I’d honestly suggest we scrap this whole multi-campaign voting system moving forward, because let's face it, everyone just ends up voting for their own favorite clique, which basically just serves to tank the chances for any albums we don't already love...
It’s a solid watch and clearly well-directed, but let’s be honest—it isn't exactly breaking new ground or offering anything groundbreaking... The tension stays high enough that most people won't find themselves bored, I suppose. There are two massive plot holes in the script that just don't sit right with me: firstly, the way Young-Sook wakes up toward the end after falling from the catwalk, and then somehow, despite being completely devastated, she manages to evade the police entirely... she lives in that same house for twenty years without anyone ever catching her. It’s just such a bizarre lack of interest from the police regarding a serial killer. And then there's Seo-yeon, who just decides to break into a police station in the middle of the night like it's nothing. 🤔

That album is absolute gold; there are at least three tracks on there that are nothing short of masterpieces. It’s such a shame about Drago Šarić, though... he passed away back in 2017, and it just isn't the same without him...
If you dig through the settings of any web browser, you'll find a section dedicated to your saved passwords. You can actually go a step further and set everything up to sync those credentials across your devices, so once you log in on a new machine, everything just pulls through automatically... It’s a lucky break, honestly, because The Beach Boys actually live up to everything I look for in top-tier American music...🙏
I don't know much about Elvis Presley yet, but I’ll definitely look into him. If you're a fan, he's probably worth the listen...

Did you do the usual check to see if it got buried in your spam or junk folder? If it's not there, you should ask over here. Post your question here: http://www.forum.com/showthread.php?t=245554
I honestly don't care who acts rude or uneducated, and frankly, I’m not even an electrical engineer myself. My only real job here is to make sure everyone stays on topic and keeps things civil. If I actually had a degree in this field, I might be able to drop some actual knowledge, but I don't... so if this discussion isn't heading in the direction you personally want it to go, there isn't much I can do to help you with that. On the Alternative subforum, we don't have a rule saying every single claim needs to be backed up by academic citations; it's more like a casual lounge where we let people's imaginations run wild. If we strictly enforced that, we’d probably have to shut down the Science on the Edge section entirely, since you could technically argue that almost any topic is nonsense if you look hard enough. Besides, I noticed a while ago that you’ve been pretty critical of how people behave on other parts of the site, similar to how you're acting here, but you’ve always been perfectly fine over on Alternative until now. So just take a breath and settle down... there's no need to start belittling everyone else.

Total newbie question here. What’s actually the deal with the difference between iTunes and Apple Music? From what I can tell, they seem to be two completely separate apps, yet you can basically listen to your music through either one... If I'm reading this right, why on earth would a single company bother having two different applications for the same thing?

But that depth isn't an inherent property of the movie itself (the surface of a film strip doesn't have any topographical relief, let alone some complex 3D shape). So, essentially, for that "third D" it is the audience who is responsible, not the film as a standalone entity.
Look, I know what a 3D movie is; I've been to plenty of them at the local theater.
As far as the fourth dimension goes... when it comes to cinema, Austin isn't exactly some supreme authority. I honestly don't get why there's this constant need to be the lid on every single (and I mean every single) pot! ...meaning, regarding the fourth dimension, the passage of time within the plot isn't one of the dimensions we're discussing here.
By that same logic, you wouldn't credit a 2D film with being three-dimensional just because of the hour and a half spent running through a projector—I know, sounds harsh, but those are the rules.
A 3D film is just a 2D film captured in a very specific way... plus that trivial fourth dimension known as 'aging, regardless of where you are or what you do'. And that doesn't count, because people love to tack that onto even the oldest films, the ones shot in black and white, which are still just 2D despite everything else.
Let me repeat: the 'third D' is the audience.
We thought about it—so that's how it is.
In short, it's called that simply because you all decided it should be. ☕
I'm pretty sure 4DX is just those seats that shake and rattle... But this "6D" thing? What is that, does it spray fart smells in your face or something? 🤔
I think they’re primarily talking about how you perceive the image itself, since a 3D image can technically be static...
If that's the case, then the logic is fundamentally flawed because a movie is essentially a sequence of frames changing over time—we're talking anywhere from 23.976 to 25 frames per second... You really can't equate it to a single still image, because at any given moment, there's only one frame being shown.
Since Einstein introduced time as the fourth dimension back in his theory of relativity a century ago, and modern physics is pushing those boundaries even further, I can't help but wonder why we still insist on calling these movies "3D" instead of "4D"... if we are actually perceiving all three spatial dimensions along with the progression of time within the frame. Has the film industry even given this much thought, or are they just sticking to outdated terminology?
