Maybe the spin was an accident, sure—but he clearly saw an opening and decided to take it.☕

Daniil Kvyat is completely in the dark about being under investigation—he hasn't heard a single word regarding any supposed "incident" yet 🤣🤣

To be honest, it isn't even clear why there was a yellow flag in the first place.🤷
Nico Rosberg was way off the track—realistically, they could have just proceeded without waving anything at all...🤷

I honestly don't know either. 🤷 But in my opinion, he should have just left the car parked where it was; it looked more like an accidental mishap to me, so... I'm hearing now that there's an investigation underway, but I truly believe the verdict will just be a simple driver error rather than some intentional move to block anyone. As for that yellow flag? It seems pretty ridiculous to me, regardless.

swifttiger75 said:Why are you suddenly acting like this is such a huge deal?! Honestly, Formula 1 history is absolutely riddled with stuff like this—some of it isn't even that far back in the rearview mirror.

I just don't see why someone like Rosberg couldn't try to make up for a perceived lack of raw talent or pure pace by using tactics like that. I’m not saying he actually did, of course—perish the thought!—but it seems entirely plausible from a psychological standpoint.

If legends like Schumacher, Senna, or Prost were capable of pulling all sorts of questionable stunts, then why wouldn't Rosberg be able to do the same?

SC after the first corner 😁

I’m certainly glad we hit our peak, but—if I’m being honest—it’s a bit disheartening that the peak is actually this low.

As far as I can see, we won't see anything significant from Ferrari until 2015—and even then, who knows? Maybe Fernando Alonso won't even be behind the wheel by then, and frankly, I’m having a hard time believing they'll have a competitive car regardless.

Man, honestly—Hemić really brought this on himself by letting things get to a point where he could be (legally) taken down like this.

At the end of the day, Lewis Hamilton just needed to push as hard as possible—regardless of whether there was a yellow flag out there or not.

Things are starting to get a little heated over in the Mercedes garage—it definitely doesn't feel quite as friendly as it used to be 😁

As for Ferrari, just like I predicted, they're sitting in P3 on the grid. It’s a bit of a bummer, honestly—I’ll probably end up watching two world-class drivers fight tooth and nail just for a single point rather than actually battling for the win.

neonfox65 said:Because of that whole spying scandal involving Ferrari, they ended up walking away with both titles—and honestly, Kimi didn't have even a single percent of credit in that outcome.

Even the big boss over at Pilatus said himself that Fernando Alonso didn't actually earn those championships, so as far as I'm concerned, the debate is officially closed.🤣

If anyone is going to pull off a surprise, it’ll definitely be at the Monaco Grand Prix.

I have to give credit where it's due to Alonso, but I’m honestly leaning towards Ferrari reclaiming their spot on the third row during qualifying. It’s a bit of a bummer regarding the gearbox issue on Kimi’s car—thank goodness that headache cropped up during Practice instead of when it actually mattered.

Man, my two-cylinder actually hit 20,000 rpm once 😁

John Phillips82 said:Finally, some V8 power 🙂
I’ve been watching the NASCAR practice sessions—those 4.0L V8s screaming at 10,000 rpm are just something else. 😍
Honestly, my soul aches whenever I have to listen to those high-pitched V6 turbo engines.

Just listen to that V8 at 10,000 rpm... then try playing some old V10 era races where they were hitting 22,000 rpm 😁

darkmarlin16 said:If I'm remembering correctly, that happens during the pit stop while they're swapping tires.

Because, under the current rules, that’s actually allowed now.

Exactly—so basically, you just take a quick +5 or +10 second penalty, pull through the pits, and call it a day. But then, other times, a penalty hits you and suddenly your entire race is effectively over. It feels like the FIA has gone a bit soft lately, don't you think?😁

Does anyone know what kind of penalty Magnussen picked up today?
Well, Valtteri Bottas just officially wrote himself into the record books as the first driver to rack up penalty points.
I mean, can you really blame him? He's from Finland—he probably doesn't have any buddies over at the Department of Homeland Security to pull some strings and make those points disappear.

From what I gathered, he either got a 5 or 10-second stop, though I must have missed him serving it—I was likely drifting off to sleep during the broadcast.

Sometimes I feel genuinely bad for Felipe Massa... his entire career just seems to follow this same heartbreaking pattern.

John Ross55 said:Honestly, Clark, I have to hand it to you—that's some solid reasoning right there. As for everyone else getting all worked up... well, even that sponsored driver spent the entire race trailing behind Petrov back when that result actually meant something (maybe even a 🙂 title), so calling him a fraud just because of one race at the start of a new season? I'm honestly speechless.

Look, Alonso really dropped the ball when he wasn't allowed to push, and that's where everything was laid bare. Now, the Maestro can cruise along behind Mercedes and Red Bull and claim to be faster than Kimi, but let's be real—it doesn't actually mean much.

Jason Campbell70 said:Panic?
After just two races, the Grand Maestro is sitting only a single point behind this season's massive title favorite.

I'm almost in a state of panic. Almost. 🙂

Well, you might be—but only if you consider a win by a landslide to be a reason to worry...

You know what? Given how those Alonso fanboys act, I’m actually quite glad Vettel was ahead of him today—as per usual.😁

Well, honestly—it wasn't really any more or less expected than anything else from someone like Amanda Kelly, especially compared to everyone else...

Most people aren't actually rooting for Ferrari; they're just rooting for Alonso.
