Grinderman - what an absolute explosion of energy! I honestly thought we’d never see that kind of raw, old-school intensity again—the kind you used to get from The Birthday Party or The Bad Seeds.
Bravo Nick 🙏 bravo Warren 🙏 bravo Martyn 🙏 bravo Jim 🙏

U2, so that means just today and tomorrow left.. 🙂
I honestly can't remember the last time a live set hit me this hard. The new arrangements? Absolutely flawless. There’s a stretch right after Dance with Nine Inch Nails where things drag a little bit, but the whole thing wraps up beautifully with that short People trilogy encore. Then they hit us with one more encore featuring The Birth of a Nation, Love is Love, and God is God. All in all, I'm pretty stoked. 😁
Wikipedia says 🙂 the plot falls right between the first and second movies, and naturally, Sienna Guillory is back as Jill Valentine 😁
Since the end of Resident Evil: Afterlife also leaves things hanging with Sienna, I guess we’ll be seeing her regardless of whether this is a prequel, a sequel, or a midquel. And honestly, I wouldn't complain about getting more screen time for Spencer Locke 😍
Hammer horror films are absolute genius to me. I grew up watching them, and even though my definition of a "good movie" has changed over the years, I can never truly let them go, regardless of what anyone says about their quality.
So, that seems to be the whole "issue" with why you didn't connect with Coppola. 🙂 If you grew up on Hammer horror, it’s hard for anything from later horror productions to actually creep you out. The stuff we were terrified of as kids is almost impossible to top once you've experienced those specific fears. We grew up, and then we just stopped being afraid. 🙂
