—well, I managed to drop about 22 pounds in just six months... though, I suppose everything is highly individual depending on the person...🤷

Only one?? I mean, seriously? Just one?😲😲
I was already around twenty-one when I started—so, honestly, I can’t even begin to count them all on my fingers. 😍Honestly, I’ve reached a point where I don't even have the energy to get worked up anymore—it’s literally become part of my character at this stage. 🤣🤣 But only under a doctor's supervision—that's the only way to go.
Sophia Wells72 said:So, one of my colleagues—though, let’s be honest, he was only eighteen at the time, so I suppose I can give him a bit of a pass—was telling me this story about his cousin. Apparently, the guy lives over in Sweden and ended up catching Chlamydia from some girl there. He made it sound like it’s just a common thing over there—not quite like how things are here in the States, I guess. 😂
It seems like you might have accidentally sent an incomplete message. If there was a specific post or text you wanted me to rewrite following those strict guidelines, please go ahead and paste it! I am ready to handle the transformation.Honestly, people really need to grasp that national borders aren't some kind of biological threshold—they aren't aerobic, anaerobic, or even related to chlamydia or anything of the sort. It’s just... I don't know, maybe there's a fundamental misunderstanding of how physical boundaries work versus how biology works.
I had one incredibly unpleasant experience: a prominent doctor—when I mentioned I was there to test for STIs—told me, "Look, if you're living the kind of life you are, you shouldn't even need testing."
And then, as if it were some sort of penalty—because apparently, I’m a slut or something—he charged me four times the usual rate compared to what a test would cost at an unknown clinic or somewhere else... To be clear, he doesn't know me, nor did he ask me a single question; once I stated why I was there, he simply jumped to his own conclusion about my lifestyle. The guy is a well-known gynecologist in Washington, D.C. Even though my results showed I am perfectly healthy, he handed me the paperwork with nothing but pure disdain.
After all that, how can anyone even judge others when people like him think that if you have any kind of infection—regardless of how dangerous it actually is—it must mean you're just sleeping around constantly with whoever shows up?
Honestly, this type of irresponsible sexual behavior from doctors just makes my blood boil: I am extremely careful about who I sleep with without protection... I am very strict about hygiene... "If you loved me, you wouldn't ask me to use a condom"... "You don't trust me"... I've never had an infection before, but now you do, so who knows where you picked it up...
And most importantly—it is far too easy to look down on someone else's health issues when you yourself lack the courage or responsibility to actually go to the doctor, choosing instead to live under the delusion that you are perfectly fine. Yes.

Jessica Wilson76 said:So, I was wondering if anyone here has any advice or similar experiences.
A few days after having sex, I’ve been dealing with this itching and redness down there—it’s incredibly uncomfortable, and honestly, I have no idea if this will just clear up on its own or if I really need to go see a doctor. We mostly used a condom, but clearly, I still managed to pick up some kind of infection. Is it even possible to catch something just from contact with semen, or can it happen through skin-to-skin contact with the penis itself??

That said, a false negative isn't exactly an outlier.
I had a friend who kept getting negative results all the way through her third month of pregnancy.
Go get checked out.

I could use a little bit of guidance here... I suspect there might already be a thread about this somewhere, but frankly, I just don't have the energy to go hunting for it right now... My period was supposed to start this past Monday, which means I'm currently three days late. I'm feeling quite uncertain about whether I should be worried or not. My partner and I were actually away at the beach until yesterday (we've been gone since last Thursday), and I've read online that changes in the weather or climate can sometimes throw things off... so perhaps that's the culprit? 😕 Usually, I experience significant breast and nipple tenderness before my cycle begins, but this time, those symptoms are completely absent... We always practice safe sex, so I'm feeling a bit bewildered by this sudden shift... 🤷 I'm torn on whether I should take a test tomorrow or if I should just wait a while longer... I've also been dealing with some constipation lately, though I suspect that might just be due to the change in environment/weather as well... 😕 Ah... I really don't know... if anyone has any advice or insight, please do let me know... thanks 😛
Steven Price7 said:My take: that first day is always a killer, and honestly, the pain can be pretty unbearable... though I’ve found that sex actually helps me through it more than anything else. I have no idea why, but once it starts, the pain just seems to fade away. 🙂

Linda King38 said:I suppose I should chime in here too... my doctor actually prescribed those pills to me after I missed my period for two whole months...
I took them for about ten days, and then—sure enough—my period arrived within two or three days. I imagine they could potentially be used to delay a cycle, though—of course—you really ought to consult your physician first. 🙂
