Hey, fellow Americans? Has the concert been moved? Just wondering if we can start putting up posters yet.
Regarding all this screaming about Psycho-Path, I wasn't exactly blown away by them either, but this album actually hits for me—there's barely any noise left, so maybe you guys will finally get into it. Honestly? It’s just commercial pop-punk-metal, but I’d much rather hear that than some random band trying to rip off Sonic Youth; there are way too many of those groups out there anyway.
Looks like Siddarth isn't happening, Vidmar is taking over instead... and sadly, Psycho-Path won't be there either, which actually makes sense (their last album was killer, by the way)... I heard a rumor they might bring in The Babies 😕
Tickets in Minneapolis are whatever you want them to be; if you're splitting the cost among five people, even gas money is worth it since it's only about 47 bucks, or $52. And honestly, I saw the technical rider and the band's stage setup at ŠKUC the other day, so there's no way they canceled, despite all the rumors...
I assume this concert is being put on by Boza or ŠKUC? If that's the case, maybe Tyler Grant86 could actually step up and get involved, since he probably carries a bit more weight over there anyway.
Both the "Before the Rain" and "Dust" DVDs hit the shelves here in North Mexico late last year—if anyone's interested, I can probably get my hands on them 🙂
Btw, I think Dust is actually even more incredible; it’s darker and somehow even funnier at the same time. It feels like a more polished version of Before the Rain. I guess Milcho knew his Hollywood career was pretty much dead in the water, but he still managed to film it without any issues.
Since my kidneys aren't exactly in peak condition—let alone my other recycling centers—I was wondering if there’s some kind of discount for married couples? 🙂
A little while back, there was some talk about Ziv's Mud... I'm not sure if you guys caught the news, but does anyone know the title of the new album? It's called "You're a Bitch I Don't Have To Pay For" 😁
Patton's favorite spot in Vienna is Venice. Take him there, and he'll spill everything you want to know, so maybe we won't have to start a new thread every three months.🙂
The whole idea of those meetups at the NYSE and The Fillmore sounds cool, though I guess commenting on it all is a bit controversial... hopefully I can make it to both. One more thing—any word on a new compilation featuring quality underground bands from all over the US? I heard a rumor about something like 🙄
That demo CD is killer, and if it's brand new, I guess I can only offer my congrats. Anyway, hey Drew Sanders7 and Frank Howard79, what's the word on The Dying Sun Orchestra?
Hey, you said you weren't coming back anymore... we were still holding out hope, I guess.😕
...anyway, I've got this CD stuck in my player at school featuring A. d. f, The Pogues, Rammstein, and Always Look on the Bright Side of Life. I suppose it beats nothing.
As for you, I’d probably drag you by the arm straight to the principal's office and then to summer school.🙄
Big Joe is giving his side of the story, and he's even popping up on the forum 😉 ... this is his version of the truth, so go ahead and tell him yours 🙂
Everyone’s raving about it, and I guess I am too—I just hope my finals don't fall right on top of the release date. At the same time, I'm not exactly thrilled with the new Billy the Kid. It feels a bit overproduced to me, so I might have to side with Tyler Grant86 on this one; after The Brothers Grimm, I just wasn't expecting this kind of sound or live show.
