Even the swastika was used in India as a symbol of peace, and the Romans used salutes that were later co-opted by Nazi Germany, but at the end of the day, there is absolutely no reason for someone to be shouting out colors associated with fascism and supporting those kinds of atrocities at a soccer match...

If they can't push it past 200, then honestly, I'm all for it... it’s better than pretending to be some kind of expert when you clearly don't know what you're doing. There were honestly so many incredible bands that shaped my childhood and followed me all the way through my early twenties, and I still find myself circling back to them today. I’m talking about legends like Queen, Talking Heads, Guns N' Roses, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, The Beach Boys, The Doors, Madonna, The Beatles—especially during that era with Whitney Houston—plus Guns N' Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, R.E.M., and so on... I still listen to most of them constantly.
But my very first, and by far greatest, love was the incomparable EKV 😍
Just thinking back, Honey-Colored Eyes was such an absolute obsession for me at one point, I actually went out and bought three different vinyl copies just because of that one song...

My husband's grandmother was originally from the Appalachia region. The Nationalists and the home guard burned her mother and three brothers alive right in their house in Gospić—all three boys were just children,,, and they did the same thing to all the other houses filled with civilians in the neighborhood.

Of course, everyone glorifies their own ideology, but I don't personally glorify anything, though generally speaking, I can't just come in here and represent my own view (given how sensitive these topics are, right?) by writing stuff like "well, the fascists were only slightly fascist" just because some third cousin of mine told me a story his grandfather passed down, and by the time it reached me, everything had been added to and taken away,,, or how that fascism could have been much more fine and humane if only Hitler hadn't murdered just a tiny bit less humanity, for heaven's sake... etc., etc... I can't do that, yet you'd want me completely removed from the forum. So, if I allow myself to indulge my inner masochist and comment—without insulting any Zionists or other interlocutors—by posting links to documentaries where anyone can be the narrator and speak from their own perspective about a country of peasants in the hilly North America, I don't see why that should bother the forum?!. 🤷.

And one more very specific thing: some forum members just don't have any arguments for or against, so they can't even slightly re-examine their own stances—instead, they just get stubborn and see everything in black and white... Yesterday, for instance, a user wrote a really educational post about a few factories and companies in his town, and how they operated back in America, and how far they could have gone if they had continued production and business in a democratic America. I am almost certain that only two or three of us active participants actually read the post to the end, while for others—and we all know who they are—they started seeing things flash before their eyes: "Yugo-lover," "Mexican-lover," "Stalinist paradise," blah blah blah, a hundred different labels... I can just see them lined up like smog clouds, one comment after another, just to troll you... It's just pointless.

And so...

urbantrucker5, you really need to look at this from another perspective for a second. I mean, what do you think it’s like for us older folks on here—and sorry bluecyclist64, I’ve always identified myself that way—to have to sit here and listen to these kids who act like perfect little patriots in public, sipping craft cider and blasting Ceca on their speakers, only to come online and spit on everything anti-fascist... It’s just a bit much, honestly, it makes my blood boil... and there are so many of them... just unprovable... for every one of you, there are ten of them, firing off opinions without a single fact or shred of evidence, just like a rapid burst of gunfire.

Unfortunately, this forum doesn't really host any constructive discussions anymore. Most people just show up ready to pour poison on anything that hasn't been hardwired into their brains from day one... If you happen to reject the current state of things or the way people live now, they just tear you down with this mindless, judgmental attitude.

My generation, the ones who lived through the war, the war took our innocence and gave us absolutely nothing in return... And we had everything back then, intelligence, land, the coast, children, parents, grandparents, we had friends, but today we have retirees living in containers, parents visiting graves, even the smart young people are trying to flee the country, and of course, most importantly, we have churches overflowing! Way to go, us.

And do you really think it's easy to just stay indifferent? If only it were that simple, but it isn't, you couldn't do it even with magic... I'm telling you, it's in my blood...

Honestly, I don't even care if people try to put me in a box anymore... I actually found myself agreeing with that bear from the North Pole one day—I can't quite recall which one—when we were debating the whole left versus right political divide... And look, it doesn't bother me when people toss around labels like "commie" or "socialist" or all those other outdated relics from the old systems Dr. Oetker used to run... what really gets to me is when people just start bombarding you with insults and heavy-handed epithets, when the vocabulary completely spirals out of control and they lose all sense of decency, letting all that negativity just explode until everything becomes so distorted that you start questioning why we even celebrate May 9th in the first place... Since Ask and everyone else have already laid out everything there is to say, I don't want to go circling back or making a scene by repeating myself, but I really am joining in on the plea for Santa Claus to hear our prayers... and not even for our own sake, or because we're selfish, but truly for the sake of what we call humanity...

Even the birds know we've been unfairly shut out from commenting on the latest episode and how the authorities handled it... and you can see from the view from an airplane, looking over the Himalayas or down at Avignon, just how much we all fought over those Bibics, yet here we are, still unable to find our footing again even after all this time.

So, to the Kroejsansko-forumski leadership, please, if not for anyone else, just let us back in for our own sake. 😍
