Look, Ethan Garcia8, just take the damn antibiotic—sometimes it’s honestly the lesser of two evils compared to everything else you're dealing with. 🙂

Take me, for example. I almost never touch headache pills. But when things actually get ugly? I swallow them down fast. I'm not letting a headache mess with my head. 😁

It’ll happen eventually😉

Thanks for the schedule 😍
I'm heading up there this Tuesday—just not sure if it’s smarter to hang out right outside his office and wait for him to show up personally, or if I should just push through with the nurse 🙂
Any advice? 🙂

Sounds promising 🙂
Gonna head out next week and give it a shot.
Got a bedridden patient at home, so hopefully they actually show up. 😁

Good to hear 🙂
Let's say things are, uh... urgent 🙂
The X-ray won't be ready for five days, but I'd try to squeeze them for it as soon as humanly possible after that.

And I’m not talking about just any doc—I mean Dr. Miroslav Hašpl (the guy who did Janica’s knee surgery).
Word is he pulls shifts at a private practice too, somewhere outside of San Francisco, though I haven't pinned down the exact clinic yet.
If anyone has the scoop, please help me out (feel free to DM if you'd rather stay low profile).
Thanks 🙂

Honestly, BMI is pretty much useless if you're a bodybuilder or just tall as hell.
By those numbers, my boyfriend—who’s 6'5" and about 240 lbs—is pushing a BMI of 30, but he's nowhere near being overweight.

Motherhood stalls growth? 🙄 Give me a break.

Anyway, what exactly are we talking about when you say "motherhood stalls development"?

What do you mean, electro-spiritual?
I'm neither one nor the other. 😁

accumulated Yin. All those organs are Yin, so menstruation would be Yin too. I can't say for certain, but when I sit and think about it, my gut tells me it's definitely Yin.😁

I get all that—it's just a matter of finding the grit to unlearn everything they shoved down my throat growing up.

Fair enough, maybe 😁
Then again, I see it as something deeply grounded—something physical that manifests and flows "downward."

Never actually read his stuff—not even once. 😁
I mean, honestly—I think motherhood is just one of those things that totally stalls your own growth.
Not that I’m saying every woman should jump into motherhood—not at all. Everyone's gotta do their own thing.

Look, I think menstruation is just yin. It makes sense, really—you see those elite female athletes who build massive muscle mass; they lose their feminine side, their period stops... that's the yin leaving. So, if you take estrogen, you're essentially adding yin back into your system to jumpstart that cycle again.

Look, I know exactly what kind of people you're talking about—but honestly, what am I supposed to do? The doctors basically hand you a prescription and tell you to swallow it, like they don't give a damn about the spiritual side of things. It’s all just chemistry to them. 😁
I'm about ready to walk away from the doctors and the meds. Just... done. Enough is enough.

Hmm. But if I start stacking more names in there, where does all that soul go?

We're talking about elite athletes or girls struggling with anorexia. In those specific cases, losing your cycle doesn't actually trigger an estrogen drop in the same way people think. It's just... different.🙂

Some people act like reproduction is just for the uninitiated. It’s almost pretentious, isn't it? I remember reading this old bit about how energy works—sort of like how Carlos Castaneda used to argue—suggesting that when a woman gives birth, a literal portion of her vital essence transfers to the child. So, if you follow that logic to its conclusion... well, you see where this is going.🙂

What exactly would you even mean by "jang" when talking about a period? I'm sitting here staring at my screen, trying to wrap my head around that specific phrasing. Is it a vibe? A mood? Some kind of weird slang I missed while I was busy reading old biographies? Honestly, if we're talking about the sheer, unadulterated chaos of a monthly cycle, there are a million ways to describe it. It’s like being stuck in a permanent traffic jam on the I-95 during rush hour—just constant, irritating friction with no end in sight. Give me some context here. What's the angle?

I lost mine at 15 because of endless, constant blocks. Now I’ve been on hormone therapy for eight years straight, and honestly, I’m not feeling it.

Quincy Jones:
We’re talking about enough energy to make you leak everywhere—it's wild—but if that stuff actually hit the sixth chakra, you'd reach enlightenment. Look, I'm not saying a woman *has* to stop her period to get there, but it would definitely make the ride a lot smoother. Even Taoist texts suggest that pausing menstruation basically halts the aging process for women. You keep all that estrogen in play instead of burning through it. So, ladies... just food for thought.
Honestly, this whole thing is tripping me up.

So many women deal with amenorrhea, which leads to masculinization—probably way too much yang in the system. Then they take various pills that pump them with extra estrogen while simultaneously blocking the pineal gland, if you ask me. And then the pineal gland just stops functioning.

So where does that leave us? If a woman is working on raising her menstrual 😁 energy, does that mean she can't—or shouldn't—get pregnant?

But then again, the period itself is yang 🤔 Hmm.

shadowcobra13 said:Think of menstruation as a massive surge of energy—an outpouring of all those emotional build-ups that happen because of a biological "nesting conflict" occurring deep within your system. You didn't conceive, so your body essentially goes through a reset after preparing for it. It’s an objective truth that women possess a much sharper intuition than men, offering a greater capacity to tap into their inner selves and reach true self-actualization, though they inherently operate from a Yin perspective.
However, that surplus of energy doesn't have to be wasted; it can actually be transformed through a sort of alchemical process. There is this specific exercise called the Deer. It’s designed to halt the flow by redirecting that energy upward from the second chakra instead of letting it just bleed out externally.

Interesting. That’s pretty much how I saw it too. 🙂

Jamie Wilson3 said:Everyone born into this Christian-rooted "civilization" is guilty by default. You’re guilty just because you exist. The very foundation of your being is built on guilt, which is how they turn people into passive slaves. It’s how they punish us—by making our existence itself a crime.

Honestly, if I could just strip away the whole baptism sacrament and be done with it, I totally would.

Kyle Nelson2 said:So... I’m sitting here having coffee with this girl from the forum, just talking through life stuff, and this one "theory" kind of popped into my head.

I guess I wonder... how much are we, as a society—as a civilization (though maybe this only applies to Abrahamic religions)—basically hardwired to act out of guilt? Like, is every sense of freedom we feel actually just us releasing ourselves from that guilt, or maybe forcing it onto someone else?

Let's look at it like this...
Religion...
From the time we're kids, we're taught that Adam messed up and now we're all somehow responsible for it. So, Bog is great and full of love, sure, but he leaves this seed of self-destruction inside us... we're the ones at fault, and we have to make amends for it.

And then there's upbringing. We're usually raised to be "good," and if we act morally or positively, we get rewarded with attention, approval, a hug, whatever. It's basically conditional behavior. It's not that we're inherently guilty, but we feel guilty if we don't act the way we're supposed to...

How much does guilt hang over our heads in everyday relationships, like some constant Sword of Damocles? We won't treat someone poorly because we have this mental click that it's wrong, and our conscience starts eating us alive.
Or that feeling of guilt when we aren't living up to the perfect image we try so hard to project to the world.

I’ve run into these scenarios myself, and honestly, I've even taken advantage of them before.

For example:

1) A while back, I was in this quasi-relationship with a girl. Even though my feelings were stronger and I was being totally selfless—which, let's face it, I always am—she wasn't reciprocating. Eventually, she did something shitty, and I just turned around and walked away. It felt easier for me because, in my mind, she was labeled as "bad" (and it's easy to walk away from someone you've labeled bad), while she was left haunted by this massive sense of guilt because of her own vanity and the fact that I refused to talk to her.
Then, months later, I said one single thing to her that lifted that guilt away... and she went right back to her old self. Just like I thought. She didn't learn a damn thing.
The pain didn't serve any purpose for growth, and my—unfortunately accurate—hunch that she'd show her true colors played out perfectly.

2) I was talking to a friend who cut ties with her parents because they did something wrong—they were immoral or dishonest for a moment.
She felt this huge weight lift off her shoulders and could finally walk away with a clear conscience.

But it makes me wonder: how much of that was really *her*, and how much was her just acting as an object rather than a subject? How much was her ego pulling the strings and giving her permission to leave?

Personally, I think it is...

But anyway, she's just an example of those mental clicks we all carry around.
That urge to avoid feeling guilty instead of just acting how we actually want to act.

Because, frankly, we just want to...

Wasn't Crawley right when he said the only Bog a person needs is themselves?
I have a feeling that...

Not that I'm saying I'm an egoist... more like, I'm just being who I am.
Not doing good just to boost my reputation in someone else's eyes, but just because I want to do good... or bad... or whatever.

Well... he was 👍

And honestly, I think guilt is just an unnecessary weight to carry.

Some kids might get completely crushed by it, but most—thankfully—make it through and come out stronger on the other side 😉

Then head back 😁 😁
