Look, when it comes to things like colloidal silver, MMS, and all that, we aren't discussing it here on the health boards. If you want to get into that stuff, go find the "Alternative" PDF.
Just so you all understand why this stuff isn't allowed on a health forum—it’s straight-up poison. Huge thanks to Endymion for digging into this ages ago and exposing what people are actually poisoning themselves with, let alone dropping massive amounts of cash on.
Alright, we all had our fun, but this thread is officially going under lock and key. If you're looking for stuff like this, just grab the PDF for Love, Erotica, and Sex (Teto, my bad 😬).
Man. 🙂 I feel for you. I know exactly how it feels when inflammation kicks in—that specific kind of pain. It’s hard to even wrap my head around what you're going through right now. Wish I had some actual advice to offer. 🙂
And by the way, if there's inflammation going on, running a fever isn't unusual. That's just the body doing its thing, fighting off viruses and bacteria. 🙂
I don't know, my lymph nodes haven't actually swollen up, but they definitely get inflamed sometimes. Where are yours acting up? For me, it usually flares up right under my ear near the jawline, but it just clears itself up in two or three days.
Generally speaking, when you start an antibiotic course, you need to jump on probiotics immediately—whether that’s through pills, supplements, or vaginal treatments, whatever works for you. Antibiotics don't just target the bad bacteria; they wipe out the good ones too. Once those beneficial microbes are gone, there's nothing left to keep fungi and other nasty little pests in check. That’s why so many people deal with diarrhea while on antibiotics; your gut flora gets absolutely decimated. (And for us women, there's the added bonus: once our healthy bacteria are trashed, we end up dealing with 😬 issues, too.)
Are you using any vaginal suppositories? If so, I’m not sure how much you should be mixing things up. But oral probiotics? You can take those at the same time—actually, it’s pretty much recommended when you're on antibiotics.
I already sent you a private message, and I wanted to address this specific point right here too. Honestly, I’m really sorry you’re having to deal with all of this while also navigating things with your boyfriend.
Chloe Gomez6 said:Yeah, I've been stuck on that too.
Basically, if you're treating something locally, you get local treatment—like if you have a rash, they give you a topical cream (+pills😁).
Not necessarily, though. 🙂
Honestly, I have no clue how the science actually works behind it, but I know that when I take oral probiotics while on antibiotics, it helps prevent fungal infections from kicking in. Maybe it works differently for everyone, but that's my experience. 🤷
I’d also love to hear a coherent explanation of how this all functions.
There’s already a thread on celiac disease that you apparently found. I’m locking this one down—just head over there and keep the conversation going. 🙂
Look, guys, I can't really help you out with stuff like this on a forum. Go see a doctor. You shouldn't mess around when you've had swelling or itching at a tick bite site for days.
They have certain restrictions on issuing referrals, but it’s not based on an individual patient—it’s calculated on a monthly basis. Basically, they have a monthly cap, and if they go over it, they face penalties or some kind of fine. That’s why everyone is being so stingy with those referrals.
