..I was just bringing up the whole disqualification thing regarding darkmarlin16... mostly just curious if they’re actually gonna be consistent with how they apply (and even understand) the rulebook compared to what happened with Patagonia.

I was waiting on your take but never got it.. oh well.... no biggie...

But man, it’s gonna set a crazy precedent for next year if darkmarlin16 ends up winning the super league as someone who technically should've been DQ'd halfway through this season..

That’s basically a recipe for disaster right there, guaranteed to spark endless arguments and drama...

And if I remember correctly, FER should've been replaced ages ago anyway...

stormybadger8 said:From what I can tell, nobody’s even thinking about answering this...

I'm dying to see how that showdown actually plays out...

And if you're calling the shots as the Manager, then it's high time you make a call regarding those people who supposedly should've been disqualified after CNN Belgium for failing to send three consecutive bids/responses... actually, it's four in a row now... once you decide, just pull in the next reserves on the list.
Same goes for the decision on Bjesomar and the withdrawals. I'm not entirely sure, but I think there are others who haven't sent a bid or response for three or more races straight.
Feel free to call in Max to help explain things and sort out these potential disqualifications and other headaches... he knows this stuff better than anyone, and he's always down to help when it comes to keeping the superleague regular.

Also, it would be nice to get these decisions made so we actually know who's playing who and whose bid is being answered... assuming there's even any intention of finishing this superleague season at all.🤷

stormybadger8 said:That’s actually a solid suggestion regarding lap 3. Honestly, might be the smartest move yet...🙂
It’s probably not even going to happen anyway; there aren't enough players to pull off the original plan.

But hey, Max, care to explain why I was wrong about the Patagonia situation? Apparently, it’s perfectly fine for darkmarlin16 to just keep moving along, even though they haven't sent an offer or a reply in four races straight...

Still nothing? No answer yet...? 🍿

Where are all those geniuses now? The ones over in Germany complaining to Denis Bećirović about him heading to the pits just because he didn't feel like driving at the back of the pack?? Apparently, he’s way too big of a star to be stuck in last place...

🤮

🤮

Their favorite old veteran just tucked his tail and headed straight to the pits for absolutely no reason at all...

And the former champ? He’s an even bigger diva when it comes to driving at the back of the grid...

🤮

I honestly doubt being stuck at the bottom of the standings was actually the reason...🤣 🤣

Hey, yo... ??

Why on earth would I get penalized just because the rulebook doesn't even cover this specific situation? ... ??

If the rules don't explicitly say you can't do it, then you're good to go...
!!

...especially when there's zero explanation on what you're even supposed to do in that situation...

Look, that's basically the foundation for all human decency, isn't it? And the absolute bare minimum I expect is for those same rules to be followed in the Super League...

Edward Howard2 said:ruggedfox28 wrote that you're spot on—what you quoted actually has absolutely nothing to do with this.

Look, if the rules actually covered this situation, you wouldn't even be asking how the offer was going to be handled in the first place... 😁

darkmarlin16 hasn't sent over a reply yet—at least I haven't seen anything on my end—but honestly, there's a good chance it already landed with Sep.🤷
I would've checked in with him.

How exactly do you think you're going to check if he actually made it to Sep? 🤣
Look, if darkmarlin16 actually followed the rulebook when he sent his reply, then you should be getting that same response too—not just some filtered version from Seppa. This pretty much confirms they didn't follow the standard procedure. If they had done things by the book to make sure everything was legit, you wouldn't be sitting here wondering, assuming they even bothered to send anything at all.
Or is there some other way to send this that isn't actually listed in the rulebook?

Terry Carter2 said:Like I said before, nothing about this situation looks good to me!

Look, there's three of us telling you the exact same thing—this whole situation isn't even covered by the rulebook! And yet, here you are, just making it up as you go and trying to apply some retroactive logic after the fact...

stormybadger8 said:A "pair" with just one driver isn't a pair.☕
So, I’m treating that offer as if you actually wrote out four separate pairs.

Who cares what you think? Where exactly in the rules does it say you get to strip me of my win in that duel?...

You guys totally ignored my take at the start of the season when you sided with darkmarlin16, even though I made a completely different call as the moderator...

You guys totally ignored Dorianov's call during the tournament while he was hosting, and then you just handed darkmarlin16 the win!...

So you're actually expecting me to respect a decision that isn't even based on the rules? Like, you just made this up on the fly and expect me to roll with it...??!!

If that were a four-pair offer, I'd be sitting pretty at 6:5

🤣 🤣

..and since Terry Carter2 didn't pick a single driver in that fifth set, there's no question about my win.. the only real question is by how much...

🤣 🤣

Even if he had picked anyone, even Massu, they both would've walked away winners anyway...😂 😂

Edward Howard2 said:Age doesn't actually have much to do with it... when you're driving in the rain, it's all about how the driver feels the braking point, the pressure they apply, how fast they hit the corner, and having the guts to push it to the edge. You don't just lose those instincts just because you're getting older. Honestly, you could argue that all the experience he's picked up over the years actually helps him more than anything when the track gets wet.
As for vision issues, yeah, eyesight can definitely cause problems... but I highly doubt "grandpa" would still be behind the wheel if he wasn't physically fit enough to handle racing at this level.
We're talking extremes here... everything from masterclasses in the rain to total rookie disasters... 🤷

Look, everything you mentioned—vision and prescription—is absolutely crucial. I didn't bring it up for nothing. I was scrolling through some news site a few days ago (don't make me go hunting for it again) and read how the Germans are constantly making fun of Schumi and his eyesight. Apparently, it's like some kind of national secret that Schumi's vision isn't quite where it needs to be...😬

Those barrels aren't gonna drop on a weekday, they're hitting on Sunday...

..all we can do is hope for some rain this Sunday, which looks pretty damn likely right now 🙂
Looks like we might get some rain in Budapest during the weekend, especially on Sunday!!

I'm just wondering if we're actually gonna see some rain on this ultra boring track ☕

I guess since it’s kind of awkward to call out Zalonso when they’re leading the championship right now, we just have to settle for these random bursts of comedy instead.
