Decent enough, but nothing to write home about.

Look, at least don't ruin the Godfather series with some garbage sequels after they already trashed so many other franchises... so yeah, I'm voting no.

The third one's definitely the worst

I’m putting my vote on the first one,👍mostly for the acting, the script, how they built the lead character, and that tension. After that, I’d say the fourth part is next—solid plot, heavy action, gritty🙂 and it doesn't try to pass off mindless trash as cinema. The second and third entries are pretty dumb, but fun enough if you're younger, though the third one is definitely the weakest of the bunch.

First Blood: 9/10

I still remember it like it was yesterday... somewhere around Christmas back in '98. Me and a buddy were just killing time, wondering what to do, and decided to hit up the theater. We knew Snipes, so we figured, why not go see that Blade movie? We walked out of that cinema absolutely stoked.

That flick was an absolute blast. From the action beats to the directing and those fight choreographies—everything just hit. Honestly, my take hasn't shifted one bit since the first viewing. I still go back and get a kick out of it every single time.

One more thing... I've always said Blade was basically The Matrix before The Matrix even existed. They shared so many of the same vibes.
It’s like there's an entire different reality tucked away right underneath our feet—even Snipes calls it out at one point. Wake up. Seriously. This whole reality you're living in? It’s nothing but a layer of frosting. Beneath that sweet surface, there's a different world entirely—the actual one. If you plan on making it through, you'd better learn how to pull the trigger.

The guys were all decked out in leather, rocking dark shades—basically, the outfits were identical.

The fight scenes were pretty ahead of their time, too. They used this filming technique that hadn't really been seen in a Hollywood movie before... then a year later, The Matrix comes along and does the exact same thing.

Bullet Time... I mean, it didn't go nearly as hard as it did in The Matrix, but there was definitely one scene where they pulled it off.

I feel like Blade and The Matrix basically ripped off Terminator when it comes to the main characters. They’re both rocking that same tired look—black leather jackets and sunglasses. It's all the same vibe.

Cool movie, but they definitely went overboard with those special effects when the vampires explode.

This thread is for talking about those movies you're missing from your home collection—you know, if you're actually into collecting stuff on DVD, DivX, or Blu-ray...

So, just finished watching the fourth one... it wasn't bad, but I was expecting a bit more.

My main gripe? McClane isn't really that same smartass he used to be.

All in all, pretty solid.

Just rewatched the original trilogy.

Got the first and third ones lying around somewhere. The third one is solid during the first half while that Simon Says guy is messing with him over the phone, but then it drags a bit for me. I'll give the win to the original.😁

The second one is a little weaker, but still decent. Best part is definitely the ending where McClane blows up that plane full of terrorists.🙏

Time to finally check out the fourth one.🙂

If we're talking best sequels, I'd put Terminator 2 at the top. Maybe it's just because it was the first of the Terminator movies I saw, and man, it blew my mind.🙏The original is also phenomenal and way darker.🙂
