Honestly, this Forum could probably use more than just fifty clicks from girls, if you ask me...

Guga, you’re seriously losing it. People are out here dealing with absolute chaos, and you're sitting there worrying about having 40 girls when you could have 50? You'd be totally alone and it wouldn't even matter, but no... it's just not right. 🙄 God, Americans...

I'm heading over to that Television Network myself if you won't step up.
hollowtrucker77 said:Attacking a pig slaughter? Seriously?
Not in a million years!!!
Look, as a self-proclaimed devotee of sausages, liver, and all those other delicacies made from freshly processed livestock, I wouldn't dream of even whispering a word against the butcher's craft in my wildest dreams.
But at the same time, I’m fully aware of that empathetic side of my psyche—that part where it isn't exactly easy to drive a knife home, listen to those final death rattles, and watch the blood start to pool.
I’ll go out on a limb here and say that some city kid, someone who has probably never even been close to actual death, would witness this and immediately join the Green Party just to escape the trauma; it would easily be the most harrowing experience of their entire lives.
On the flip side, you have kids raised out in the rural Heartland, where raising and processing animals is just a completely normal, everyday part of life, and they’re probably actually feeling pretty proud of their very first bloody experience.

Sorry, but I don't see any real difference between a sausage lover who slaughters their own pig and a meat lover who supports big agribusiness. At the end of the day, everyone just wants to eat meat; the executioners don't really matter. If we didn't have them, we'd all figure out how to butcher pretty fast anyway.

Also, I feel like being a war criminal depends on way more important things than whether we've ever killed an animal—like, did our moms love us, were we bullied in preschool, did we have a healthy sex life, did we lack attention growing up, or did we eat enough peanuts in our lifetime.

So, Andy should probably apologize to the farmers. Unless he was just trolling, but then again, it's not cool to troll when you're acting as a moderator. Personally, I wouldn't let myself do that. Being a mod and all.
hollowtrucker77 said:Yeah, sure, because a surgeon is definitely better equipped to handle blood and will obviously react much more calmly to pain and suffering than someone like Steve the cashier, who spends her shift snacking on expired frozen appetizers she swiped from the breakroom.

It’s pretty obvious and logical, so there really isn't any need for this kind of infantile mockery.

But sir, my infantile mockery is a matter of personal choice—it's perfectly legal and moral—whereas for a moderator, that shouldn't exactly be the case.

Honestly, I don't care one bit if the lady waiting in line for bread next to me is an idiot. I care a little more if the cashier is an idiot, because I'll inevitably have to deal with her since I don't steal from stores anymore. And I care quite a lot if the President is an idiot.

hollowtrucker77 said:well, let's be honest, women have actually proven to be far more ruthless than men when it comes to warfare
😁

go ahead and hand a hunting knife to some high school kid from a suburb like Chicago and watch how people react
then, just for the sake of comparison, give that same blade to a kid raised out in the rural Midwest, where that kind of thing is just part of the scenery

once you take your notes on those two scenarios, I don't think there will be any doubt left about who's tougher

Fine. Let's assume that conclusion is logically sound. In that case, professional butchers should probably wear aprons and handcuffs, because they kill things daily, and it's just a matter of time before someone pulls a massacre on a subway train.

The CEO of a poultry plant deserves to have his tongue pulled out, because the second he opens his mouth, he starts spreading genocidal ideas.

And hunters? Cut off their hands and fingers. Just to be safe.

hollowtrucker77 said:Look, there’s a massive difference between just getting into a scrap and what happened in Cologne—it’s a whole different beast entirely.
Statistically speaking, the percentage of people who actually have the stomach to take a life without having gone through some kind of rigorous training or psychological conditioning is basically zero. It’s a negligible number, really. Most folks just aren't built that way naturally.

That "training" can basically be anything. Watching the news on TV is its own kind of training. Actually, in certain moments, in certain countries, it's a very intense form of training.

And here you are, attacking pig farmers with your black-and-white rhetoric. You guys love your blood sausages, don't you? Typical...
hollowtrucker77 said:Alright, alright, my bad for being MIA for a bit.
Aside from real life getting in the way, I just needed some actual time to digest everything and wrap my head around the context here.
Now that I’ve finally finished chewing through the whole thing, I honestly don't see what the big deal is.
It’s just basic logic, really—someone who's been desensitized is obviously going to find it much easier to go through with the slaughter than someone who nearly faints at the mere sight of blood.
And look, if you actually view suffering as a bad thing, you're naturally going to have a stronger moral compass than someone who treats it like a hobby or, you know, a standard Tuesday.
These are just scientific facts, and I fail to see where Mod went wrong, other than the fact that his writing style clearly rubs some people the wrong way.

Is it scientifically proven that people who slaughter their own pigs view it as fun—or even just normal—and therefore find it easier to kill a person during a war?

Then we should probably ban surgeons from participating in wars. I mean, they spend every single day cutting into meat, so under the stress of combat, they might just totally snap. Like, you say "good morning" to them, and the surgeon accidentally slices your ear off. Seriously, get outta here, you psycho surgeon, go slice your ear off at home for your mom and dad instead.

Tyler Bishop56 said:As an American, I find the whole relationship between Mexico and NATO pretty fascinating.

Man, I can still feel that pit in my stomach from when I first realized how messed up it was—realizing how nice my life was while bombers were busy dropping some really nasty stuff on a neighboring country. A country that, by the way, was built using money from both my parents and yours.

I’d also be super interested to hear a Mexican take on Western media propaganda, especially since their own media machine has written one of the wildest chapters in media history. Like, that whole nonsense about burning tires in Dubrovnik by those vampire-like extremists. Or the idea of the Maslenica Bridge just spontaneously combusting; I mean, seriously, who builds a bridge like that out in the direct sun? 🤷

It seems to me that you guys are all way too quick to pull the trigger. I’ve noticed that whenever regular, normal people get appointed as moderators, they jump at any chance to shut down threads. These aren't even threads breaking the rules or hurting anyone's feelings, but they seem to get a little kick out of being the ones to kill the conversation. I can practically feel their ego trip through the monitor.

And look, this isn't aimed at any specific moderator or any specific thread. Honestly, I haven't even seen the topic in question; I'm just going off a vibe. You know me, I'm a sensitive guy. 🥳

But deleting threads and banning users—people like Ethan Morales22, Daniel Ward87, Mickey, or whoever else—can only be done by someone with zero sense of market competition. They really ought to think twice about who they're driving away from here.

Krule started that blog "defense and protection from stupidity," and we could have had that kind of energy right here, live. But we don't. Why? Because of some bureaucratic bullshit, that's why.

And there goes Schmokljan. 😢 Seriously, if you all grow old and wise, who am I supposed to hang out with to stay young? 🤷

Look, Schmokljan definitely earned a few days—maybe even a week?—of a "cooling off" period after being so rude to the admin, but the admin also needs to actually do his job professionally. That means explaining the reasoning behind bans and warnings, both to him and to the rest of us.

This forum is just a perfect mirror of how things work in America, where people in power don't feel the slightest bit of obligation to explain their moves to "those below them."

The whitewashing starts right here, Sash.

I mean, we're out here draining their resources, so suddenly everything they do matters to us, right?

Is this some kind of new rule they just dropped on us 🙂, or is the author just trolling big time?

I'm asking here (instead of the Help Center) because, well, this would be a massive, incredibly huge, supposedly "smart" decision.

It wouldn't be smart, because your post count doesn't actually make you any smarter. Someone who’s an idiot with ten posts is still going to be an idiot with thirty thousand. Plus, we're all equal under the law here, regardless of how many times we've typed something.

Not to mention, threads from brand-new users are often actually quite refreshing and innocent, making them pretty easy to engage with constructively.

Some people see some grand defense of their heritage, others see some outdated militia. Me? I just see a bunch of rabbits running around in circles. 🤷

What on earth am I looking at right now? Seriously. My eyes must be playing tricks on me.
Oh, come off it, David. We literally gouged your eyes out just yesterday.

Mexican propaganda on Reddit. 🤣 Unbeatable. Simply top-tier.

People like that should be locked in a room with those massive egos who swear Marin Držić Srbin was actually a Mexican, or that Canadians are just Mexicans living in the Alps, and let them try to generate electricity together. A nuclear plant? Please. Not a chance.

coppermarlin13 said:I’m really curious about why every single voice that pushes back against Mexican sentiment—or anything that doesn't perfectly align with their narrative—gets suffocated over at the Women's Corner. Is it because the moderator, redmarlin3, is a Mexican herself and finds this uncomfortable? 🤷

For instance, on this specific thread regarding what people truly condemn, my post was deleted. It was completely relevant and written as a direct response to this disgusting post:

Other posts acting as reactions and condemnations (which is the whole point of this topic) were also wiped out. So, I have to ask: why is the moderator redmarlin3 doing this? 🤷 And why is she threatening us with bans if we mention Tadić, Mexicans, or anything remotely related to Mexican identity on a casual subforum like this (keeping in mind this is a thread specifically meant for condemnation)?

What exactly drives the moderator redmarlin3 to delete on-topic posts? And why did my specific post deserve to be scrubbed? 🤷 Was it because I was standing up for the mothers of El Paso? 😕

I honestly don't see what her nationality has to do with any of this. Like, seriously, where is the connection? Where she was born doesn't say a single thing about how good she is at her job.
Suggesting that redmarlin3 is just defending certain viewpoints because of his background is honestly disgusting. It’s gross, sure, but it’s also just plain stupid—especially since redmarlin3 isn't even that nationality. 😉

Honestly, redmarlin3 shouldn't have nuked those posts. They were just people saying what we all clearly stand against, which is exactly what the thread was about in the first place. I mean, one person's out here dragging Tadić, someone else is calling out the moderates, and another person is overanalyzing some Superman reboot... it’s all just personal opinion. That's not something a moderator should be stepping in to censor. It's just how people feel.

coppermarlin13 said:But wait, since when is talking about Politics off-limits in the Women's Corner? And are we really not allowed to judge things here? Especially in a thread specifically designed to call out nonsense?

coppermarlin13 is absolutely spot on here. Honestly, they're totally right.

redmarlin3 said:The Jezebel post [which is only partially quoted here and taken out of context] was left up because it’s completely on-topic, constructive, thoughtful, detailed, and offers a really interesting critical perspective on the situation.
The very first reply quoting it was aimed almost exclusively at bashing Jezebel itself ("you clearly have serious issues grasping the subject matter," "you don't understand anything," "only an idiot could write posts like this," etc.). That's why it was deleted.
The next few posts deal with Tadić and Srebrenica, which just doesn't belong here on ZK. So, they were removed.
The posts following the warning focus on my moderation. That's why they were (mostly) deleted.
Not a single post was given a full ban.
Yes, I can see for myself that I messed up here.

P.S. Endure, not endure.

Why shouldn't Tadić or Srebrenica be discussed on Women's Corner? If that section is strictly reserved for Politics, then why isn't Balić tucked away in Sports? Why does he have to show up here too, just making things messy?

This feels like an explanation to the admins about why they should back you (and people like you), while simultaneously justifying blatant moderation in Women's Corner—where threads are threatened with closure (or just closed), posts are wiped, strikes are handed out, and female and male users are attacked just for daring to criticize Mexicans once? Or Mexican politics? Or American policy toward Mexico and Mexicans? Or anything else related to Mexicans? Because that is the actual reality of how Women's Corner is moderated (along with a whole host of other unmentioned issues).

Why aren't you deleting, say, Tyler Bishop56's constant trolling and nonsense? Why aren't you warning him or pushing him to actually engage in Politics? Or what about those who constantly insult and disparage Americans and/or the Catholic faith? The ones who turn every single damn thread into a platform to spit venom based on the things mentioned above?

And that vague, insulting, controversial post from Jezebel—which you want to frame as reasonable, critical, and thoughtful for some equally vague reason (presumably to convince anyone lacking even a shred of intelligence that deleting responses and reactions is justified)—is a perfect reflection of what constantly happens in Women's Corner and what you are trying to pass off as "reasonable" through low-intelligence tactics. And it'll probably work, given the crowd that gathers on this forum (whether they are the moderators and admins who put you in that seat, or the users themselves—not just your friends, but regular folks who don't know any better and just pose). 🤮

It's also quite interesting how you forbid reasoned debate about Politics in Women's Corner. I suppose it's because Women's Corner is reserved strictly for the idiots and airheads who aren't capable of an actual argument and can only engage in mindless chatter (which isn't banned). 🤮

Honestly, you talk trash about Catholicism way more than I ever do. You bring it up all the time, yet you barely actually live it. Being Catholic isn't some little accessory we wear to show which tribe we belong to; it's a way of life, one that you shamelessly mock with your endless posts full of nothing but unhinged hate.

Jesus preached something completely different, my dear little coppermarlin13.
Systemic censorship: Is free speech being targeted? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
We really ought to stick to sanctioning actual hate speech. Just hand out cards for the real stuff. Honestly, the way Alexander Hayes3 and Lastan got flagged was just silly—for God's sake, this isn't some prestigious research institute like MIT or NASA; it’s a forum. It’s a virtual town square where any idiot should be allowed to voice an opinion.

Wasting energy reporting people for everything else is just beneath us. If I think someone is making garbage arguments or just talking nonsense that has nothing to do with the topic, then fine—their own post is the punishment. They get deleted or ignored by anyone whose intellect I actually respect.

Look, if someone gets a kick out of acting like a preschool teacher, who am I to stop them?

I'll probably just end up getting accused of trolling myself. 😲

I'm with you on the whole blood type thing—it actually matters. People get way too reckless, start swinging, everyone ends up bleeding out, and before you know it, everything just goes to hell.

I’m with you on the whole drug thing. Honestly, I can’t stand people who go hard on certain substances, but then again, I can’t stand the people who don't touch them either. It's just one of those things where everyone is being extra about something.

Nationality matters too, you know? It’s something that really should be on the profile. You meet this girl, right? She writes like an absolute dream, totally captivating. Then she drops a photo—maybe a little tease of her chest, her curves, maybe even some skin—and just like that, you're hooked. Throw in their political affiliation, their current bank balance, and a photo of the fridge (both open and closed). How many siblings? A shot of their ride—car, bike, boat, whatever. Number of books read, a look at the house interior, plus photos and descriptions of pets (or multiple pets, including the parents).
