I mean, there are plenty of them if you look closely, like Jack Elam, Woody Strode, Gertrude, Ray Winston, Tiny Lister Jr., and so on.

For the longest time, I was under the impression that Dolph Lundgren was the biggest, toughest presence in Hollywood, but after sitting through Universal Soldier, I’m honestly a bit stunned.
Compared to Ralf Moeller, Dolph looks like a total amateur. 🕺And it isn't just Moeller either; even Tiny Lister Jr. seemed to have more physical presence than Lundgren.

Now, about the movie:
Easily the best thing I’ve watched in the last two years. It hits all the right notes—aside from that ridiculous bit with the aliens—and B.B. Thornton absolutely deserves an Oscar for that performance.
I’ve always had a soft spot for Ed Crane; honestly, he's the kind of guy I'd love to be.
That ending was masterful. I was actually rooting for him to pull it off, but the way it wrapped up really provided the perfect punctuation mark for the whole story.

10/10.

Just finished watching this masterpiece and man, that performance was chilling. Pure brutality.

Honestly, Loc’s performance hits right up there with Angel Eyes from > or el Indio in >—maybe even rivaling Frank in >.

I can't remember the last time I saw a character portrayed as truly depraved as Loc.
