What a shame 😬

I honestly thought the car had taken enough of a hit that they’d have to swap out the gearbox, the engine, or something else entirely... 😬

Wait, what just happened?? What actually happened??

🍿 🍿 🍿

Did Alonso screw up? 🙂 🙂

Is he gonna have to start with a penalty?? 🙂 🙂

Rain looks pretty much a given for the whole GP weekend, especially this Sunday based on how things are looking right now... 🙏 😬
Edward Howard2 said:Hold on a second... did you actually ask if we were happy with how the championship is being run or if we had any complaints? Nope.
Did I write out my thoughts and grievances in a polite, civil way? Yep.
Did I say any of this before you came asking for our input? Not a chance.
And what the hell... why are you trying to link my performance in the tournament to this? What does one have to do with the other?
Plus, why even ask for an opinion if you can't handle hearing it?

As for that claim that "peace reigned everywhere" before I started posting more often... hey, we can debate that. Let the neutral observers decide for themselves if it was actually peaceful or if you're just talking nonsense to try and get a rise out of me.

Even though you brought up other competitions, I’m not going to dive into the Super League—which is basically on the verge of collapsing the whole system—or this current tournament that I’ve already stepped in to save from irregularities twice. I'll stick strictly to the championship since that’s what this thread is about... here are a few of my points...
So, what follows are just a few examples of the endless arguing, back-and-forth, and general chaos in this year's championship. Obviously, these aren't all the posts where people were clashing this season, just a selection I picked. It’s worth noting that all of these happened before I got knocked out in the last race, which is what ruggedfox28 thinks was the moment things started falling apart. 🤣

I gotta admit, I’m actually really glad you nudged me to go back and comb through this whole championship thread. Honestly, some of those "critical" moments had totally slipped my mind—or maybe I just missed them entirely. Before this, I was always so slammed for time that I was just scrolling through the season at lightning speed without really soaking anything in.
I haven't even bothered to sit down and count exactly how many controversial calls there were, but honestly? There were more than enough to make me call this whole championship the most disorganized mess I've ever seen.
Honestly, it's hard to tell just how many people are actually fed up with this year's championship and all the calls being made. We've seen a record number of red cards, warnings, and threats lately, so most folks are probably too scared to even speak up against the officiating for fear of being the next one to get penalized.

But after looking back through everything, I'm 100% certain about one thing: there's no way I'm voting for this current leadership team if they run in the 2013 Championship elections. ☕
Thanks for clearing that up for me, ruggedfox28... 😂

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

I honestly have zero intention of wasting my time reading your massive wall of text, so I don't even have a comeback for you... but hey, thanks for spending all that energy on me... 😬
Terry Carter2 said:Honestly, I’m genuinely relieved to see Edward Howard2 back in top form.
If my memory serves me right, there was a period where he could barely hold things together.
😁

Funny how everything was perfectly peaceful while he was MIA... but now that he took an unexpected hit in the tournament, suddenly he's gone quiet. He's probably waiting for things to settle before posting his take on the league's mess and the Super League drama, even though according to him, the whole tournament has already hit rock bottom.🤣 🤣 🤣

We seriously need to get him registered and protected...😁
thank god you guys actually have your own opinions for once 🙏
Edward Howard2 said:I'm assuming the whole proposal is being accepted, which means we'll probably have two rounds of voting since it looks like there will be 3 or 4 candidates, right?

Quote : Maxyć could throw his hat in the ring, so show us what you've got when it comes to running things.😉

Well, I’ve already shown you how good I am at managing things by running all the competitions for two years straight, but apparently that wasn't quite enough for a few of you... 😁

So, one of the biggest gripes is definitely that mess you guys made with PP 😁
Another big issue is that you aren't double-checking the results... I mean, since there are two of you, it would be great if you could verify the results (doesn't have to be instant, just whenever you get a chance) that Terry Carter2 tallies up... because honestly, props to him, but nobody's perfect... 😁
Besides, that's exactly what you promised when you started running this...

I said I'd check them "if I feel like it or if I find the time" 😉

..and who's saying I don't? I'm not crazy enough to clutter the thread with endless copies of predictions.. especially if it isn't even necessary since Terry Carter2 is basically spot-on so far... usually I just check the top ten for both myself and the crew. If we aren't in the top 10, I check the results too... honestly, I haven't caught an error from him yet, so I'm checking him less and less because there's just no point...

as for those other complaints, they were out of my hands anyway... 😬

that whole chaos happened because the rules weren't clear enough, so everyone was just doing their own thing...
Not sure who to ask, so I figured I'd just drop it here 😬

So, how are you guys feeling about the way Terry Carter2 and I have been running the championship so far? Keep in mind, we're only three rounds in... 😬

Any complaints? Anything we should fix if it's actually within our control...?
Paska (very) likely isn't planning on stepping into any competitions next year, let alone taking the lead on them 🙂

steelmaker83 said:That’s true, but the real question is... do we actually want to watch a race, or just a parade of people missing turns?

Look, this is just another case of what we want as fans versus what they actually care about. Let's be real here—their top priority isn't entertainment, it's just stacking up points and winning at any cost.

..it’s funny how people can just twist things to fit their own little narrative... 🤣 😁

I'm not looking for a fight here, but couldn't you argue that Vettel actually played it smarter than Alonso? He knew he couldn't match him, and trying to fight back might have just ended in a total disaster and zero points for both of them—exactly what almost happened with Alonso while he was out there struggling...

..though honestly, that "fight" looked more like a wounded kitten trying to hold its ground since he had zero chance after those tires were absolutely trashed. That’s why you could say Alonso's move was "stupider" than Vettel's... he didn't have a prayer, so all he really did was risk losing everything for nothing...

Honestly, if Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso just wreck each other out in the first lap, I wouldn't even care if America lost to Ireland... 😬
