Maybe 8GB of RAM should be enough, I guess. 300 MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr III, 1GB. 500-600 Maybe it's worth looking at the Samsung 840, 120GB—I guess. 450 The XFX 850 w Pro power supply— 450-500 The Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 case— $100 I'm really not sure what to make of this Razer BlackWidow mechanical keyboard.
You messed up a few things, I guess. 😁
This case is brand new, I guess. $367So, you can. $200 I guess we'll see what happens. Maybe. Maybe an SSD is worth it? I guess we'll see. $133 I guess we're talking about CPU coolers now? $67The new guy was around... $150I guess Noctua is getting pretty close to matching them when it comes to cooling performance. Maybe the keyboard is around $350? I guess.$133
You should probably at least put in... $1333 Starting off, you can too. $1400 Just thinking about this for a potential downgrade.
WD red is designed specifically for Small mi Systems that have 1 to 5 Drive bays that are built for reliability. These drives undergo heavy testing to ensure they can handle the constant grind of a 24x7 setup, meeting all the specific needs found in home or small business setups. Basically, you might not even need them; you could probably just grab a Seagate instead, which I think is faster.
You could probably just grab that Seagate 3 TB or maybe spend a little more on a Seagate IronWolf 3 TB; I think they're actually some of the cheapest options at Best Buy right now.😬
You don't really need that Intel chip. There isn't much room for an upgrade later on, and honestly, the whole platform ends up being a bit pricier. It has slightly better integrated graphics, but the processor itself is weaker since it's single-threaded.
Transcend 8GB DDR3L 1600 U-DIMM 2Rx8 The Thermaltake TR2 450W Bronze power supply. Maybe consider the AMD Athlon x4 840 (3.1GHz, 4MB, 65W, FM2+), just boxed up and ready to go. The MS Carbon case, just the chassis without the power supply. I guess it’s an MSI AMD A68HM-E33 motherboard. Seagate BarraCuda Hard Drive (3.5", 1TB, 32MB, SATA III-600)
Total: $726 I guess I'm just checking in.
Even if I stretch the budget to its absolute limit, settle for a slightly lower-end motherboard, and make sure to include 8GB of RAM, the Hexa+ still seems to be out of reach.
The power supply and motherboard are both pretty much toast. You might have to part with 4GB of RAM just to afford replacements down the road.
At the very least, grab an Asrock 980 de U3S3 and a Forton Hexa+ 400W (though I think they're out of stock at Micro Center right now). Also, maybe ditch the current cooler and go with a Spira Kepler Rev2.

That Silverstone unit is basically just their office-grade stuff, similar to the Corsair VS series, though maybe with slightly better capacitors. There's a version without the -230 that's been bumped up, which I guess would be the next step up in quality toward the STxxF-ESB models.
