I run a small sole proprietorship and have my standard business checking account, but I decided to set up myPOS to handle card payments. The weird thing is, they opened a whole new account for the service under a Bulgarian routing number—just how it works when you sign up with them.

How much access does the IRS actually have to an account like that, and honestly, should they even be looking at it?

myPOS told me they’d send over a monthly statement for my accountant, but I'm sitting here wondering if that's really enough to stay on the right side of things. 🤔

Think I finally figured out what happened... looks like a competitor flagged me. Basically, this other outfit doing the exact same thing I do has a page using my business name. It seems they’ve been sitting on that name longer than I have, except their page doesn't actually match their legal business name, whereas mine does. Anyway, they wiped my page clean—all my reviews and followers just gone. I had over 400 people following me, while they only have about 200 😢

Not really sure how to play this 😢

I haven't seen a single email, seriously, nothing at all. It’s been two days since I paid them to run some ads for my business, and now I'm completely locked out of my own company page. I set my wife up as the admin, but even she can't get in to manage anything.

It’s been an hour now and I’m completely locked out of my profile. It keeps asking for this SMS verification code, so I type the numbers in, but absolutely nothing happens.

Then I tried logging in using my wife's phone and still nothing—no luck at all. To make matters worse, she tried looking me up on Meta and it’s like I don't even exist anymore, as if I was just wiped off the face of the earth.🤷

I haven't posted anything weird or anything; honestly, I've been super careful because I use my account strictly for work.

I've got my business page up too, which is still active, but what's the point if I can't get into the main account? It’s even more frustrating because I actually just paid for some ads.

That's basically why Musk was sitting down with the Biden administration a while ago to talk about Universal Basic Income—whether people are working or not—because those jobs are definitely disappearing, and places like Scandinavia 🤔 are already testing out models like that for the unemployed, since they're predicting up to 50% of the global population could end up in that boat in the coming years.

And just a side note, mortality rates tend to climb when people lose their sense of purpose through work (look at how the Japanese work the longest and live the longest).

The world is at a massive turning point, so this whole thing goes way deeper than just some basic economic theory.

My take on what she did right?
