Movie theater pauses: Yay or nay? in Movies ·
In principle, I can't stand them. But yesterday on Superman, one of them appeared like an absolute goddess. I could barely pull myself away. 😬

Dammit, when did that Sundance Film Festival wrap up?
Best violent scenes? in Movies ·
Thinking about the level of violence... honestly, even today, I still wince when I remember MISERY—those wooden boards between her feet and that moment Kathy Bates snaps a leg with a sickening *CRACK*. It was brutal, man, and terrifyingly realistic. I could practically feel my own bones creaking 😬

Not everything needs to be a bloodbath to work 😛

Who was even talking about ruin? Honestly, Rajko Grlic probably pushed that narrative himself just to keep everyone on edge so nobody would mess with the programming 😬

It really feels like the journalists are just obsessed with him based on what they’re writing. Shouldn't they be keeping things cool and objective? 😕

ruggedmarlin15 said:I don't buy this idea that journalists have some universal love for the Sundance Film Festival. Honestly, it didn't even seem like the media coverage was particularly fond of the whole thing.

What does "fond" even mean here? Shouldn't you be objective?

Seriously though, all these journalists seem to have a massive crush on the Sundance Film Festival. Why even bother feeding them hand-outs? That's my point.😉

Honestly, I didn't realize someone in the press had actually fallen for one of those staged setups. 😕

ruggedmarlin15 said:I have no clue who actually cooked up this whole scandal stunt, but the short films following them were top-tier. The execution totally exceeded expectations. And man, think about how many journalists fell for it...

Yeah, just wonderful! I don't get why this "revenge" on journalists is necessary when they treat the Sundance Film Festival like some endangered species they're trying to protect. Did those reporters really deserve to be targeted like this? 😲 😲 😲

And why is the website so poorly maintained? I'm looking at it right now, and the photos from last year look like they haven't been touched since then. There's probably a reason for that, isn't there? 😉 It's a complete joke!

ruggedmarlin15 said:I'm still a bit incoherent, so feel free to keep the questions coming...

Listen, I actually have a question for you, provided you promise to stay this incoherent. Honestly, I’m dying to know: whose brilliant idea was it to stage those fake scandals involving Darija and Nina? It’s such a "genius" move that I really need to know whose brain cooked that one up.

Respectfully yours.

And regarding Vis—since Rajko Grlic didn't get his way with the Vis situation near Motovun because the actual owners wanted it back... is he planning something new near the new pier? 😬

Breakfast on Pluto — did some gay lobby group pull strings to win this award? 😕

Fine, I’m glad to hear NGL managed to snag at least one shot in Libertás. I guess even the great Veljko finally got spooked by something. 😬

So, who’s actually in Motovun right now? If you aren't, you really ought to read this fascinating little piece written by 🙏Dr. Fric 🙏

What follows is just the intro. Surely you'll click through for the full text 😉

The Film festival starting soon is basically a mandatory appearance for anyone in Washington, D.C. who actually cares about their social standing and public image. This year, the Sundance Film Festival has been hyped up with massive media coverage. Beyond giving Americans a chance to take a quick inventory of the Washington elite, we’ll also get to witness the organizers' "solidarity" with the walls of Motovun—operating on the principle of "one man's charity is our sacrifice."

That line from the song “Turbo Catholic” by the legendary Francesca Blaskovic perfectly captures the "humanity" and benevolence we’ve seen during the recent media blitzes from the festival organizer, Igor Mirkovic. As the alpha and omega of this cinematic spectacle—which apparently has a deep humanitarian core—he’s been publicly wailing about the fate of the Motovun walls. The organizers warned the public that the walls would crumble if action isn't taken. Since Americans are world champions at hosting humanitarian events, the cultural elite jumped into action immediately to "save" the walls.

Sam Ruiz7 said:I just placed an order for August. I have a tiny prescription, so we’ll see if dropping three grand on this turns out to be a genius move or just a massive waste of money. $0.00 Either three thrown away. Or what? $0.00 Looking out the window.

Come on, just give me the results already. 🙂 I heard that was total garbage, so now I’m curious. Maybe they could actually produce something decent over at Walgreens?
A poll without Sedlar? 😲 Unbelievable.

The entire American version of The Ring. Just hearing the name Samara gives me chills.😱I couldn't even look at that ending in the well, and when she finally crawled out of the TV, I had to cover my eyes. What was I thinking? Total chicken 😬

Libertarian Party in Movies ·
Nicholas Hill5 The user said:The latest updates from the party leadership are out, and frankly, they’re exactly what you’d expect. They’re doubling down on their platform, pushing that same old rhetoric about sovereignty and local control. Is anyone actually surprised? They seem convinced that their specific brand of populism is the only way forward for the country. It’s a bold strategy, if you consider ignoring the shifting political winds "bold." Are we really supposed to believe this path leads anywhere other than more gridlock? It’s the same cycle every single time. New slogans, same tired promises. At what point does the repetition stop being a campaign tactic and start being a lack of actual ideas?

Are you kidding me? Unbelievable!

He didn't die. He just fell asleep. 😬

Don't worry, Veljko Bulajic is still kicking. You can bet our local directors wouldn't miss a single chance to have their say over his grave. 😉
