Neighbors is the upcoming release from Point Grey Pictures—the same production house behind this year's massive comedy hit, This Is the End. The story centers on a young married couple moving into a new home with their newborn, only to find themselves living right next door to a fraternity led by Zac Efron. The cast is quite the ensemble, featuring names like Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, David Francia, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. It’s set to premiere in the USA on May 9, 2014, where it will likely go head-to-head at the box office against Robert Downey Jr.'s new comedy "Chef" and yet another project from Tyler Perry. Nicholas Stoller is taking the helm as director.

The film made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival, and honestly—given how glowing the reviews have been—I’m feeling optimistic that it'll land a solid distributor here in the States.

Batman is hands down the best one on screen right now—and I’m fully expecting the new Superman to be just as stellar. It would be absolutely fantastic if they could pull off a new Green Lantern, maybe even Green Arrow or The Flash, eventually leading up to a Justice League film. Honestly, those are my absolute favorite DC heroes.

To me, this whole thing feels like a parody of the typical zombie genre—even though the actual plot involves a zombie named "R" who eats some young guy's brains and then somehow falls for the guy's girlfriend, which apparently starts changing the behavior of the other zombies.

This looks incredibly powerful—really stands out from the crowd. It’s definitely a must-watch. Though, if I recall correctly, I read somewhere a few months back that they actually offered the role to Shia Labeouf... honestly, thank God he isn't the one starring in this.

Ryan Gosling, Scarlett Johansson, and Michael Shannon were actually the director's first picks—instead of Tom Hardy, Jessica Chastain, and Guy Pearce. Personally, I find this specific cast much better suited for playing these gangsters.

R.I.P.D. is an action-comedy starring Ryan Reynolds. It was helmed by Robert Schwentke—the same director behind Red, Time Traveler, and Red Flight.
The premise is essentially this: A recently slain cop joins a team of undead police officers working for The Rest in Peace Department and tries to find The man Who murdered Him.

Perhaps this might actually breathe some life back into the horror genre; it certainly looks intriguing enough.

I have always had a soft spot for sci-fi films starring Will Smith, so this one is definitely on my watchlist—it’ll likely crush at the box office, though we’ll just have to wait and see how the critics react.

This marks the director’s big-screen debut—though, honestly, with Ashley Greene and Sebastian Stan leading the cast, there might actually be some potential here.
