So, Duncan didn't see any action yesterday, and if he actually suits up today, I'm thinking his minutes are going to be pretty limited. Honestly, they're playing at home against a struggling Portland team that they could probably dismantle even without him. But since he sat out yesterday, there's a good chance he just gets about 20 minutes of run. I really don't see him forcing shots or anything, so I wouldn't bet on him clearing more than 15 points.
I’m looking at taking the over on Gay's 18.5 points. They're facing Cleveland, and Memphis is really fighting to stay in the hunt for that 4th seed against the LAC.
They don't even have the Charlotte under available in the sportsbook right now.😁
Joshua Gonzalez33 said:If you want me to share a little bit of wisdom with you all, here it is: it’s worth just betting on what’s actually going to happen, whether it’s an over or an under. For example, tonight you should look at these...
Carmelo Anthony over 27.5 @1.85 -The guy is in incredible form. In his first game at MSG this season, he dropped 37 on Boston. With Lin and Stoudemire out, he’ll probably go out there tonight and hunt for another 35+. Besides, Pierce isn't exactly known for lockdown defense, especially now that it's not the Playoffs.
Parker under 17.5 @1.85 -His last four games were 8, 14, 13, and then that 4—which was against the Lakers, of all teams. He's just not feeling it lately, and ever since Ginobili came back, he's been taking way fewer shots. Plus, statistically speaking, the under hits much more often than the over, so I’d rather take that shot.
But wait, why isn't Melo playing starting PF??? If he isn't, Pierce won't be guarding him! (I know when they played Miami, LeBron was on him and Haslem stayed out to cover Fields)🤷
The Lakers at +3.5? Are you guys serious? Last time out, Bynum and Gasol absolutely bullied them on the boards. I honestly don't see why we wouldn't see a repeat of that dominance.
Bynum 20.5 over? Honestly, I don't think anyone can stop him right now. Duncan is just too old, and is Pop really going to sit there and let them get eaten up without sending a double team?
Are you kidding me right now? Every single damn night it’s the same story... someone get the Spurs defense together, please! 😠
aaaaaaaaaaa and now they've dropped below 10........ man, Harris can't hit a three-pointer to save his life, but suddenly he's draining them from downtown? Seriously?
Chris Forsberg: Getting an update from my buddy Peter May over here: KG actually made it through the shootaround, so he’s been bumped up to a probable status. Also, Pietrus says he'll Play vs. Pistons. Just heard this about 12 minutes ago!
Come on, boldgull20, why don't you give us your take? Tell us which pair you think actually deserves to go through, and I'm not even talking about today but say, maybe tomorrow?
What on earth was CJ Watson playing at last night? Good grief, what an absolute idiot. He takes 23 shots. Twenty-three! If a bench warmer took 23 shots, I’d be losing my mind, but since it's him? Nothing. At least if it were Kobe, he wouldn't let someone like this take that many attempts. Maybe if he actually pushed the ball more like Deng, he might have found his rhythm, but instead, he just plays like a total clown.
Anyway... My goodness, I just caught the end of the Utah game. Jefferson was looking like a complete disaster—what kind of garbage shots was he sinking? It's unbelievable how he managed to score over Gasol with that ridiculous one-handed push...
So, what should I actually put a bet on today? Honestly, the selection looks pretty thin, unless we're all just looking at that Gay vs. Amar'e Stoudemire matchup?
