tried sitting through Earthlings, but I just couldn't do it... It was too much. I started tearing up after only a minute and had to shut it off. Are they even remotely similar? 😢

Did you actually send anything? If I were you, I’d just ship it via UPS. Any idea what the shipping costs might look like? I was planning on swinging by the post office, but I probably won't get there until tomorrow or the day after.
Sarah Wood96 said:How do I ship a handbag? Should I use a box? It’s my first time sending anything like this, and honestly, I’m a bit lost on how the whole process works... please help me out. 😢
Yeah, just pack it up nicely, wrap the box in some plain paper, tie it shut with some twine, fill out the forms you grab at the post office, and drop it in the mail.
Make sure to tell the lady at the service counter that you’re sending this as a package. 🙂
Maria Thompson4 said:I’ve told her multiple times to just head down to the post office, but she keeps giving me this excuse about how she “doesn't have time to get to the bank”... honestly, I don't know what to tell you. It's a total mess. It's ridiculous. She’s offering to let me pick something out from her collection, but there isn't even anything worth looking at. :/
Red alert! Now I'm actually curious who we're talking about here. 😬
Elizabeth Baker38 said:Look, if you had actually read through this thread, you would have known this already. We’ve been discussing this here for a while.😁 I learned this the hard way myself. I ended up paying full shipping fees multiple times because I kept sending things to the same zip code, 21***, until one clerk finally charged me $3.25 and sat me down to explain how it works. We all need to do our own homework before heading to the USPS. This whole thread has helped us figure out stuff that the clerks at the post office would never bother telling you.
Yeah, tell me about it... they always give me grief over the packaging requirements for parcels, and every single branch seems to run their own little empire—different rules for paperwork, different ways of packing, different pricing... honestly, they're just rude.👎
Kimberly Wood72 said:I ordered a few things off eBay, and now they're scheduled to arrive right when I'm leaving town for the holidays. They're being shipped to my address at the university. I'll only be home for 14 days. Will the post office hold the package, or will it sit in customs, or are they just going to ship everything back? I honestly don't know what to do. Dammit, I can't miss my trip just because of some stupid packages... ugh.
I think your best bet is to call the specific post office where you pick them up. Better yet, just swing by there in person and beg them not to return to sender. But honestly? Yeah, once the holding period is up, they'll probably just send it back.🤷
I haven't been keeping up with this thread... and it wasn't until yesterday (after I'd already sent out about 150 packages) that I found out shipping to NYC starts at just 10 bucks $3.25 (around 9 and change!), yet they've been charging me 15 every single time like clockwork! 😲 😠
I had absolutely no clue! It was only yesterday when the lady at the UPS Store tried to charge me $28.80 for two packages before she caught herself and said, "Wait, no, the second one is actually $3.25..." So I asked her what the hell the new rates were, and she just looked at me and insisted nothing had changed and it's always been that way!
It feels like every single post office is just making up its own rules on the fly!! 😲 😠 Total liars and thieves
I completely lost the thread during part four... though maybe that’s just because it happened to be my first date with my current partner 😍 😬 how romantic, right? I was actually the one who picked the movie! 😍 😛So, my focus was pretty much anywhere but on the screen.
Before I dive into the sixth installment, I really need to catch up on the previous ones. I’m planning to start next week... 😁 if I actually get around to it. 🤣
driftingsurfer96 said:Hey there. A week ago, I had nose surgery at the hospital in NYC. It was supposed to be a septoplasty because I couldn't breathe properly, but while I was there, I asked the doctor if he could also touch up the appearance a bit. He agreed to help and brought in a colleague—a plastic surgeon—to handle the aesthetic side of things. Now, regarding the septoplasty and my primary doctor, everything went perfectly. They pulled the tampons out yesterday and I can already feel myself breathing much more normally. However, the part about fixing how my nose looks? That did not go well at all. My doctor explained that since my nose wasn't huge, the other surgeon didn't break anything; he basically just "sanded down" the bone to straighten it. Well, I took the bandages off today, and let me tell you, there's plenty to see. I have a hump on my nose. A hump! I've never had a bump on my nose in my entire life, and instead of it being straighter, I now have a literal hump. I broke down crying. I am honestly devastated.
I have a follow-up appointment with my doctor this Tuesday, and I plan on asking him how on earth a hump could appear right after surgery. I feel awkward about it because I don't want it to seem like I'm attacking him. He actually went out of his way to do me a favor by arranging the extra work, and I really don't have any complaints about his performance specifically. But I think I have every right to ask why my nose looks worse now than it did before the operation. Does anyone know what my options are here? Am I entitled to demand they fix this?
Susan Watson31 said:Unfortunately, this wasn't my first time under the knife, but it was easily the best experience I've ever had. I can't recommend Dr. Tončić enough. He and his entire team are just outstanding—their expertise, professionalism, and genuine kindness make such a difference. I could go on, but I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea about how much I appreciate them. Honestly, I just took the mold off and I'm so happy I actually cried tears of joy while driving home. My nose already looks beautiful and fits my face perfectly; you can't even tell I had surgery... We all have the freedom to decide when, where, and how much we want to fix our noses. I’m just glad I made the choice I did. I feel like a new chapter of my life started today. I'm finally putting an end to that insecurity and moving past it. Yeah, once again, I feel free and happy...
