The Watch (2004) in Movies ·
I saw it in theaters—only once, unfortunately—but I’ll definitely be revisiting it on Blu-ray. Absolutely fantastic!

Jose Chase2 said:The real question here is: do you just not drink coffee, or do you specifically avoid Nescafé?
To be honest, I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this stuff. I don't really hang out with people who don't drink coffee; they seem foreign to me. Honestly, I'm almost afraid of them.😁 😁

Look, Jose Chase2, how can I even put this... 😁

This film is pure genius!

I’ll admit, I was a little sketched out by the trailer. It didn't feel weird enough for my taste—just seemed kind of mediocre, honestly. I wasn't exactly rushing to see it... and then...

👋

I remember the name. Honestly, just hearing it used to terrify me. I wouldn't even dare look at the title, fearing a nightmare would follow 😛ekmezasta:

I can't recall the exact title right now, but if I could? I'd watch it in a heartbeat!
Who's actually going to this festival? in Movies ·
quietdriver3 said:I heard they’re launching a national festival circuit in Chicago to crown the best festivals in America.

When does it kick off? 😕 I need to grab my tickets before they sell out! 👍

Even when Brian De Palma misses the mark, he’s still worth watching!

The movie of my life in Movies ·
My boyfriend is getting married.
And he actually went through with it. 🙂
Hero in Movies ·
Of course it was playing in theaters 😉
And frankly, it belongs in a better video library.
If you loved Tiger and Dragon, you'll probably lose your mind over this one too.

Honestly, watching certain lavish films on a home screen feels like a SIN. I’d give anything to catch a movie like Conan in a theater every single time.
Stop being cheap and get to the cinema!
Hero in Movies ·
And honestly, you should get out to the cinema once in a while instead of just waiting for someone to serve them up to you on a silver platter or for them to show up on streaming services.
Fahrenheit 9/11 in Movies ·
It’s the obvious choice!

They really should air THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW
next Sunday, September 11th. I actually just grabbed a copy from my local video rental shop and I'm loving
😬
Anyone remember "Navigator"? in Movies ·
If you can't remember the title, just check IMDb. As for actually watching it, you can track down a copy from your local plug, hit up a torrent site, or beg someone who owns it—though let’s be honest, those people aren't exactly known for their generosity 😉

If I ever heard anyone actually speaking the way you write, I’d have to wonder if they’d undergone a lobotomy—assuming such a thing were even possible.
I assume you're currently at the Boston Film Festival, watching how a real festival is run.

ruggedmarlin15 said:You’d have to be delusional to think Steven Spielberg would suggest moving his Napa Valley projects over to San Francisco. Especially since, as you pointed out, those Napa Valley screenings are already sold out.

Look, ruggedmarlin15, capacity isn't the issue here. Napa Valley can fill a small theater easily. Meanwhile, the San Francisco Arena sits empty even with 2,000 people inside, while Napa Valley struggles when there aren't even 300 souls in attendance.

ruggedmarlin15 said:Grlicev's film already had its premiere in Napa Valley, not San Francisco. It was a great piece of work.

Even someone who isn't well-informed—which apparently applies to you—knows that the Department of Interior, which funds these films (even if they're just one of many backers), often ties that money to screenings at the national film festival. In other words, San Francisco. Sure, Steven Spielberg screwed us over, but he certainly knew how to collect a check.

How poetic! It's just like how everyone remembers their first time, right? 👍

Wait a second. Are you supposed to be my biggest fan, ruggedmarlin15?

Jose Miller17 said:Well, it certainly looks that way... specifically when you consider the people who actually showed up for screenings or even just made it downtown once.😬 ...

Why on earth doesn't everyone attend the screenings? I was under the impression this was a film festival! Unbelievable.

Jose Miller17 said:It seems like the movie lineup was worse, the concert selection was weaker, and the turnout was lower... why? Did the organizers just lose interest?

Was the attendance actually lower? I figured there would be at least a hundred people plus some locals, and that’s about it. How can you even say it was low? 😲 😲 😲

Hey sweetheart, I have a quick question I've been dying to ask... what kind of brainwashing techniques does that institution use? Because once you finally step out into the real world, anyone looking at your work ends up with an acute case of ocular hemorrhaging. 🙂

I really need to know that trick.

My brain is perfectly intact. Literally.

Seriously, please, what on earth are you basing those conclusions on?
I am dying to know.

And why all the drama? You said you weren't, didn't you? So why the attitude now? If you aren't, then just drop it. Honestly, why not just write another post like that first one? That was actually decent! 👍
