Nathan Morris3 said:What you wrote is basically the same as saying you spent illegal $3.25. Yeah, obviously the UP doesn't monitor all of that. At least not if you're spending it on things they don't track. I guess the point here isn't really about stopping the shadow economy anyway, though someone who only has underground income might theoretically run into trouble. But then again, in the US, it's pretty easy to wash cash with maybe 10% in costs or less. It's easiest if you own property in Florida; for just $167 you could probably clean $5.00 😁

But that’s exactly my point. Obviously, nobody with half a brain is actually going to do what I suggested; they'll do it the way you described instead. But if someone actually moves money from one account to another, they're going to run into trouble because the IRS will assume they did exactly what I laid out in my last post, and then they'll be stuck playing defense trying to prove otherwise...

Nathan Morris3 said:I don't really see an issue there, honestly. You can clearly see the payout in one bank and the deposit in the other. Maybe a problem could arise if you're carrying cash from a foreign account and trying to deposit it into a US bank. You'd probably need to keep all those receipts handy.

And regarding the gambling stuff, if you don't get a receipt or a statement, I guess that would look like some shady, illegal business.

But honestly, that shouldn't be enough to fly. If it is, then this whole system is basically a joke.
For instance, I could just pull $3333 out of my account, blow through it, and then (whether it’s the same account or a different one) deposit some dirty cash from $3333 while claiming it’s just a match for that first withdrawal. You could pretty much justify anything that way, which makes the entire setup feel totally pointless...

I don't know how things work in other countries, but from where I'm sitting, there are some massive gray areas here.
For instance, once you finally explain where your money is coming from, does that cover just the past transactions, or are you set for the future too?
Take someone who mentioned they get their paycheck at one bank and then immediately wire the whole thing over to another account just to dodge fees or whatever... the IRS is going to start waving red flags pretty fast. It looks like that person is pulling double wages every single month. Once they explain their setup, is that a one-and-done deal, or will they be getting flagged again every few months because the pattern keeps repeating?
Then there’s the headache of gambling winnings. Apparently, people aren't getting official payout slips, which sounds sketchy to me. If that's the case, how are you even supposed to prove where that cash actually came from?

Jonathan Sanchez7 said:I mean, there’s gotta be a legitimate way to justify income to the IRS while still keeping things relatively anonymous when you actually collect the cash, right? Take sports betting, for example. I’ve been betting quite a bit myself over the last eight years, and my payouts have always been handled in cash, which keeps things private. And honestly, who’s stopping me from just depositing that cash into my checking account? Even my biggest wins—we’re talking around $5000—were all settled in cash. Since the bookies handle the taxes on winnings at the point of payout, what's the actual issue? How are you supposed to explain to the tax man that it’s gambling winnings from a sportsbook, or maybe some perfectly legal action at a casino? Or even those slot machines? As far as I know, most of that stays pretty anonymous still.

It might be "anonymous" in the sense that they don't have your ID on file, but surely you get some kind of receipt or payout slip? (I wouldn't know, I don't mess with sportsbooks or casinos)

Just leave that Spark router alone and set up your new one as an access point instead.

Is Spotify Premium worth it? in IT Support ·
There’s no downloading. Because if they let you do that, you could just grab a month of Spotify Premium, download an entire library, cancel the sub, and listen to everything for free forever. That’s not how this works. The whole point is that you only have access while you're actually paying for it...

DDR4-2666 is supposed to be running at that frequency. Where does it actually say it needs to stay at 2133 MHz? 🤷

Hey ironcyclist58, you trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit or the 32-bit version?
The 64-bit should handle GPT since it works with BIOS... but the 32-bit won't support it.

It really just depends on which bank issued your card. Around here, they usually handle authorization through a token or a card reader. Your best bet is to just give your bank a call...

From what I can see in the specs, that printer doesn't even support Windows XP.
You’re looking for a router, not an AP. An AP is basically invisible at the IP layer by definition.
darkowl72 said:I don't have enough experience to weigh in on your second question, so I’d just stick to logic like you're doing. What you should do right now is save two or three different versions from the original files. Storage isn't exactly breaking the bank these days, so it gives you some much-needed peace of mind.

If you take a look over here:

http://forums.support.roxio.com/topi...-on-projector/

you'll see that the most important factor is actually which projector you're using and what its specs are—basically, what the damn thing can actually support. If you know those limits, just tailor the resolution, quality, and file size to match the projector's requirements.

The real headache is that those pro codecs they usually ask for? They’re ridiculously expensive.
I doubt you're gonna find much help here. This is more of a question for actual video pros, so you might have better luck over at Audio and Video Production.
